  1. Jesus Christ, somebody's feeling bitchy... :stickpoke:
  2. "Nas furthers the conversation by expressing his frustration that a woman can be convinced she is why "sin is here" by reading the Bible (Eve taking the forbidden fruit). He accuses men of having "played her, with an apron, 'like bring me my dinner dear. She the n----r here. Ain't we in the free world?" " One of the many places where nas completely nails the subtleties of injustice present in society... I almost forgot to compliment you on your excellent review...almost makes me like the album better...
  3. Trying to care... :sipread: ...can't do it :leaving:
  4. Solid effort...I loved the concept records more than anything. Fried chicken is my favorite, Sly fox is just a pure anti-establishment anthem for the '08 and although I'm not sure about Frakkhan's past anti-semitic comments I love the song. only a couple of fillers, ehich still make enjoyable listens...it's a solid 8.5/10
  5. If I was one of these legendary rappers dissatisfied with stuff on the radio...I would try and make music that would change it, and not bitch and whine about kids a fraction of my age...It's our job to be critical of what we dislike, as rap fans, but rap legends need to keep quiet and try to reinvent and stay fresh...
  6. So much better than the Mandela concert...Makes me remember why I became a JJFP fan in the first place! *Rocks out of thread bumping greatest hits CD*
  7. The crowd loved Jay-Z, just as much as they would have liked Coldplay or radiohead, Jay-Z was probably more exciting for them since it was something drastically different from the other acts on the stage...
  8. i think that one i genuinely funny, they're supposed to be high...
  9. The wonderwall move was either a win or lose for Jay. Because on one side Jay showed that Oasis are immensely popular, or on the other hand he showed that he can share the same fan base. Whatever it was the crowd ate it up...the Ac/Dc riff killed!
  10. Kinda looking forward to his next album, songs like Dreams, 300 bars and running and that Nas collab make me think that he could actually have made a classic album if given the right direction, his past two albums had too many filler tracks...And i really like hate it or love it, even 50 cent is good on it...
  11. Innocent and imaginative doesn't mean it lacks artistic merit...I'm looking forward to it...
  12. Geeorge Carlin - Baseball & football Truly a legend! R.I.P
  13. Kinda makes me wish i was in England....I expect people will youtube the crap out of this tho'...
  14. The song is dope...but all that muscle flexing in the video is giving me an inferiority complex...
  15. i'm into the first few tracks...Not bad at all! It goes pretty hard...
  16. Out of curiosity I just downloaded a "Best of lil Wayne" compilation a few days ago...which I'm yet to listen to...the more and more I hear from him the more and more I want to delete that folder...still curious tho'...
  17. Pretty sure he's guilty...Boondocks was pretty much prophetic on this one...
  18. Lupe vs Lil Wayne? I'm really upset that this is even a discussion...
  19. Yep combines my two favourite things...hip hop and Seinfeld, been bumping this all week. I don't like his voice much but he is definitely talented...
  20. I haven't seen or heard eminem be this...nice before. DJ Premier was talking about how good his collab with Em was, I really hope these are signs that the "renegade" era eminem comes back!
