yep i ordered his albums from amazon with sum credit i had.. havent listened to exit properly yet..stuck on the latest at the moment.. its a nice mix of rap..and singing..and live instrumentation..exactly the kind of stuff i like :wiggle:

i know the magnificent shipped 200, 000 worldwide which is pretty good for an independant album.. i dont know the figures but if i was to guess id say the magnificent sold 30, 000 in the US but you never know the distribution was pretty bad over there

and while I'm in this predicting mood im gonna go out on a limb and say that this week lost and found will sell MORE than what it did last week :wiggle:

the "digital tracks" chart is based on sales of digital tracks from itunes etc.. the digital songs chart, is based on downloads on the internet its done be neilson(same guys who do tv ratings) and they track how much a songs being downloaded..but not bought..from what i can gather.. now i predict switch will reach its highest position on the US charts next week..

wow uk singles sales have dropped..300, 000 is gold and looks like it wont make that..but i think it can get to 3 :thumb:

AJ you need to check the latest sales figures.. I've been following em closely the last 6 months..and not many artists are going gold..cd sales are on the decline.. a big artist with a few hit singles is selling 1.5 to 2 million.. even eminem years ago he was sellin 10 million his last album only sold 4 million... as bigted said LL Cool J's last album sold 600, 000 so thats the first goal i have for lost and found to reach something around that.. you cant say gold is a failure especially when Wills last album sold just 230, 000 this is a good comeback from him..give him props! :dancingcool:

The question is "where is it rising?" It's not rising in the US by any significant measure anymore. All this milking of Switch doesn't seem to be helping album sales either. :speechless: maxfly did you check the mediabase link? they track the amount of spins switch gets.. I'll tell you this now.. look for switch to rise once gain on the billboard hot 100 this week and the next! last week switch moved up 3 spots on radio play..but dropped 3 spots on the digital music chart..so it stayed at 17.. this week it has gained abt 4 spots on radio so far.. and has actually risen on itunes.. so switch is comin again i tell you! ive also been lookin at a lot of these charts from radio stations and they all have switch rising .. im lookin forward to this weeks singles charts in a couple of days its gonna be interestin...

well the music industry is changing once again.. back in the early 90s if you went gold that was a real achievement.. in the late 90s you had to go multi-platinum.. gold meant nothin.. now in 2005 with downloading of music etc going gold is once again acceptable and sumthin 2 aim for.. only 4 or 5 artists will sell millions in a few weeks out of 1000s of releases... if lost and found goes gold that will be a solid achivement..and is gonna encourage Will to release another album..sooner rather than later
