  1. they played it again! heard it twice in one day! People in cali, get the word out by requesting it at their site! Even people outside of Cali!
  2. it's because smart people like Nas, Pac, Rakim, LL know better not to diss ppl b/c of what or how they rap. They don't diss ppl based on the number of cuss words ppl don't use. One thing though, U have to respect Game more than 50, b/c Game once said in a Vibe article that he respects ppl like LL, cuz he's a pioneer, and even though he doesn't cuss he's doin his own thing. I think Game owuld have the same mentality for Will, and not pick on ppl just cuz they do or don't cuss. BTW, have u heard that 50 might go after Ludacris now, cuz he's offended by Luda's "number One Spot" song? Heard it on the radio. 50 makin too many enemies now. The only ppl he has are now Yayo, Buck, Banks, Olivia, and Eminem. He's probably even alienated Dr. Dre now.
  3. i don't care if he cusses on this track or not. Eminem deserves the best ass whoopin from anyone. He needs to shut his black wannabe ass up.
  4. I heard it again today. For all of u in Cali, U can request it online. So hopefully they play it more and more ppl will hear it! http://www.thebeatla.com/Article.asp?id=44230 ^^^request it at least once a day!
  5. it didn't sound like 50 was doin much dissing. Otherwise he would have gone off on Will and said **** like he sucks, this and that. It was that idiot Yayo who's always high off crack anyways. Also, the interviewer was the one who sounded real dumb. He sounded jealous as hell. He's probably ugly, fat or super skinny with no game.
  6. i wouldn't buy it. Sorry. I know he has skills as a singer, but I'm not interested in him singing. The hook on Slow Jamz was enuff for me.
  7. Rapper WILL SMITH has urged female fans to stop asking him to sign their breasts - because such rude requests must devastate their boyfriends. The GETTIN' JIGGY WIT IT star - who's married to fellow singer and movie actress JADA PINKETT SMITH - hates putting pen to breast with the knowledge their helpless boyfriends are witnessing the event. And Smith has further encouraged his amorous followers to keep their assets inside their bras by insisting the attention-seeking act fails to excite him. He says, "Chicks asking you to sign their breasts is weird... to just pop out in a public place. Their boyfriend sees that I signed their t*tty. That seems strange to me." 03/03/2005 02:36 ---------------------------- LOL at this article
  8. Just 2 let ya'll know it's a HIPHOP station, not a pop station, and they played it in the mix. Hopefully, they'll play it more regularly. It sounds awesome with diff. instrumentals from other songs too!
  9. ^^^i totally see what you're saying. I was responding to the other guy harshly b/c he included in his post "He shoulda been dead like on the 2nd shot. " I don't respect ppl saying **** like he should have just died. It's just there's so much anti G-unit/Shady/Aftermath sentiment on these boards, that it automatically seems to me that people here don't care about a man's lifejust b/c of a petty thing like music. Like I stated before and I used Eminem as an example, I want him to disappear from rap music, but I would never wish death on him or to have him disappear from this world. If 50 said he doesn't care about his son, that's his ignorance and his loss. But I still wouldn't wish death on that man. You could wish for him to start failing in his career to deflate his ego. But u can't take a subject like death for granted or make it lightweight. It could happen to any of us anyday. If I say I wish death on 50, and then suddenly I lose my life, irony could bite u in the ass.
  10. Don't U think that's going a bit far? 50 choose the wrong path for his life overall. But who am I to say that? Probably should've just been a boxer. Would've been if it was drug dealing, then boxing; and not boxing, then drug dealing, the rapping. After all, Leonard is a fitting name for a boxer. :ali: or Curtis Jackson. U take your pick 50. :hilarious: It isn't that easy for people in the ghetto to just choose a life path. 50 may have never got his shine as a boxer. He didn't have the chance. And when you're in the ghetto drug dealing is so tempting, that it becomes a necessity more than a choice. I think 50 would have much rather done boxing than drug dealing. Just as many other kids in the projects would prefer sports, music, etc to drug dealing but they are born in that world. They can't do a thing about it.
  11. okay, i agreed with your first part, and most of it, then I read this. You don't care if he gets killed?? No matter how much I dislike Eminem, I would never wish death on him. For me, 50 isn't much better but I would never wish death on a man unless they were truly horrible people. And by horrible I mean murderers, rapists, etc. What has 50 done to you to make u not care about his death? What has he done to you besides make music you doesn't like to call him a waste. I think you mean a waste in rap. But i'd don't see him as a waste of a person. I disagree with his actions right now. I don't wanna see another Pac and Biggie feud. This is so similar to what was culminating in 95-96 before Pac died.Pac was doin almost the same thing as 50. Dissin his enemies and anyone affiliated. And back then, I'm pretty sure there were people who said he was better dead than noisy. Well, guess what happened? Pac died soon after. Now, I don't care much for G-Unit's music, but they too are people. And just because you don't like them, it is extremely naive and disrespectful for u to say he can die. It is extremely ignorant. Because they too have families. And even though they're not learning from the past and that history can repeat itself, you are in no postion to say u don't care about them getting killed or that 50 should have been. Just because you dislike their music (which is just an artform) they shouldn't have to die for such a simple thing.
