Hey if times are hard........ :lolsign: :noooo: :noooo: :noooo: The way my particular agent does it is she runs a drama class. You have to attend regulary so that she sees you are of able ability and you won't make a fool of yourself at auditions. from here you are eligible to go on her casting catalogue. If you are not on here then you can't be put forward for auditions. She'll get a call from a casting director saying that they are for example looking for a handsome, black male, around 5' 10", smooth, funny type!!!! :lolsign: My agent will then look thru the catalogue and then out of all the people that match that criteria, she'll put them forward for the audition. But more often than not she can only send forward a certain amount of people. So it helps if you can work your way up into her favourites! :azzangel: And thats pretty much it! Different agencies may work differently but thats the way mine works!!

Yeah i heard about that on the radio! Some guy had to win tickets by battling another! they both mediocre but nonetheless something had to win!

Ha ha! She's nothing like Joey's agent!! Although that would be quite amusing!! The only work I'd probably get is gay porn and I don't think I'm ready to cross that boundary yet!!! I've auditioned for a whole host of things ranging from theatre productions, films (Layercake being one of them!), countless commercials and loads of TV series! At the end of the day its about wheter you are right for the part! Thankfully, I've been lucky with some of the parts that I've got as its been really good exposure **cough** socks!! I'm just waiting till I finish my degree then go straight back into it and hopefully make it big!! :yeah:
