  1. Yeah Will is just a big kid..he's silly. So it doesn't surprise me that he lets the kids get away with sum things. Jada has 2 be the bad cop sumtimes. But I remember she said in a magazine that the kids know her bark but she is kind of like the yellow caution light. cos if she is annoied that means dad is annoied. So they have a couple of minutes 2 stop what they doing or else dad is gonna handle it :lolsign: Will said it 2 when they asked him who runs the house. He said Jada does. They have such a lovely family

  6. Smithsonian To Host Museum's First Ever On Going Exhibit On Hip-Hop Culture By EbenGregory Date: 2/22/2006 11:20 am http://allhiphop.com/hiphopnews/?ID=5393 The Smithsonian Institute's National Museum of American History is in the process of launching and hosting "Hip-Hop Won't Stop," the museum's first-ever on going and evolving exhibit on Hip-Hop culture in the The Smithsonian. Ice T., Russell Simmons, Crazy Legs and others will hold a press conference on Feb. 28 at the New York Hilton, where a list of artists that will assist the museum in documenting Hip-Hop's 30-year history will be announced. The project will trace Hip-Hop from it's origins in the 1970's to its current global domination. The exhibit will showcase a permanent collection, with various artists donating an artifact to the exhibit. Vinyl records, handwritten lyrics, boom boxes, clothing, microphones and other artifacts will be featured. The museum is also working with Bill Adler, Mark Shimmel of Mark Shimmel Music, Dr. Benjamin Chavis and the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network. Founded nearly 50 years ago, the Museum of American History collects and preserves more than 3 million artifacts. The exhibitions explore major themes in American history and culture, from the War of Independence to present day. Some 4 million visitors pass through the museum's doors each year to view the exhibitions, collections and research facilities.

  12. Universal Zulu Nation Calls Emergency Meeting to Recapture Hip-Hop By Chris Richburg Date: 2/17/2006 3:40 pm http://www.allhiphop.com/hiphopnews/?ID=5381 The Supreme World Council of the Universal Zulu Nation will hold an emergency meeting Feb. 22 to address what the group feels is an imbalance of Hip-Hop played on radio and TV stations. Expected to appear at the meeting to support the Universal Zulu Nation and founder Afrika Bambataa include Hip-Hop activists Kevin Powell, Davey D, Rosa Clemente and April Silver; rapper KRS-One; the Temple of Hip-Hop, educator and filmmaker Martha Diaz; Public Enemy frontman Chuck D; photographer Ernie Paniccioli; Rock Steady Crew member Crazy Legs. According to representatives for the Universal Zulu Nation, Bambaataa hopes steps will be taken to bring consciousness back to Hip-Hop. "We are not saying to stop playing what you are playing on the air or showing on the TV, but to have balance and play it all, old-school to new-school to be true school," representatives for Bambaataa said in a statement. The group hopes a plan of action will be devised to curtail "death and destruction playing on radio and TV music video shows." The coalition of artists and activists hope to stop being scared to expose "record labels, radio stations, TV Hip-Hop shows or whatever shows that show us in a BS vision of just being pimps, playas, gangsters and hoes, straight up niggers, wiggers or any other derogatory words that they use and we use to call ourselves." The emergency meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the National Black Theater, 125th Street and Fifth Ave. in New York City. The Universal Zulu Nation was formed in the 1970's by Africa Bambaataa.
  13. Eww that is just sick. How could he do that?!? Like Vipa said I can't even imagine the pain.
  14. well, i wouldn't quite say buttkissing...but ur pretty close on point tho. It just sickens me after his performance and nomination, to not get anything. I was just sooo upset that night, i can remember it like yesterday... I think i was more hurt (feeling sad 4 him) than anything, specially when he had left,...but he turned it around and made positive headlines when Miss Willow got sick... I dont know who sits on their drunk behinds, tosses a quarter and says heads or tails with who gets the awards, but Will got Jipped out of his...and i dont care who disagrees with me either... peace, cookie I'm with you 100% cookie, i thought he got jipped! they coulda gave it to Denzel for his role in John Q before they gave it to him for Training Day....i didn't see the big deal about that movie anyway, but i guess it was more his performance?...anyway i agree Will shoulda won, but it'll happen soon enough i suppose I agree wit that as well Will should have won an Oscar fro his performance in Ali not Denzel. I mean Denzel is a great actor but Training Day was not like his other films like Hurricane or Philadelphia. Hopefully next year he'll win one and if not soon. Anyways glad 2 see him out and about. I know he's been laying low for sometime now..probably enjoying spending sometime time with his kids and his wifey Jada. Ahh if Will is gonna be at the Oscars Jada is gonna be there. Cant wait 2 see what the cute couple will wear 2 the event.
  15. I think it would be wise 2 get it check out especially if its been going on 4 about a week!

  17. OOH that was funny :lolsign: Bow Wow has lost his mind. I think it could be true. I mean he did open his big mouth and said that Will is a not a real rapper and he was. Somebody needs 2 slap that boy upside the head *picture Will and Carlton* :bat: :lolsign:
