im white and i still think that this would be a bad idea. just cause i know where it came from. like in coach carter when hes explaining to the team not to use the word.

I could have sworn i already posted this Anyway, basically would you be offended if a white rapper used the dreaded n-word?? I know people would be offended if he used it to racial offended someone. but im talking about using it like black people do. "my n*gga" (etc). cause i know my black friends dont care if i or other white people use the word around them. as long as we dont use it offensivly. i dont use the word in my songs or anything like that i was just curious to see your opinions. >>>If he DIDNT use it to deliberatly offend people<<<<

actually....thats a really strong possibility im gonna tape the preshow too now, and i suggest everone else does too.

first off this kid i know has will smith as his friend on myspace(lol) which i know is fake. second of all, the ONLY thing that would make me think that it is really tatyana ali's myspace is that picture or her parents. but all the other pics are just ones that us guys like to look at. and on top of that, you can pics of anything on the internet now a days. someone could have got the pic of her parents and just went to some site for info about her parents. i know some of us on the site probaly know will smiths parents names, so what prevents other people from know tatyanas parents names?? so thats what i think.

I rememeber back in time, circa 1999. the mtv beach house was located in seaside heights nj, which is right near my beach house. so we went to look at the beach house. i touched the fence ( :hail: hahah jk). and then the next day i was watching my mtv and will smith comes in on a yaut(sp) or speedboat. gets off the boat and performs! i was like WHAT I HAVE TO BE THERE!!! but i couldnt go. i remember him performing 2 songs. i dont remember the first one but i remember the second one was summertime cause it was the first time i heard it. thought you might find this interestng esp. big ted

i doubt that its really her page. i have a myspace so ive seen lots of fakes. why would someone use pictures from photoshoots and not their own? and on top of that on the tatyana one, theres a moving picture of her in a skirt and high socks. she looks very attractive, i dont think she would take that part of the show and then edit that part and use it. but i could be wrong.

im downloading it as im typing. if i like it(which i probaly will) ill see where it'll fit in. cauise all my tracks are open. to new backgrounds. EDIT: im listening to this right now. its real cool. im gonna try to use it for my track "introduction". so now i just gotta find out how to fix my software.

well if you think about it, non fans of will dont listen to his music so they wouldnt hear born to reign. that could be why non fans dont say stuff about it. but if they did i think they would bash it quite hard.

........this isnt gonna happen any time soon just for the record. my software is acting funny and im not happy with the background beat. but i have all the vocals recorded. so i dont know what else to say.

Lets hope that they have more exciting things to tell their grandchildren... ← :lolsign: all of you are right, when i first heard the title track i was like, damn! then the second song got worse and worse then black suites coming boosted it up a lil, then that section in the middle was good, then went down with i gotta go home. i thought momma knows wasnt that bad.

i think born to reign is an ok album but i feel like if i try to listen to it i cant listen to through the whole album. ill be like enough of this let me listen to willennium. give me tonite is my favorite track. i love when rap songs have violin and classical elements in them. it sounds so hot to me.

i signed it too, E! does a good job on those things

both good points we have here. i agree that the critics wont like this and probaly bash will for using his son, for some odd reason. and i agree with cataboy, i cant put it better than he did.
