sonic1988 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Share Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) here in NYC we are getting hit with a giant blizzard!!as I write this it is insane I went out sledding but it was way to cold to stay ot for long in greenwhich village there was actually lightning and thunder!!!!!!!!! for anyone who got hit with this blizzard what are your totals?? here in Staten Island it is forecast to be 12 to 16 inches!!!!!!! the first time since 1996!!!!!! Me and my girlfriend aren't talking and the last thing i wanna do is be stuck in the house. We got snow here, but it's nothing we haven't seen b4. However, my area reacted 2 it by a bunch of idiots. Nearly everything waz closed. Me and my friend went 2 see that new Ice Cube movie Are We There Yet? but the theater waz closed. For some reason they hardly cleared off the roads and the next 2 days are my days off. Hopefully no more snow is on the way cuz i can't spend these next few days in doors. bigted Posted January 23, 2005 Report Share Posted January 23, 2005 I think we only have about 4 inches here in Seaside, NJ, it's more like old man winter 2 years later(remember the blizzard of 2003?) I remember we got over 10 inches of snow in February 2003, they closed school for a whole week, that's why I graduated towards the end of June of 2003 instead of the middle, hopefully this storm ain't that bad 'cause I don't wanna lose money from not going to work, they closed where I worked yesterday early so I didn't have to go in, it's good for one day, but I don't wanna lose a whole week without pay! :bang: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
