i'm confused! maybe Cobb Street is being more specific 2 the location of Compton. as in Cobb Street is a street in Compton that Carlton must stay at. i don't remember it being any different on TV than it is on the DVD :dunno:

hey AJ, i found a way 2 skip those 1 second tracks. i got a program called Nero (u may have heard of it) which burns CD's and allows u 2 skip the pause in between tracks. i think a lot of programs let u do that, but if u use the default cd burning wizard on ur comp, then u cant. u might want 2 consider buying a program like that. well, actually i downloaded mine (whoops)

thank u very much 4 that website, it was very useful! yeah AJ they have the album cover that has a red background, and pictures around on that website also. all of the tracklistings are the same 4 every album, except the version released on Word Up records says that Rock The House waz performed live in union square, ny. that would be a cool track 2 hear! 2 bad u cant order albums from that site.

yeah that would be great if all the albums were remastered (except the $ i'd be spending on them :toetap: ) i wonder if jive would do anything just because we send them a letter? i guess we'll have to see

well it's not a whole lot 2 live on, but its sumpthin different. most of the trax r just extended versions of Jeff's scratchin trax. it's good 4 those real JJFP heads who have 2 hear every version of every JJFP track. here goes a couple: He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper (6.5 mb) DJ On The Wheels (4 mb)

i have He's The DJ on tape and i compared the tracks lengths of all the songs and found out that the following songs are extended on the He's The DJ cassette tape: He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper Hip-hop Dancer's Theme DJ on the Wheels Human Video Game Jazzy's In The House and also Another Special Announcement is on the cassette tape. i will try 2 upload these files (maybe 1 a day or so) for y'all fanatics who want 2 hear the extended versions.

yeah this is like one of the only versions available on the internet. when i downloaded Boom! off the internet i waz like, this is good, but when i went out and got the real album and learned Boom! waz only like 3 min i waz dissapointed. i think this is a better version of Boom! than the original.

it's just one day man.... besides if ur gonna do that, then as some others on the board would say, ur downloading and ruining the experience. c'mon one more day ain't nothin

well i think that'd be pretty hard 2 do. they probably did record sum stuff, then when the group changed, they probably threw out the old Hypnotic 3 recordings. i doubt that they've ever been released anywhere so i don't know where u'd find it. :confused3:

i think DaBrakes makes a very good point that I've never thought of using in a debate like this :werd: . if i didn't download, i'm tellin u i wouldnt even listen 2 most of the people that i do. the only way i got in2 JJFP waz by download. i waz like "man this Will Smith guy's Willennium album is pretty good, maybe i'll give a listen 2 some of his earlier stuff and see if i like it" and i did. if i never had downloading, it wasn't like there waz any other way 2 sneak preview any JJFP stuff so i wouldn't have taken the chance of wasting $ on albums that i might not like. it's the same way 4 every other artist i've come to like, since most of them aren't mainstream and on TV or radio, the only way i can know if i like their music is by downloading and seeing if i like what i hear. so yes, i do download, and i do feel a lil guilty about it, but in the end after i hear a dope album that i downloaded, it makes that guilt go away :music: and also, i'm not really buying the whole stripping artists of $. i know that downloading is morally wrong, but these artists are already millionaires and i'm sittin here spendin all my money on their album. i think they make enough money already and i'm broke enough that me downloading their album is enough. and besides, maybe if i like their album, i'll go out and buy the next one and i'll be a fan of theirs, instead of never taking the chance of downloading and never knowing whether i liked their music or not.

another sidenote: i listened 2 that mix last night and that version of He's The DJ, I'm the rapper is the same version that appears on the cassette and probably on the LP too.

i'd download it cuz i can't wait 2 hear. i don't really understand how it hurts my experience of hearing the album. i'm still gonna buy the album 4sho, believe me or not. i also don't understand how i'm ripping any1 off if i don't share the files and delete them after i've gotten the album. i don't think there's anything wrong with a sneak peek :thumb:
