  1. If they retire Gretzky's number why not MJ's ? Just a thought.
  2. Congrats Brakes I hope this leads to something even bigger. Mad props
  3. I don't really like tv shows with a serious or dark tone. I don't know why but it's mostly comedies for me. Though there are a few exceptions like Californication. Currently I love: - Scrubs (amazing show, too bad Zach had to leave cause his character was just so funny) - Californication (Duchovny is just perfect in this role. I wasn't feeling this for the first few episodes but it grew on me) - Southpark (Can I get an amen ? Cartman doing poker face, Butters what what in the .... just brilliant comedy) - Simpsons (I can't get enough of Homer) All-time (TV shows that ended): - Friends (possibly the perfect tv show ever) - FPOBA (Close 2nd I prolly watched every episode a thousand times and still get a kick out of it) - Seinfeld (No soup for you !!!!) - 90210 (Ooohh I feel so embarassed admitting this one. What can I say I loved Brandon (Jason Priestley (no homo).) - Frasier (I always felt bad about people who watched Frasier but then one day I caught one and had to sit through it and I loved it a lot since then I watch re-runs.) - Knight Rider (David Hasselhoff in his prime, you know it's cheesy but you still end up watching it) - A-Team (I love it when a plan comes together) - Married With Children (Al Bundy was a funny funny character) - Spin City (With Michael J.Fox and NOT with charlie sheen I can't stand that guy) - The Cosby Show (I watched it as a kid still occassionally do when I catch one) - Family Ties (Loved it, Michael J. Fox was pretty good) Out of those I religiously followed Friends, FPOBA and Seinfeld. The others I liked but didn't follow it with a passion. If I caught one I'd watch it.
  4. Jeff wants it but obviously Will doesn't feel the same way as Jeff. Time is just an excuse especially when you take nearly a year off.
  5. He made a soundtrack for MIB. He made a soundtrack for MIIB. You fill in the blanks
  6. I loved this speech. I don't know why people are bothered with it or think it was arrogant or c0cky. He explained how he got to be so competitive and what kept him motivated all those years. In essence, how he became MJ. It was also quite funny, the Byron Russel part was hilarious. Overall a good heartfelt honest speech.
  7. Do you honestly think 'Seven Pounds' was a step back in Will's career and 'Men In Black 3' would be a step forward? Wow. In movies like '7P' WIll shows how good an actor he can be. Same with 'Ali' and 'Pursuit Of Happyness'. I guess it depends on which MIB we're going to see. The 1st MIB is Will Smith's 2nd best critically acclaimed movie to date. People really don't give it enough credit but MIB is a classic. It is the 80's Ghostbusters. MIB was a huge step forward for Will's career. The 2nd one wasn't good I'll give you that. 7P may not have been a step backwards but it also wasn't a step forwards. We're speculating on this movie or that movie but frankly it isn't as much about what genre/movie Will is making it usually is about which writer/director we're going to see for that movie. I've always admitted that MIB was a great movie even though I never liked it. But 'Men In Black' 3? Now? Is it necessary? For me it's a BAD idea, especially since what they did with the second movie.. I think the best director Will has worked with is Michael Mann. He's 1 of my all-time favorite directors for many reasons ('Heat', 'Collateral', 'The Insider', 'The Last Of The Mohicans'...). But yeah I'd like 2 see Will working with better directors too. That's why I want him to make 'Oldboy' with uncle Steven. Yeah Mann is awesome, same goes for Steven. I hope he works more with these type of A list directors. His career will become much much better than it already is and so will the quality of his movies.

  9. Hah that looks great. Very catchy song and great dancing. I like it very much.
  10. Yeah welcome back Angel, nice to see you back with us.
  11. Wow, Jaden is so lucky to be in the presence of JC and to have him as a tutor. Jackie is really a wonderful person and that's a good thing for Jaden. I wish Will's official site would be kinda like JC's. I LOVE Jackie's website, with the blogs and pictures and replies amazing. Thanks for the share Ale.
  12. Oh my god, I kept biting on my tongue trying not to cry. I did cry a bit here and there. The moments where I had to shed a tear was when Al Sharpton spoke (it was incredibly inspirational and oh so emotional), when Usher almost broke down and neared his casket, when Jermaine performed Smile, when Stevie performed...but I got really deeply emotional and teary when his family walked on the stage. When Jermaine talked...than I started to cry when Marlon tried talking at first but couldn't because of his loss...but when Paris started to talk I literally lost it. This is one of the heaviest emotional moments of my life. Even now I feel depressed, saddened...it's like a big part of you is gone and you still can't accept that, at least I can't.
  13. Anybody else following the memorial ? The more I watch it the more I feel depressed. I still can't accept that he's gone...I'd like to accept it but I can't. I never knew I was going to miss him so much.
  14. Enjoy your holiday Will. And please come back with something good.
  15. MJ rehearsal clip OMG he looks amazing, he was ON FIRE. What could've been.... http://edition.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Music/07/02/jackson.wrap/index.html
  16. I find it very ironic and sad that people blasting MJ in the past (living color etc.) are now trying to s-ck up to MJ. Yes, I'm looking at you Jamie. How does it feel to be a douche ?
  17. Exactly my thoughts. I understand that some people don't show any emotion yet still care a lot, and most likely his father falls in that category. But some things seemed very ''cold'' to me during that interview...how he said ''the world lost one of the biggest superstars'' instead of ''I lost my son''. I can understand that part but the thing that just scared me the most was how he tried to promote his record company...that's something people do to use an opportunity for themselves to gain something from it and it doesn't give you the impression of a person who cares a lot. This, plus MJ's remarks about his dad, really shows what type of person he is. I feel bad for MJ for not having a proper father. Sure, he might not have become this big, but he would've been much MUCH happier in life...and maybe less troubled.
