  1. Haven't been on the boards all that much. Been pretty busy lately. Finished high school last week and graduated last Saturday. I got a part time summer job at Subway, working with a friend of mine. Its going pretty well so far, definitely the best part time job I've had so far. I'm also working a landscaping job on the side. Decided where I'm going to school next year. I'm moving to Florida with a friend to go to Full Sail University, to get a degree in Recording Arts. I'm hoping to become an audio engineer after I get my associates degree. Can't wait to live out on my own, sharing an apartment with my friend. I'm moving mid-Aug hopefully. In my free time, I'm chillin with friends, starting to work on music again, and living up my last summer at home while making plans for next year. Basically thats where I'm at right now.
  2. With Fresh in the license plate and Dice in the mirror ...I could say that this cab is Rare... hahaha I didn't get that shirt @ first, but thats dope!
  3. Happy Sunday :leaving: No seriously, thats definitely a cool idea man (even though you probably have been watching a little too much POH). Setting goals always helps get things accomplished. Good luck dude.
  4. Yo Tim How do you find such amazing stuff?!!? :wickedwisdom:
  5. I love the FPOBA reference "I got a Will like Carlton Banks"
  6. Looks like he might not have changed the name after all: http://www.tmz.com/2008/05/20/nas-its-still-called-n-n-s/
  7. I...envy...you... Just messing, have fun Kev. The pictures should be dope.
  8. Yeahh...JJFP at least gets pretty good recognition at allhiphop.com. A lot of people there respect what they really did for hip hop. I'm going to have to check out some of the tracks on there I near have listened to before. Gotta love Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day", my favorite Cube joint.
  9. JJ is still one of the dopest producers out, he always brings the realness. Never heard of Phil Nash before, but he spit some nice rhymes. Thanks for sharing!!
  10. I don't know...I think if Nas wanted to name his album that, he should have used his right of free speech to do it. By the interviews I have seen of him talking about the album name, it sounded as if he had a lot of meaning behind his original title. Although, this probably saved him a lot of bad media.
  11. Some Jazzy Jeff stuff in there too. Dope!
  12. If those shoes are real, and if they actually get released for sale, I'm definitely going to cop em! But if these are photoshopped pics, I'd be pissed.
  13. For da Love of da Game - George Benson - "Face it Boy, It's Over" Da Ntro - Weather Report - "Young and fine" Lovely Daze - Bill Withers - "Lovely Day"
  14. The Garden - "Angela" - Bob James My Soul Ain't For Sale - "What You Won't Do For Love"- Bobby Caldwell I'm 95% sure about the sample for My Soul Ain't For Sale.
  15. awww yeahhhhh... thats how you do it. I was surprised at how well Busta rode the beat, haven't heard him rhyme that well in a long time. Kweli is always spitting realness. That was a great tribute.
  16. I could really use that accapella for scratching, etc. It would be dope if anyone could upload it if they have it. Thanks
  17. spam...its whats for dinner :gettinjiggywitit:
  18. haha that video was dope. I wish I had a FPOBA jersey...also I've never seen that pic of FP. Nice!
  19. Yo I remember this video too!! Its awesome :jazzy:
  20. Dope stuff!! I CAN'T miss my chance to see them live, who knows if this will be once in a lifetime sort of thing. I definitely think they could pull off another album without tainting their legacy, they all have worked on solo stuff since they stopped putting records out together. I guess its just all about the timing like they said.
  21. Yeah, that song is one of the hardest diss tracks ever recorded. Ice Cube is one of the few gangsta rappers that I actually listen to, his stuff is classic. Can't wait to check his new album out after hearing Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It.
  22. Honestly, the beat sucks in my opinion. He NEEDS to work with better beats, this sounds like some kind of crappy Dirty South hip pop. No doubt, he has and can do better than this.
