AJ - I've been listening to this album non-stop the past 2 days at work on Spotify. Holy crap man....I'm really enjoying this album. I admit, I had my doubts when I heard the sampler but there's such a balance he displays from the old-school and new. It really is a breathe of fresh air. You know what sucks though - its getting some bad reviews so far. People are tripping - how could you listen to an album once and give it a reivew?! Ridiculous.

I love how this JJFP facebook page is really taking off. I think the quotes/lyrics is the route to go. Great stuff all around! I did some Photoshop work back in 04/05 when Will was about to drop L+F. Some of the old-timers here might remember these ..lol You can use these if you want, not quite my best work but its still pretty cool.

Jeff seems to be tight-lipped about it, it seems like whenever Will's doing music, it's kept very secretive. Hmmm...we can only hope for the best! Thanks Ale!

I like the concept of using Google Hangout and the topic of discussion is great but honestly, this doesn't interest me at all. Hopefully, there will be a FAQ session and perhaps someone will ask him if he's doing any music.

Wow great stuff! Jazzy Jeff & Black Thought reminded me of the "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" track off the Hes the Dj, I'm the Rapper album. I believe thats the same sample used. That video was the ESSENCE of rap right there. Loved it. The BET interview was also really good. I've often wondered what Jeff thought about the whole Aunt Viv situation. It's funny about how Starter is coming back too. I noticed over the past year during highlights of NBA games that the Starter logo is being advertised again. Wow - incredible. All the other interview were awesome, thanks for this compiled list Tim!

This was great - so true at what Jeff was saying in the beginning about the younger generation. Interesting how he lost his laptop, I remember seeing tweets about that when it happened, great job on Darnell's end to take care of it right away. I can't even imagine. I think that maybe Steve should carry a backup Macbook just incase with an exact mirror image of Jeff's main system God forbid something like this happens again.

oh man you just beat me to post this! This was pretty good and eye opening in the sense that I'm starting to see how hard it is for Will to rap while doing movies and balance everything. Sway asked "..is it time for Will to stop rapping?" - it shouldve been .."is he ever going to do music again?" lol...Jeff's answer was right on though about how the music industry tries to tell you that you're done rapping. Remember how Columbia/Sony dropped Will in early 2003? Well - in 2005, Will came back better than ever on the mic. "As long as you got fans, do what you do...." - Jazzy Jeff. Come on Will - get back in the booth with Jeff!

This was an awesome episode. We got a taste of some in-studio footage too. The best part of all, without a doubt was playing for the troops. That was very cool and touching to see. It was real nice of them to show them love and a real good, memorable time.

I agree. I still check out the board everyday - it's been a part of my daily online routine since 2002....lol It has been a little quiet lately though, I'm sure it'll pick up again soon. The board goes through peaks and valleys all the time.

OMG! Whoaaaaa - NOW THATS HOW AN INTERVIEW IS DONE! That was an unbelievable read...I loved every sentence of that, its so interesting to me that I feel like I could just listen to Jeff tell stories and talk about his career all day. That interview is for the diehards like us ..lol

Now this is an interview! I'm with Brakes here, I love the non-typical questions. I wish that interview was so much longer because I was just hooked right from the start. It was great that the one interviewer was a "JJFP geek" like us all and made a great point about how JJFP were reaching out to him when he was on the bus but at that time, they didn't really know how far and who exactly they were reaching out too. It reminded me of us here on the board how we all come from different places around the globe yet Jeff and Will have reached us and they probably didn't know until they saw this website. Great stuff, seriously, one of the best interviews with Jeff I've ever seen. I almost felt like I was the interviewer because these are real questions I would ask Jeff. Thanks Nicole!

That's some great footage! The music was so much better back then. I really wonder what it would be like if I was my age now back in the late 80s when hip-hop was really coming alive. It was just about having fun!

Another great episode! The cool thing about the Jeff and his team is they're all characters and are pretty funny and entertaining. Thanks Nicole! I have an idea I'd like to throw out there - perhaps maybe in the future Jeff can shoot an episode of Vinyl Destination from his home basement studio and give us a behind the scenes tour. I'd love to see like a studio walk around and a look at the plaques on the wall. Maybe even show some never before seen footage of JJ+FP in the studio or on tour...etc. That'd be a huge treat for us die-hards :) Thanks again!
