Really? I think his presence on that remix waz better than his presence on most of the trax on B2R. He fits right in 2 me.

I'm not the only JJ+FP fan who waz down back then...there's a few others who have been following them since the early days. -
YO YO - Total Control (da album) (1996) I used 2 listen 2 this non-stop back in the day. It's been a few years. Man, this album is dope. Sunny West Coast G-Funk.

50 CENT BRINGS RAP 2 A NEW LOW
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Caught in the Middle
Back in the day, we had Kool Moe Dee posing on an album cover with his ride in the background, parked overtop a red kangol hate. That waz classic. Everyone knew he waz going at LL Cool J with that. But what wack rapper #1 is doing is just stupid. It looks like he had a 12 year old come up with a concept 4 the cover. Then again, wack rapper #1 does have the mindstate of a 12 year old. In my opinion, there's a big difference. -
Tupac & Scarface: Duet Album Coming
JumpinJack AJ replied to Turntable's topic in Caught in the Middle
"R U Still Down (Remember Me?)" is my favorite album released after his passed. Those trax are untouched 4 the most part. Most of the trax were also recorded during and around his best era...Me Against The World. The trax on that album are more laid back and less polished...in other words, perfect. Again, this album with Scarface is definitly a step back in the right direction. "Smile" is one of my favorite songs ever. Hopefully the album is an extention of that. Scarface also won't put crappy artists right next 2 his locked-away vocals. -

Tupac & Scarface: Duet Album Coming
JumpinJack AJ replied to Turntable's topic in Caught in the Middle
I actually wanna hear this. I think they actually did 2 songs while he waz alive. So at least this time around, they are putting 2gether and album with an artist who actually has skillz and waz actually cool with him back in the day. I'm not expecting the best...but it'll be light years ahead of Loyal 2 The Game with all that awful wack rapper #2 and G-Unit input. -

50 CENT BRINGS RAP 2 A NEW LOW
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Caught in the Middle
I remember when someone made the word "idiot" filter out as "knobjockey"...that annoyed me...cuz i'd never say "knobjockey."...ha ha -
It waz recorded during the era of Rock The House...but not with the sessions of all the album trax. The funny thing is that they definitly cut the lyrics in one take....cuz FP fumbles the last line. Instead of "'Cause we mix Hip-Hop with A Touch of Jazz," he actually says "'Cause we MISS Hip-Hop..." which cracks me up everytime.

50 CENT BRINGS RAP 2 A NEW LOW
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Caught in the Middle
Exactly. -
It's only 3 episodes. 3 episodes of filler and under-baked skits. The rest of cast hasn't even been in the new skits. It's a bunch of extras and celebs. They should have just released this stuff on DVD 4 the fans cuz it's no where near the level of the 1st 2 seasons. It's like The Jackson 5 without Michael...the heart and soul isn't there.
-
Ice Cube sending gift baskets...now that's being gangsta for the 2000's. Thanx 4 posting. I like seeing emcees/entertainers doing stuff like that...especially in these times where everyone is egotistical and cocky.
-
So i watched the 2nd "new" episode and i must say i'm disappointed. Don't get me wrong, Dave and the cast are truely talented and hilarous. These episodes make me laugh, but the heart and soul is missing. And it's not cuz Dave isn't there. U can tell that these skits were done early in the start of taping. They are just having fun and shooting random stuff hoping 2 find gold. But the quality of the show just isn't there. U can feel the power struggle and money issues of the new skits. These episodes just remind me of the over-doctored 2Pac songs. It's no longer about bringing material 2 the fans...it's about making money.

what happened to Laurence/Dana Goodman?
JumpinJack AJ replied to Hypestyle's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I'll have 2 dig it up...i got it somewhere. In the meantime, maybe someone can find the article about the lawsuit. But "Scary Story" is what he talks about in the article he did nearly 8 years b4 the song. -

50 CENT BRINGS RAP 2 A NEW LOW
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Caught in the Middle
I never start the topics on 50 Cent...i just reply 2 them...but with this one, i waz amazed at the new low he has reached so i wanted 2 share the article. I love Hip-Hop. And everything that he and his click record and do truely is awful. As a Hip-Hop head, i'm frustrated that this idiot can do what he does and ruin what mainstream music fans think of Hip-Hop and Rap. I want the faces of Rap and Hip-Hop 2 represent me...and G-Unit, Nelly, Eminem, Lil' Kim, Lil' Jon, Trina, Young Joc, and Ja-Rule simply don't do that. They don't even represent themselves. Their liars and sell-outs. That's where i'm comin' from and that why i can't stand that so many people few 50 Cent as "on top." I don't wanna make this turn in2 another post about about the state of Hip-Hop, cuz we've run those in2 the ground...but that's why i posted it. -
I'll have 2 update my list of stuff and post it. I know there's still a few things i'm missing. Alot of the truely unreleased stuff we don't have much info on. Here's a few from each era that come 2 mind.... BWS - Keep It Real (JJ+FP), I Just Wanna Blend (produced by Warren G), Sign Your Name (a love song 2 Jada)...there's also another Warren G produced track that waz done for BWS. There's the unreleased So So Def Remix of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" which is one of the best Hip-Hop remixes ever. WILLENNIUM - a Wyclef produced track and 2 collabos with Michael Jackson B2R - He recorded over twice the amount of material that made the album L+F - He waz activly working on the album since 2003. He had at least 40-some trax done 4 it.

Man, it's amazing 2 me how ignorant people and people with no taste in music can support a person like this. It took an incredible amount of stupidity...but 50 Cent has help Rap reach a new low. Check this article i got from AOL. The pic isn't even that funny...i'm sure someone can find it and post it. What makes this even better, is that Game's comment doesn't show anymore intellegence on his part. Idiots. --- 50 Cent Puts Nemesis The Game in a Thong Posted Jul 10th 2006 11:44AM by Jessica Robertson Filed under: Hip-Hop 50 Cent's feud with former G-Unit rapper The Game has gotten ugly . . . literally. On the cover of his latest mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid, titled 'G-Unit Radio Part 21: Hate It or Love It,' 50 pictured his Compton enemy wearing nothing but a thong As is if that weren't tantalizing enough, the effort -- which features rhymes by the usual suspects Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep and Young Buck -- includes Game's appearance on the dating show 'Change of Heart.' The Game responded to 50's antics during an L.A. performance at DJ Skee's Envy Expo on Saturday, telling the crowd, "G-Unit got a new mixtape out, got me dressed up like a stripper, it looked kinda cute. But, the motherf***in' Game don't do no stripping." Sure is hard out there for a G.

Wendy Williams is trash. She's a total waste of a life. She's like the Paris Hilton of black people...except she's more evil.
