What songs make you shake your head, roll your eyes, laugh, gag or just want to punch something because they're so horrendous? Premiering on Wednesday May 12th VH1 and Blender Magazine, present the "50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs ... Ever." This 2-hour special, hosted by George Lopez, will cover the lowest of the lows from the last three decades of bad songs. Join us as we count down this batch of one-hit-wonders, outdated theme songs, and strange, misguided musical flukes from our favorite artists, while our team of experts help explain why we've deemed these songs so awesomely bad. We've been covering our ears, shutting off the radio, and running from the room screaming for too long. It's time to ban these songs to our Hall of Shame! WildWildWillennium
That's a pretty stupid list. Many songs on there aren't bad at all. They may not be hot right now, but they were big at the time and people loved them. :dunno:
DevilsJim89
wow that is whack. Those songs are still awesome. But they are far from bad. I would have never expected this from VH1.
bigted
Wow! What was VH1 thinkin'? :dunno: "Will2K" wasn't one of Will's great songs but it wasn't that wack was it?!! Half of that list is a'ight while another half of that list was a bunch of wack songs like "Ice,Ice,Baby", damn I wanted to slap the punk at my high school that wanted to perform that song at our school's talent show a couple of years ago! How could they say that "Thong Song" was wack, they played that songs over and over on the boardwalk in Seaside back in the summer of 2000, I can't believe that was 4 years already! Jazzy Julie
When MJ is in a list of bad songs u realise the list isnt very good. There are a lot of great songs in there, but there are also some really wack ones. Wot was number 1?
JumpinJack AJ
I think u all are twisting the idea of this list. It isn't dissing the song at all. What VH-1 is doing with this show is saying "hey, we liked these songs, but this is why they leave a bad after-taste. They are saying this waz a good song, but since the subject matter is heavy on New Year's Eve 1999/2000, it's kinda useless now. For instance, i waz watching this show a week or 2 ago (not this exact one), but they were focusing on great songs/videos with bad dancing and i just remember catching the part that featured Jessica Simpson's "Irrisistible." They weren't dissing the song, they were talking about her attempt at dancing which wazn't very impressive but they tried 2 cover it up by having real dancers surrounding her and said that she is no Britney Spears in the choreography department. Again, the special wazn't dissing the song, they were making fun of how dated it is...which really dosen't bug me at all, cuz afterall, i agree...ha ha. DevilsJim89
I'd rather have "Boom! Shake the Room" on that list then "Will 2k". "Will 2k" was a classic new years/millenium song that was awesome.
Members Daedalus Mortality
Nah, AJ I think you got it wrong:
What's your least favorite song of all time?
is the subject And I kinda agee, I mean personally I think there are alot of songs that I like less, but it was a petty crappy song, I allways found that. And I think the main reason it is on here is becouse alot of the fans of the original song hated the way Will sampled it (I saw intervieuws about it.) And the person who said "boom shake the room" should be up there sooner, I agree whit you, but do you say this becouse Will said it was wack in the recent interview? or did you allways think it was? if the fist, I pray that you will one day be able to form youre own opinion. And @ the person who said Will2k shouldn't be up there becouse it got played alot? Since when did airplay means something is good music? Guest Guest
Ok. I totally understand some people being upset with that list by VH1...practically anyone who watched it had at least 3 of those songs that at one point in their life rocked them. That being said, the commentary was absolutely brilliant. I laughed my ass off for two straight hours.

cristigolo
I don't think that diddy's I'll be missing you is a bad song and "don't worry be happy" is also very good. Man that's a dumb list
