the lyrics are so changed now, as it the song title
its now called "Where i Stand" pena brought up the point that having the first song called introduction isnt that original, and on top of that, this new name basically says the same thing as introduction, but the song name ties in with the last line which regards to the album
heres the update
“Where I Stand”
Written by Mike Petrow (Concept)
Introduction to the album how I start off my game
I’ll distinguish good lyrics from the ones that are lame
Listen to your gangster rap **** and your crunk
Good rappers have a message, don’t write about junk
You might be a little confused like a strange dream
Or love me like I’m mainstream
Think like the same team
But it flows and it goes
And my work all shows
And there’s a message inside that most people don’t know
I can’t be taken seriously
Cause I didn’t grow in an urban location
Matters who keeps it real, that’s how you tell who’s fakin
Even my friends doubt me man, I’ve had enough
At least I don’t rap pissed and front like im tuff
Why should I promote cold hate, sex and fear?
Each rot the earth, God sheds a tear
Teen girls need cash and whore for a buck
To guys with wives, I say what the ****?
Adults of the world sit back gaspin
He’s only sixteen, yet he is rappin
He curse in his rhymes too, how can this happen?
Weird, he spoke the truth how can he know?
Easy, im blind with the cane, but I see all
I understand the world, and its downfall
When I spit it spray, if you get what I say
No stutter or pause I don’t need the delay
I got no gimmicks other than my rhythm and skill
And just tryin to spit **** that all y’all can feel
If you like my rhymes, then go out and buy it
I offer my rhymes like a drug, tell your friends to try it
One time won’t kill you, inject it right in your vein
And the feeling you get is damn insane
Lyrics go to your brain, you’ll understand if you’re smart
And on the way up their they’ll hit your heart
I take no shots, you won’t hear the sound
That’s why I stand upon neutral ground
its amazing comparing the two and how ive grown as a lyracist
