  1. I know I'm a bit late, responding from when this thread originally started lol, but I think Will is close to putting another album out. I have no source, I'm just going by shear gut and guessing. Looking at his 4 albums he has put out as an individual artist , without Jazzy Jeff (at least not full time, Jeff has since produced tracks for Will that have made cuts on his albums), he puts out an album about every 3 years, maybe 2 years, depending upon the number of roles he is set to be in, that same year. Just this year he has done a lot. Putting out a few movies with himself as one of the main characters, making appearences (Ltalk shows= Leno, appearences, award shows etc.). With all of that factored in, he still needs time, and LOTS of it to spend with his family. He wants to grow with all his children (Will is a great father in my mind), spend time and enjoy life with Jada and still have time for friends, maybe musician friends, actors/actresses, close friends etc. That's a lot! I say he puts out an album early 2009- somewhere around January- March. I'm calling it lol!
  2. Ohh yeah...I remember that now, but I don't remember how that quote ends though *as he leaves to go watch it* Yeah I too remember the episode, but not the quote- at least not the end of it lol. But um, I'm going to take a guess, judging from what I remember about that episode (quotes, how it ended etc.) Is it this? It was amazing and endless- but I think I've come to my senses? LOL if I got that wrong, then I don't know, at least it's not coming to me clear right now. I thought maybe it would rhyme too, just judging by the way the quote looks (it sounds poetic sort of lol).....tell me if i'm right though, thanks!
  3. Ok here's two pieces of trivia from TFP for y'all. They're not trivia questions; just straight up trivia facts. Tell me honestly who knows these besides me. 1. In the episode where it's Geoffrey's birthday, Will wants his present for Geoffrey to be a (somewhat) hot date for him to go out with and have fun with, instead of just sitting around on his birthday. While Geoffrey is upstairs in his room finishing dressing himself, Will remarks "That's what you're wearing tonight G?" Geoffrey then replies with a nod then Will replies, adding that Goeffrey looks like Ben Vereen, Tony-Award winning actor. Ben Vereen would go on to play Will's father Lou, making his only appearance in the sitcom's 6 year run, in the episode "Papa's Got A Brand New Excuse." Foreshadowing if you will? 2. In The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's 2 part finale, Little Nicky exaggeratively jokes that his father, Uncle Phil is old as dirt and that everybody is younger then him. Further on in the episode, Daphne Maxwell Reid aka the second actress on the show to portray wife and mother "Vivian Banks," exclaims that "your father (saying this to Nicky) is older then I am," when he asks how old she is, after knowing Uncle Phil just turned the big 5 0. This is ironic because Daphne Maxwell Reid is ACTUALLY 4 months older in real life, then James Avery is (Vivian Banks, Phillip Banks)....Betcha didn't know that :yeahthat: :). Continue on with the questions, fellow TFP fans!
  4. I'm surprised more people didn't buy em', to start selling some of them on E-Bay. Unless the rug was completely pulled from up under, before the shoe even got a chance to release in front of the general public. Really sucks! I don't even mind the purple pair being in their; they are fly and represent TFP very well as a show, all throughout a pair of shoes.
  5. ^ Speaking of Tatyani's singing career, aside from being an aspiring actress in Hollywood, did you know the producer she is working with in finishing her next album is Doug Rashed. He produced the hits "Gangsta's Paradise," and "Only God Can Judge Me," for the popular rappers Coolio and Tupac (2pac) Shakur back in the day.
  6. That particular typecast might always be there, along with the dance, the sillyness etc. everything associated with the Carlton Banks character. His character on-screen is even mentioned in lyrics to songs in pop culture. "Arms start wavin' like the Carlton Banks dance."
  7. I agree, not only that but it was also sometimes focused on Alfonso/Carlton's height (what if he got really tall from '96-now?. Also, Uncle Phil's weight, again what if James Avery went on a huge diet after the show ended and wasn't really that fat anymore, at least not enough to become the premises of the fat jokes. There's so many minor and upscale factors you've got to play into. A lot of episodes were focused on Ashley's innocence= because of her small build and her age at the time (and her personality on and off screen maybe). Ex. the episode where Will and Uncle Phil try to stop a large bully from constantly beating Ashley up during school/school hours, her kissing a member of the football team (you can play into that a little but it was the premises of that episode, etc.). What if Tatyani is way diff. then she was as herself 10-15 years ago and diff. then she was, portrayed as the young and fragile Ashley Banks. That's just the jist of it though. To be honest, I definitely want a reunion show to come out in the oncoming years, whenever that may be and a movie but I don't see a movie happening or a movie able to be put together in a given amount of time. That's just my opinion though on the movie type deal.
  8. Can we post trivia? Because I have some real good trivia, that no one or most people don't know, but you can't really put into a question.
  9. As reported by FU2 Clothing.com, http://fu2clothing.blogspot.com/2008/05/ca...-bel-air-x.html They report "The highly anticipated collab between Puma and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (Bel-Air Pack/West Philly Pack) has been scrapped due to legal issues. Currently no other blogs/sites have this information posted so you're going to have to take our word." I think you can still order/buy the Pumas because they went on sale and was canceled afterwards but i'm not 100% though. This sucks!
  10. I don't know what special features you guys think you are going to get, honestly. Will Smith has never done one single special feature on the set of or for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air sitcom. The only SPs you might get whenever the 5th and 6th seasons are released are bloopers, except most episodes include the bloopers at the end of the episode, when the end credits are rolling as most fans like me obviously already knew and have taken to. Unless they show never before seen footage or w/e, I don't see much extras being put on, even though I want something myself. Anybody that hears any updated info on the 5th and 6th season projects, please keep everybody else updated and in the circle ASAP/when you hear it. Thanks!!..
