i was searching google to figure out how to sample songs for my beats (if anybody can help me that would be great) and i came across this list. its a HUGE list of songs that were sampled. it says what artist, what song and who it was sampled by, and what song they used it on. check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sampled_songs

it doesnt matter how long each verse is, they dont have to be the same. unless theres something i dont know

1)well its not freestyleing in the audio battle, you can write your verse and then spit it over the beat. 2)you can get a USB mic it doesnt have to be firewire. (i have a USB mic)

when i record and dont know the words that well and read off paper it comes out not as well as when i spit a verse that i have memorized. i always freestyle in the shower :wiggle:

it was nas's "i gave you power" where hes writing from the perspective of a gun....but holy sh!t, i made a really good beat for this (in my mind at least) and its 99% done. i just need to fix a part that plays when its not supposed to, its a flaw in the system i guess, not on my part. but it will be on my myspace when its done, ill post it on this thread when it is
