JumpinJack AJ Posted February 17, 2006 Report Share Posted February 17, 2006 Alright, we all know we can't expect 2 ever get that full "I Wish I Made That (DJ Jazzy Jeff Remix)" that Jeff did nearly a year ago. However, we all know that he can use his myspace page 2 put up whatever he wants. He put up "Are U Ready" for download when Jay Dee passed away. He put up the beat he put 2gether a few weeks ago. I think that every single one of us who are on myspace should leave him a comment on the same day saying "We want that "I Wish I Made That (DJ Jazzy Jeff Remix)." Think about it. If roughly 20 people are requesting it, he may put it up for download even if it's just 4 a few days. HOWEVER, if we deside 2 do it, i think we should all agree on a day so that everyone can contribute. This will also allow those who aren't "Friends" of Jeff's 2 request him AND for those who want 2 set up accounts 2 do so in time. Let me know what u think. Dilla...and I even posted something on here about it, and not very many fans supported him in that blog. I think Timboat did, Luigie, and a coupla dudes I talk to on myspace showed respect... Now, we're gonna go askin him 2 do sumpthin for US, and cant show a brotha respect when he's obviously sharin with his fans about his pain in the losso f his friend, and just appreciatin ppl in general... Im down 4 it, but honestly,... how do u think that makes us look? Speech is in my 'extended' family here in ATL, believe it or not,..and he dont post here. The situation is... he's talkin about apprecition of LIFE in general and not taking advantage of showing love while we can 2 one another... JJ put up a piece of work in honour of Dilla, and we gonna go blowin up his page askin him 2 add something else? without even acknowledging the Pain he's sharin with us? I personally think we should wait b4 askin him to do that for our own selfish reasons. IM sure the real fans can imagine the sincerity and pain he feels, and dont mind showin support of his ideas b4 askin sumpthin from him... Im just trippiN on how much everybody always talkin bout how much they support JJ and appreciate his muZiK and contributions,..and cant find the tyme to express it in a blog where his heart is wide open to all of us about life ...
