Don't read too much into the IMDB info. Their information on movies not yet made is a lot like other movie sites - it's based on rumors. That movie with Ben Affleck has been rumored about for months. The only real info is that the Chris Gardener(sp?) project is still on.

I really like the laid-back flow of Pump Ya Breaks. I really didn't know what to think when I heard Snoop was on the album but Snoop has mellowed out over the years so it's all good. Off the subject for a little bit, check out Snoop's new single Signs with Justin Timberlake. It's hot for real. Party Starter is the type of track you play at the club and people will just get to throwing 'bows in the club. It's that good. I'm really excited to hear the rest of the album. :thumb:

Will Smith's new romantic comedy hit, Hitch, will hit the $100 million mark on Thursday. Hitch will become one of the fastest movies to gross $100 million dollars. It will surpass the $100 million mark in just 14 days. :thumb: :switch:

I think this may be a case where Switch is playing well overseas but not as well in the U.S. Here in Chicago I have heard Switch on the radio just twice. I'll admit that I don't listen to radio a lot but when I do listen all I hear is 50 Cent, G-Unit and Em. There are 2 "hip-hop/R&B" stations and neither one has played Switch yet. The only place I've heard Switch is on the "pop" station. I've only seen the video 3 times(twice when he premiered it on MTV & BET). It may end up being a case where it starts out real slow but picks up steam all of a sudden. That's how Big Willie Style started. It premiered at 98 on the Billboard Charts and then slipped to 104 the next week. All of sudden Gettin' Jiggy Wit It took off and BWS became a monster. I'm hoping Lost & Found will follow that script.

At first, I thought Eva was just o.k. But she has grown on me. She is hot but I agree with AJ on the Salma Hayek & Gabrielle Union. Damn, Will has gotten the chance to kiss all three of them. DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!! :lolsign:

At first, I thought Will was going a little too far but then I got to thinking that there are a lot of cats making a little too much of this issue with Will and Eva kissing each other everywhere. The only place we've seen them kiss is at premieres and press conferences. It would be different if they were caught at some restaurant by themselves. Personally, I envy Will. This dude has gotten the chance to lock lips with some of the hottest women in Hollywood(Vivica Fox, Nia Long, Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union and Eva Mendes to name a few) and to top it off, he goes home to Jada. It really doesn't get any better than that. We also have to remember that Will & Jada's relationship is a unique one. Neither party is jealous of the other. Maybe Will and Jada talked about it before hand and Jada gave Will the o.k. on kissing Eva. Will & Jada love each other very much and maybe their relationship has that kind of honesty and openess. Lastly, it's really none of our business what they do. These are grown *** folks. :lolsign:

That's cool. I'm also happy to see KISS-FM in Chicago is second in terms of airplay. It seems to be the only station in Chicago to play Switch. There are 2 "urban" stations that play nonsense like 50, G-Unit, etc. I haven't heard Switch here in Chicago on the radion yet. At least one station is playing it on a regular basis.

Romantic comedies usually don't generate really, huge numbers. There have been exceptions to this rule(When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle). Romantic comedies usually top out around $100 million so here's my prediction: Opening Weekend: $23.4 million Total U.S. gross: $101.4 million

Will Smith's new movie "Hitch" is getting some pretty good buzz. As of 2/9/05 the romantic comedy starring the Oscar-nominated actor, Eva Mendes and "King of Queens" star Kevin James is receiving an 80% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Hey WillJadaFan, Are you from Chicago? I'm from the CHI and I read that article as well. It was in Stella Foster's column. She is sort of a gossip columnist but the Will thing is true though.

Jeff was one of the people who talked about things that happened during the year 1990 on VH1's I Love The '90s Part Deux. They also had a segment devoted to the FPOBA. Jeff also spoke on the Mike Tyson/Buster Douglas fight and Paula Abdul's video "Opposites Attract.". During the Tyson/Douglas segment, the music in the background was JJFP's "I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson." I'm sure they'll show this episode again so check VH1 to see when it comes on again. :rock:

I've read this interview someplace else. I believe it to be legit. At any rate, I'm not going to boycott Will or any other star I like because he/she may make comments that I may not agree with. Will has a right to make to voice his opinion on world events. I don't think Will is anti-American. I think people who try to silence people's opinion's, whether they agree with them or not, are un-American. For the record, I have no opinion about Will's comments.

I don't think that people hate him. I think there are some people who find his lyrics abrasive and/or offensive. I don't think he's wack it's just that his lyrical content does nothing for me(and I would imagine it's the same for several people on this board). It's the same with Em. I think he's a good rapper but it's his lyrics that are garbage to me. The whole mainstream style of rapping is about money, h***, cars, etc. There aren't storytellers like Slick Rick, FP, Rakim and others. That's just my opinion.... I could be wrong.

Since I'm not a fan of either Usher or Ludacris, it really wouldn't matter to me. On the surface it seems like a bad idea. I definitely won't be picking up the album. :nono:
