1. This was one of my favorites on this album, Kel Spencer held his own on this track, he was also on a couple tracks for the Wild Wild West soundtrack, did he make any other songs in the last 5 years? From the songs I heard him in he would be one of the top mcs in the game if were making more albums. What happened to him? :dunno:
2.
the problem was that no one passed it to marbury he is mad good and they did nothing with him he only tried about 1 3-pointer and missed
People are crying, "Oh, why didn't J. Kidd go instead of Marbury?" but I think that they would've still lost even if that was the case. I think Marbury is a better player than people think he is(he could win MVP if he had the right teammates) and if he does get more shots, they could win, but it's also not about that though either 'cause he is a point guard, he should bring the ball up the court, and the big guys box out the lane so Marbury could pass it to the open guy or take a shot if it's there, but they didn't play very organized! The reason why I bring up Richard Jefferson is 'cause he signed a $78 Million contract before the game and he can't hit a shot? Lebron James is making over $100 million in endorsements and he isn't steppin' up either! You hear on ESPN they're sayin' "these guys can't hit a shot" but you have to wonder why they're paid all this money then! :bang: They're not playing wit much pride, they're worried about $$$$ so I think that it would've been better if we brought a streetball team instead 'cause at least they would show heart.
3. After seeing that disasterous loss last night by the US basketaball team to Puerto Rico, I was thinkin' "When is the US team gonna call up Jordan, Ewing, and Barkley out of retirement to stop this disaster?" :dunno: I think even if Larry Bird was limping up and down the court, he would hit more shots than Richard Jefferson did. It was such an embarassment! :eek4:
4. Hey man dope rhyme! Me, you, and mfuqua23 all made summertime songs, we should all combine 'em into one phat mix, East Coast style!
5. Hey now cursing is just like using slang there's a time and a place for it, like when you're chillin' wit your friends at a party you say different things than you would if you were at a church or a buisiness meeting, and I couldn't imagine the president sayin' "It's off the hizzle, fo shizzle"! And another thing if anyone wants to hear some good Gospel rap, pick up KRS-ONE's "Spiritual Minded" CD, nobody bought this album when it came out in 2002 'cause they rather listen to songs about pimps and hoes! :tear: He said a great line in one of his songs called "The Struggle Continues": God created all music including rap! In another song "Take Ya Time" he said a line that's also pretty intriguing: "When you meet a man take some time to learn him/Yes it's still sacred to be a virgin", that's another thing that's not a good potray by the media, they make sex seem so cool, so a song like this one wouldn't get airplay, I was really shocked that "Jesus Walks" would actually get popular! I remember in high school some punks would make fun of any kid that said that he or she was a virgin, it's like you're not "cool" if u don't do drugs or have sex! :cussing: I could tell y'all I'm not gonna have sex wit anyone anymore until I really care about that person 'cause it just doesn't feel right!
6. Yeah AJ you're right about LL Cool J, but the only album that was really explicit was "The G.O.A.T.", but even though he cursed a lot on the album though he had songs like "I Can't Think", "You and Me", and "Homicide" where he was very creative with, I thought that the Cannibus battle might have influenced the more frequent cursing in that album 'cause many people were considering LL soft for doing songs like "I Need Love" and "Hey Lover", but I think he realised that doing an album like the G.O.A.T. was not him so he released "10" without curses and it was a solid album but not his best work, I like "Mama Said Knock You Out" the best from him. The truth is that today's hip-hop is garbage, it doesn't matter if there's cursing in it or not it just doesn't make sense, except Kanye West, he's the only creative one in it, Mase's song "Welcome Back" has no curses but I think it sucks regardless. I like listening to Public Enemy, KRS-ONE, LL Cool J, Nas, 2Pac, and Rakim the most besides JJ&FP 'cause even though there might be curse words in between their songs actually make sense. I don't think 2Pac would've released "Hit 'Em Up" if he didn't get shot, he obviously felt a lot of pain and felt betrayed when he was shot. A lot of rappers say "N.I.G.G.A." but 2Pac had a philosophy behind it from the Black Panther Movement that his mother was involved with. For those of you who don't know to 2Pac "N.I.G.G.A" meant "never ignorant getting goals accomplished".
7. Wow I thought more people bought Pete Rock's album than 27,763! They rather go out and buy Jay-Z's or Nelly's garbage!
