  1. I think it's stupid that they are planning a reboot just 4 years later. I feel that they should continue with what they started with Superman returns. The only lacking moments of the film were the focus on drama and emotion rather than action and him and Lois having a son. My idea, have someone kill their son which makes Brandon Routh's Superman so angry that serious butt gets kicked. 2 problems fixed with one story line, a franchised saved, great actors already in place, and more money guaranteed to be made. I could care less about having the Smallville actors do anything after the show ends. I watched it when it was new but have since lost interest. I have bought the first few seasons on DVD and look forward to watching them but I just want the world they created with Brandon Rouths Superman to come back. If they are gonna do a reboot, they should wait. Anyone else thing The Incredible Hulk was lacking due to the fact they that rebooted it only a few years after the previous movie?
  2. I don't know if I can afford this when it drops, but I'll be getting it at some point. Sounds good!
  3. I had no idea there were rumors of them fighting. In my eyes they are both B-level R-N-B artists. They both have great voices but only occasionally chose songs that show that...and stand the test of time due to choosing trendy production that will sound dated 3 years after it's release. Plus, I think Ciara is kinda corny when it comes to her perception of herself...as is some of her dancing. If u pop their names into YouTube you can find recordings of the video this article talks about. ----------------------------------------------- Keri Hilson and Ciara Squash Beef Ciara and Keri Hilson have finally called a truce to their alleged on-going beef. The Atlanta songbirds -- rumored to be add odds with one another thanks to a few subliminal lyrical jabs -- appeared in a taped video to say that there are no hard feelings. "Thank you guys for supporting us. Hopefully now our fans can support each other," Hilson said. "No more interviews about it. This is the last time we'll talk about it hopefully." Ciara also declared it time for the media to stop pressing at the suspected beef and move on to something more interesting. "Radio interviewers, there's nowhere you can really go with this, at least from my perspective. There's so many better things to talk about and the last thing I want to do is sit down talking about some drama." Tales of a possible feud began when Hilson supposedly took a few shots at CiCi in her 'Turnin Me On' remix. Although she later stated that the lyrics were not aimed at anyone in particular, that did little to quiet the rumormill. Earlier this year, it was reported that Hilson refused to perform New York's Power 105.1 Power Live concert after getting into a verbal altercation with Ciara, which she has also denied. When we spoke to Ciara about the disagreement last month, she insisted that she has no time to deal with Internet drama, but steered clear of announcing an official ceasefire. "In reference to the Keri situation, I'm so in a different space mentally I can't even bring myself to do that," she said. "It's not [important] to me. There's just so much stuff to get out of life than that. There's so much more for me to accomplish in my career. Personally, I've decided that it doesn't make sense to do that.'' Getting on good terms comes just in time as both ladies are prepping new releases. Keri's 'No Boys Allowed' will drop Nov. 30, while Ciara's 'Basic Instinct' hits stores Dec. 14.
  4. Ted, that is one of my favs!!! KATHARINE MCPHEE - Over It (self-titled) (2007) She's my current celeb crush again. It's pretty serious.
  5. GANG STARR + M.O.P. - 1/2 & 1/2 Blade Soundtrack (1998?)
  6. I'll agree with that. He work on It's Dark and Hell Is Hot was dope. I don't know of any of his other stuff that I like. I just know he's produced alot of stuff that's weak to me. The songs he produces for my favorite artists (DMX 2001 and on, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, etc) are typically my least favorite songs on their albums.
  7. MYA - Ridin' (2007) I love Mya. When is she comin' back. That mixtape she dropped simply isn't cutting it for me.
  8. I watched some of their debates and it made me laugh. I like a handful of people who were discussing who should be at the top. I don't take the commercial side of Hip-Hop/Rap serious at all when it comes to the last 10 years. Without saying things have already been said, emcees like FP, LL, Common Sense, have all released quality albums and even had success in it. Today's fans of popular music show that they do not require talent, skill, creativity, originality, etc in the music that mindlessly listen to. The list is garbage. I think Eminem has released 3 great albums in the past 10 years. However, more than half of that 10 years was spent being completely annoying, inconsistent, and making weak music. I love where he's at in his career right now but right now isn't the last 10 years. I also think Ludacris, who also isn't consistent in the quality of his music, has improved over the years. I could literally say that everyone else on that list has an annoying voice, isn't very lyrical (if at all) and usually have weak production. This list isn't Hip-Hop.
