I'm sure we all have very important things to say...real life just happens to be a little more important at times...

I'm not really a fan of Rick Ross or R.Kelly (when he gets his thug or sexual predator on, otherwise hes great). DJ Khaled is annoying as hell (lol 2 him saying "We the best" for no good reason)...but he makes interesting beats. The song is listenable but nothing really archive worthy.

This is some of the most exciting stuff I've heard in a while!!! Game Rebellion are a political rock/rap group...kinda like Rage Against the Machine except the rapper is about as hip hop as they come. Legendary DJ J.Period gets together with them to make an excellent mixtape paying homage to some of Rick Rubin's best work, including homage to Run DMC, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and even the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. And it's not just rapping over old beats, the beats are kinda re-imagined from a punk rock perspective. There is a balance of fun and political content for those easily bored with either... give it a listen, u will probably like it... Word! The whole vocoder thing came and went with T-Pain...whom I have only like in a couple of songs anyway....

That was my favorite Mos Def role...he pretty much plays an over the top hilarious version of himself and lays down a monster of a rap performance. He was possibly the most memorable thing in the whole movie, if not for 20 seconds of Slick Rick and Doug.E.Fresh performing in a cipher.