  12. the funny thing is even people at the d12 website are lovin Will's freestyle. Even the Eminem fans are defending him and all that. News for anyone who cares: Game and 50 have major beef and they're both on NY stations airing each other out. Maybe a split in Shady-G-unit-Aftermath??
  13. okay guys ghostwriters are NEVER credited. If you are credited you are not a ghostwriter. People were saying Jay Z wrote "Still D.R.E" for Dr Dre and he wasn't credited or something. If that's true, that would be callled ghostwriting. You guys are getting the definition mixed up. Co-writers whose names are on the book are NOT ghostwriters. Got that? Good. Now tons of rappers get help with writing. Even the greats, Pac Biggie all got a little help here and there. Whether it's hooks or whatever. Will could've just gotten an idea for the Switch hook. Even if it's just an idea, the person who gave the idea needs to be credited or they might come back and sue u for taking their idea or something.
  14. ^^^ah thanks. I'm glad u understand what I'm tryin to say. BTW, i'm not attacking everyone, just some ppl who see "gangsta rap" as some evil form of rap. Some aren't necessary and all about style, but some actually have stories to tell.
  15. okay u have to attack him for liking Snoop, Nas, and Young Buck... god you're only gonna chase these new people away. Maybe he's a big Will Smith fan too... I think it's nice BTW. It looks good
  16. my last note was specifically towards ppl like you, but if u honestly think that Game and 50 are all about gangsta rap, u haven't given their albums a fair listen. Who are you a fan of in "mainstream music" BTW? Just wondering cuz I have some questions for u.
  17. The fact is most people think all rappers are gangsta rap. That includes Jay-Z, Pac, Biggie. Most people think Pac was the biggest gangsta rapper. Does Will still listen to Pac? Yes. He says he's a fan. Pac said himself that he wasn't a gangsta rapper. But most ppl saw him as that. Most people see 50 and G-Unit as gangsta rappers, and they do try to act like it, but they do show different sides of themselves in their music. With 50 he doesn't always talk about guns, girls, money. Although those may be the predominant themes of his music, Will has said that if u show another side of yourself like Jay-Z, he doesn't have a problem. Now if u take the Cash Money Millionaires whose song after song is all about money cars and girls, then Will wouldn't respect u one bit. But he did say it with his own mouth. Maybe ya'll don't know it cuz u live overseas and the channel I saw his interview was on BET. The thing is though, ppl here on this forum, and I hate to attack some of u guys again, seem to really believe that Will Smith likes what you like, listens only to what u listen to, and hate what u hate. U seem to think he only respects old school rap and nothing else. I'm not saying he was ever a fan of gangsta rap, but who is he working with now that was the king of gangsta rap back in the days?? Snoop Dogg. Who did he work with in the studio who is considered gangsta rap? Petey Pablo. Do u honestly think that Will hates gangsta rap so much, just cuz ya'll detest it? He even said gangsta rap is the purest story. More than any movie could tell. So take this please. Will HIMSELF has said he likes Jay-z, Pac, Biggie, Nas, Ludacris, and 50 cent. So take it or leave it, but don't just assume Will is supposed to represent the people only you like.
  18. he's definitely getting more love than LL Cool J did when he came out with the Definition. People were berating him bad.
  19. Will does think Luda has skills. He said so in an interview on BET. He likes his music too. I don't think Will just worked with Luda cuz he's popular. He gave him a chance at producing and I think Luda did the damn thing. Will deosn't hate who u all might hate. He deosn't care if ya'll don't like him. Will likes Jay Z, Luda, even 50cent so don't expect him to hate whoever you do. Plus on the Westwood show he specifically asked for Game's "how we do", that's sayin something right there.
  20. people on allhiphop are saying his freestyle is hot too. Just a heads up on what other people outside are thinkin
  21. one more thing, i gotta be completly honest, but i am not a big fan of Will's rapping. I love him more as an actor. I don't own any of his CD's except Big Willie Style, and I never had intentions on buying his other ones. However, hearing all 3 songs, Swith, and esp. Party Starter, and Pump ya Brakes, I'm sold on this CD. I'm no doubt lovin these songs, cuz they're new and different from what most people would expect from Will. He's grown a bit and his collaborations are interesting so I'm lookin forward to this one.
  22. it does sound like Luda a bit too. His style is definitely present on the track.