  9. Since I've been on an Eve kick and happy with the way she's grown as an artist, this is the 1st time I've been genuinely excited about an Eve album (tho' I've always liked her). I can't say I'm a fan of Swizz Beats, but everything else sounds really good.
  10. WILLOW SMITH - Whip My Hair (2010) http://www.vevo.com/watch/willow/whip-my-hair/USSM21001602 This video is getting love on AOL News. I'm posting it here for those (like myself) who don't check The Smith Kids message board too much.
  11. TOOTHPICK aka DOUG RAY - Scars For Entertainment Time Travelin' Couch (2005) Yeah, "Dilemma" is dope. When i hear that song I instantly get taken back to Summer 2002. The production is perfect, Kelly Rowland is perfect, and Nelly isn't using an obnoxious dirty south, fake-thug persona. It's easily one of his best. I'm not a big Nelly fan. I can probably fit all the songs I like by him on one CD, but he turned out a classic with this one.
  12. I saw "Kel Spencer" on the wall in the Full Clip video ages ago and asked Kel about it. He said he was cool with Gang Starr so it's likely that they did put there as a shout out 2 him. Since he is cool with Gang Starr, I've always wondered whey they never did anything.
  13. The Encore performance is starting RIGHT NOW for those who wanna watch it on BET in the US.
  14. R. KELLY - If I Could Turn Back The Hands of Time The R. (1998) I've always thought this was one of R-N-B's greatest songs and most beautiful videos ever. And yeah, I've recently been on an Eve kick. I've like alot of her music but was never that into her. I watched her VH-1 Behind the Music recently and got into her more than ever.
  15. I don't think this song (Cee-Lo's song) is as amazing as everyone is making it out to be. You added your touch 2 it in the nice way. I also like that your went with the clean version. I think it better fit your style and since everyone else listens 2 the explicit version, it makes this version more interesting 2 those who are big fans of the song. As always, nice work.
  16. BRITT NICOLE - Hangin' On The Lost Get Found (2009) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOydvFtii_8
  17. EVE + GWEN STEFANI - Let Me Blow Ya Mind Scorpion (2001)
  18. I never liked T.I. I never understood why people who aren't just commercial rap fans liked him. I think his dirty south flow is annoying. From what I heard, he actually does have subject matter to his songs, which is good but ultimately I've never liked his music. I hope he gets his life together. I must say I miss the Tiny of Xscape vs. T.I.'s Tiny. Back in the 90's she was sweet, talented, cute, etc...now she's transformed into this ugly ghetto-mess. She she gets honest in interviews I see traces of there but otherwise she's like a whole other person.
  19. I think that's JT's worst song. I like Justified alot more than his last album. EMINEM - It's Okay Infinite (1997) Eminem's best song? Maybe. Probably.
  20. I think it's silly that he cusses as much as he does in his music when he doesn't cuss around the house. I think he should make more room for the lyricists that he is (again) in his music by taking out the cussing...at least the unnecessary cussing (which is still most of it). I think O'Reilly is an idiot. He isn't saying anything important here. He certainly doesn't have any room to talk about anyone cussing. 3 words..."Do it live." I forgive Eminem for the near-decade of crap music he was making. He's back on point. His lyrics are creative, funny, relevant, and with more variety. His production is better. His performances are great. Eminem is actually doing good things for Hip-Hop right now so I'm not gonna knock him even tho' I would prefer further changes in his music. While we are on topic tho'...I think it's awful that he chose the worst song off his album as the next single. I hope it doesn't do much and that he follows it up quickly with a new single/video.
  21. Yeah, this story is amazing. When I 1st saw this news I was happy to see real miracles at work in a big way.
  22. Yeah, Bobby Valentino and the production on that song are good. I wouldn't mind getting a TV Track to that that was just Bobby's vocals over that beat...cuz there are no redeeming qualities to Lil' Wayne. BLACK EYED PEAS + DE LA SOUL - Cali To New York Bridging The Gap (2000)
  23. This is totally not my taste...at all. But the concept is definitely creative. I was laughing at the way the lines from the show were turned into lyrics.