8. Hey Jim I have a question to ask you, Did your parents let you watch Bad Boys II 'cause if they did then they should have no problem wit letting you listen to any hip-hop song 'cause Will Smith cursed a lot in that movie. I personally don't understand why parents trip so much over cursing 'cause it's not like they never cursed before, this is no different than sex and drugs when you get to be a teenager, you're gonna find out about it, in a way it's good that ur parents get on you about this 'cause they show they care, but once they understand that you have common sense to know that there's a time and place for saying certain things then they should be cool wit that, I think the best thing you could do is quietly sit down and talk to your parents, I talked to my parents about that when I was younger and they understood me. Hey now the world is not edited, you can see and hear things worse than what's in a movie or a song, it's only entertainment that we're talking about here so I don't why we should get all upset about somebody cursing in a song. The only thing that I'm personally not cool wit all the time is when the rappers say the 'n' word so much but that's how they talk on the streets and we shouldn't limit what they say if they want to say it since we have the 1st Amendment in America and for President Bush and Dan Quale to get on 2Pac in '92 was wrong! :cussing:
9. Hey Prince I'm gonna vote for you, but I have a question for you though, What prize do you get if you win? One day I'm gonna start my own website, when I get my music published, where I'll post all my song lyrics, pics of me performing, and clips of my music videos and singles, with a chat room that'll I'll occasionally pop in to chat wit my fans, hey sky's the limit 4 me I'm only 19, I got plenty of time to make something happen! :thumb:
10.
And Hey Bigted, I din't try to act like I was better then you! I'm just trying to give some critisism you can use, else there woudlnt be sence in responding.
Hey man it's all good! I like that u don't sugarcoat anything and that ur straight up about how u feel about it, I can take the criticism! :thumb:
11. Hey there's nothin' wrong wit listenin' 2 2Pac even though he curses, but so your parents don't flip on you, get the edited version of the albums. I don't think that there's nothin' wrong wit cursing in rap if there's a point to the song, but if the song is pointless then it's not good.
12. Yo Hero1 that was a dope video, yeah man that's real skills! I might have to check out some of their music!
13. Thanks Jim! It ain't their best but it's dope though! It was fitting song by a legendary duo in hip-hop to represent for the legendary Dream Team in '92!
14. Even when the odds are dim I'm gonna make it 'Cause through the darkest sky I could find the sun shine my way
15. I was reading the lyrics to this song and it seems very dope, but has anyone actually heard the track and if anyone ever did could u post it so I could hear it thanks! Peace!
16.
psst pshhhhh <wishpers> just download it
I'm not a big fan of his so I'll buy bootleg CD's or download Eminem's songs!
17.
Plus if he resigned in 30 days prior to the Presidential election, NJ would hold an election for a new governor, well yesterday it was about 60 days and so now they dont need an election and his vice-governor or whatever, can hold the position for another year and keep those democrats in power. Its all a little sneaky plan that McGreevey thought of.
Mcgreevey didn't step down as governor yet officially, he won't officially step down until after the 2004 Election, which you're right is very sneaky but I don't specially support one particular party 'cause there's both good and bad politicians in both Democrats and Republicans. For example I don't like President Bush that much anymore and he's a Republican, last year I thought that he was doing a good job in having us fight Iraq but now the way I see it, this is looking like Vietnam all over again, us fighting over there now is a lost cause, and it's not helping that we lost a lot of jobs here in America, it's disheartening to hear that all the new jobs comin' are the jobs in retail like what I'm currently doing, I mean now what would be the point of going to school for this new generation if the only job u could get out of high school and even college is retail jobs where you're making minimum wage, that's why everyone wants to rap and play ball now, we need to have someone like Kerry in office that'll bring us hope, but at the same time I don't like all Democrats 'cause I think that Mcgreevey is a horrible governor regardless of this sex scandal, when he raised our taxes, took away our healthcare, and raised car insurance to a record high, on top of that he's taking away our NBA team to Brooklyn, making people hate to live in NJ, damn I'm glad as hell I could vote now!
18. Hey mfuqua, nice verse, pretty strong flow, but hey what is the name of the song gonna be? Who's gonna give the song a title? Like I said before, I could post a verse for it here, but I don't have anything to record it with and the 1st songs that I wanna record are the ones I wrote already.
19.
daedulus..you been poppin 1 too many pills :eek4:
Yeah Daedulus, those rhymes you said don't even make sense, you put one verse in the numero uno forum and you now act like you're better than anyone else here, show some respect! :bang:
20.

Just for some more money? Where is your mind The government is also full of it Because all scandelistic Views come from there
These are 5 bars whitout 1 rhyme word!
The line before "Just for some money" I put "In front of the whole country" and the next line I put didn't rhyme but that's ok 'cause not every line in a song has to rhyme and after that you know how government, full of it, and scandelistic all rhyme, so those lines do make sense and it wasn't 5 bars without one rhyme, only 1!
21.
I am the illest deffest bestest rapper in town// My pants are blue and my shoes are brown//
Yeah but I'll make u look like a clown After I knock u out!
22.
They should let me do like a cameo for real! Just one verse you know, I could bring JJFP right back on top. no jokes im nice yo! im dope man, done im nice for real no playing my style is def fo sho.
Nah man I'm a better rapper than you are 4 REAL!
23.
august 31 ted same as jill scott...and maybe switch?
Thanks Hero1!