  11. Um I don't know if this officially counts but if you wanted to get real deep into it, remember the episode where there's a earthquake and Will and his girlfriend at the time (i forget her name), are stuck in the basement or something. Will finds out the gf has all this fake stuff, like hair, and nails lmao. Well anyway, when he's singing down there "I'm stuck in a basement, sittin on a tricycle, girl getting on my nerves. Goin out of my mind, I thought she was fine, don't know if her body is hers," which btw, is hilarious lol, the lyrics and him singing it, that is a play off of a Prince song called "Darling Nikki." Obviously the Prince version doesn't have Will's version, idk if anybody could find Will's version, it would be so rare, considering it's a small verse from a television show episode. Anyway, just trying to help :). I will think up more songs you can include.
  12. nope, thepiratebay.org type in, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and you should get a link to the complete series, or I'm sure you can just dl individual seasons if you wish. I'd suggest for anybody looking for the whole series, to use one link then re up Season 6 with another link or another site, cause season 6 is in absolute horrible quality. oh and, mods, don't ban me    for real tho
  13. Honestly, I don't know why Will Smith hates talking or associating himself with this show, it was focused around him for 6-7 years and is one of the most popular sitcoms in the '90s, and even all time. He never did one special for the show (bloopers of the show are shown at the end of each episode and extra bloopers are shown on sites like Youtube) but he never orchestrated any of that himself. I feel this was a great show, and he started it, and he didn't even want to finish it. He wanted out after 4 seasons, and fans got him to do 2 more/extra seasons, writing to him constantly. I think a TFP re-union movie or a special or w/e they can put together with creative input would be excellent. Working around Alfonso's increase in weight (tremendously) since the show's end in 1996, you could possibly say he never went to Princeton or an Ivy League school for that matter, and got depressed and started to eat as the whole family relocated to NY (remember?). I am going to write a plot and a sample script, if their were to be a TFP movie. Be on the look out within the next couple of days.
  14. Tatyani Ali is working on another r&b album of hers, she is working with producer Doug Rasheed who produced Coolio's "Gangster Paradise" and has worked with multi millionaire rapper Tupac Shakur. She is also talking to schools and college campuses, setting up organizations to vote for Barack Obama in this year's upcoming presidential election. Alfonso is doing minor movie roles and is in a upcoming tv show, I forget the name of it. I don't think Karyn Parsons is doing TV, at least not much of it anymore, I heard she lives in some odd place away from all the media spotlight in CA, like in Ohio or some place. Obviously, Will is still running strong, with Hancock coming out, he still puts out rap albums every 3/4 years and has his family to work and hang around. I see him on Jay Leno a lot, the two are real good friends, as you saw in the episode of TFP where Will takes pictures of celebrities houses at night, and happens to take a picture of Jay Leno's, to distribute it improperly. I looked up a lot of info on Joseph Marcell, the last TV show he was in, was in a 2006 soap opera entitled "EastEnders", playing the part of Aubrey Valentine. He also has hosted those Nick at Nite specials where their are TFP marathons, occasionally.
  15. I have the whole series. The 5th season I have is real good quality. I need to actually re-up my 6th and final season I have, the quality is horrible and in some episodes, scenes blank out and acts funky. I could tell everybody where I got the whole series at, what site for free, I didn't pay no $116 to get it and i'm sure the quality was just as good, probably better then people are selling them online.
  16. was one of the better lines in the movie. The second half of the movie was where you really get to know Hancock and what his story is about, which for me was not the best part. As AJ said, the story line is a bit bizarre and I wasn't feeling it quite as much. To be honest, I was more captured by the super hero powers and attitude of Hancock than his bizarre story. Since I went into it with no expectations, I really did enjoy the movie and would love to see it again. I give it a 8/10. Until next time y'all P.S. Happy 4th of July! First Half Of the Movie= Great, a blend of real good humor, had a plot to it. Good. Second Half= OK, not as good as the first. the line with the bully being thrown up and the "how bout you thickness?" scene was great. also, the beginning and the prison scene and the police scene with the latino guys was pretty cool. the first half was also good because of Will Smith's acting. He is the nice guy in Hollywood and to see him portraying a character who's obnoxious, doesn't give a sh*t and is ruthless, it adds to the movie. Charlize Theron was hot, she looked great as always! Also, I thought the scene where the husband was on the cell phone talking to a client or to somebody from work was good because of the way Hancock wouldn't stop by any means to keep hitting Charlize with whatever object was laying around in her kitchen. Overall, I give it 7.6/7.7 out of 10. First half was about a 8-8.5/10 then it dipped off. While I like the effects in the tornado scene, the supposed robot and the corniness didn't draw my attention as much as the humor and the action of the first half of the movie did. The plot to the movie was brilliant and the acting was decent. I'll give more on my take later on.
  17. Well this is more a nobody could see it coming kind of moment, but it's when Trevor is in the process of proposing to Hilary while asking her to marry him while bungee jumping off a cliff, then to have his bungee break, leaving him squashed as a pancake on the ground dead. Not only that but the faces on the family even Hilary who doesn't know wtf happened are priceless. Will says something like "Uhm I'm not a expert or nothing but I know he aint supposed to be on the ground like that." Lmao.
  18. I sort of get that funny shirt, I wanna get that too! It's just a shirt off the theme song's taxi cab right? Yo holmes to Bel-Air! hahah
  19. I'm trying to think of all the times Henry Furth/Firth and his wife are on the show, episode wise. I was watching "Mistaken Identity" last night from Season 1 and I know they're in that episode. I just wanted to know, the wife is funny, how she never can hear anything and messes everything up. Somebody just name other episodes, name or not that they are in. Cool.
