March 29, 2006 (9:43 p.m. - 10:07 p.m.) © 2006 I'm tryna figure, how I'm a mass to reach the margin Bein' a poor college student, makes me want the knowledge pardoned but it can't be, in a society based on status levels Rich lifestyles for the greedy, poverty for the rebels and those that shake off regulations of America's legion Go to sleep to find dreams and, it's a nightmare ya receivin' It took awhile to see the dividends between me and my friends Learn stuff everyday, and my mind expands Not all good, but not all bad either Can't protect me from this world with rubbers like when you love her or at the bottom of ya sneakers I'm a high set goal achiver, but couldn't tell you if I reach 'em cuz there's never a satisfaction, I know I won't see one I'm receivin' AES letters, loaners that won't let me forget 'em but little to their care and knowledge, I always stress 'em Wonder where my next bit of cash is comin' from It's like I'm hopin' for two, but I'm shootin' the one and one Sat the bench all year, knew I had some, but feelin that I got no skills Buggin' by my teammates, but they don't know that words can still kill On the real, I need to take this chance standin' instead of losin' to this standard of life that's got me for ransom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
