Oh, and i 4got 2 say this. FP's acting IS amazing. It really takes 2 the tortured place that he is in the film. But i wouldn't say it's better than ALI or The Pursuit of Happyness.

Like most of the reviews...mine is gonna talk about specific things in the movie. So if u don't want anyt suprises or scenes revealed...dont' read my review. I gave the film a 7. 1st off, like Mike said, i'll agree with the "cinematically amazing" part. The look of the film is great. It's big. It's heavy. I have never been 2 New York, but those scenes of New York that are empty are some of the weirdest things i've ever scene. That's what they meant by shutting down New York...ha ha. Insane!! Every scene and set looks great. And all of the people complaining about the CGI stuff are idiots. The mutants look fine. I mean, the movie is about escapism. That's about as real as u can make characters like that look. Back 2 my 7 rating tho.' Some people will wonder why i gave it a rating this low. It's mostly just becuz of my personal tastes. I hate movies like this. I love a film where someone is challenged or faces adversity. But this movie makes me feel so bad my soul wants 2 die...ha ha. What can i say, i like feel-good movies. The way i waz relating 2 FP's character totally messed with me. Physically and mentally (i never see suspence/horror/thriller movies...at least not in movie theaters). Once the fighting and the action started, i waz good. But the places where it came outta no where...i hate that. Ha ha...i hate 2 jump. I did pretty good. I wasn't visually shook. For those of u who have known me for awhile, i'm insanely sensitive 2 animals and pets. For all of my personal pets, i get so attatched 2 them that i share a very close bond with them. And when a pet or any animal is hurt or dead, it upsets me ALOT. For those of u who read the Prayer Request post, i just posted something last nite about my dog not getting around so good which has bothered me alot. So 2 see the bond between Neville and Sam is something i could relate 2 all 2 well. Infact, it really hit home. So 2 see the scene with the dog fight, the aftermath, the infection, and the way 2 "stop the infection" totally screwed with me. Twisted my emotions 2 the point that started hating the movie (but don't worry...i didn't cry...ha ha). Just awful. I'm not familiar with the book that the movie is based off of, but the human interaction seemed a little light to me. I'm guessing that stuff isn't in the book...fill me in. Anyways, like everyone else so far, i think the last 10 minutes was a bit weak and rushed. From a movie stand point, i liked the story and the look. However, due 2 the fact that i don't like this kinda movie, this is literally one of my least fav movies from FP. I like Made In America, Six Degrees of Seperation, Bad Boys (1+2), Independence Day, Men In Black (1+2), Enemy of The State, Wild Wild West, The Legend of Bagger Vance, ALI, Sharktale, I, Robot, Hitch, and The Pursuit of Happyness all better than this movie....(does that mean Where The Day Takes You is the only movie i don't like more than I Am Legend?) Right now, i don't care 2 see another FP movie...just give me and album.

Here with another prayer request... My dog, who isn't really old or anything, has been acting kinda weird lately. Last night she had a hard time climbing the stairs before bed. I stayed up alot later than i should have making sure she waz okay. Eventually she just climbed them later, but not without appearing 2 be in pain. I'm sure she'll be okay and that this is something that will pass, but i'd love to have some prayers sent her way for healing. ...Thanx.

Wow! Amazing! If u are a real Hip-Hop head, u can just feel the vibe in that room that night when u watch this. This is like a breath of fresh air. Why isn't dope stuff like this getting mainstream success anymore. After seeing that video, it's amazing 2 see how any of the people on the radio are famous at all. Hip-Hop Lives!!

I tend 2 overlook reviews. I don't read them til after i see the movie. Why on earth do i care what some idiot who gets his stuff published actually thinks? I don't. And i'm not gonna go in2 a movie with what they said in mind. I'm not really in2 movies when it comes 2 scripts and stuff. I just care that it is entertaining...and we all know there are quite a few movies out there that are entertaining that aren't actually good. I respect a movie for good quality...but half the time i'm gonna choose a silly movie that i find more entertaining over a movie that's actually really good. I'll choose Bill + Ted's Excellent Adventure over The Departed any day. Who cares what these people say. I'm gonna see the movie 2morrow nite and THEN i'll read all this stuff.

DJ JAZZY JEFF + FRESH PRINCE FAN RULE BOOK: Rule #368 (Page 55) If u have never danced to "Apache" by The Sugarhill Gang (done in front of people or shamefully in a locked room all by yourself), u simply cannot be a JJ+FP fan. Yes, it is true, no fan has NOT done this dance at least once. I remember laughing so hard the 1st time they did that i couldn't copy them for about an hour. I did this dance in a puppet show for kids as one of the 3 actual actors in the show, in high school pep rallies, and at all 5 of he weddings i've been 2 in the past year.

That's funny. She really needs 2 let go of that bitterness. Bitterness will kill u in the end if u let it grab on 2 something deep down inside u. I doubt FP is holding on2 any bitterness, but the same goes for him if he is any in his heart. It's been over 10 years. Get over it...shake it off.

Life has gotten in the way. Things as my studio are insane. Between the crazy business, the people who have quit becuz they can't handle the volume of business, and lack of coverage, i have been working myself 2 death. I'm trying 2 get more sleep just so i can stand for 2 and half more weeks. Since i'm going 2 bed earlier, i don't get online as much or for as long since i usually do all my online stuff at nite.

Is it just me, or are the R-N-B nominations excellent or what? I'm impressed...infact i'm excited about them. The Rap ones suck. Common Sense deserves 2 win the ones he's nominated for. I mean, do any of those fools really deserve being considered?

Ha ha...i had the remix of "Witch Doctor" on my myspace a few weeks ago. I'm actually hyped for the movie. The trailor that i saw was pretty funny. I orignally wanted it 2 be an "all animated movie" like Sharktale but after seeing the trailor and hearing the music, think they might have done this right. I plan on seeing it early in the day and seeing I Am Legend later in the evening. The soundtrack was supposed 2 be out by now but i think it got bumped closer 2 the release of the movie.

Who wrote that...i'll kill him with my bare hands. :fencing:
