I havent heard that track but the Slick Rick sample was used pretty semi recently in Kelis and Andre 3000's Millionaire. Are you on more about the music than a vocal sample though.

Generally was a good night. Got to meet Brakes which was awesome (cheers again for the lift home dude). Jeff's set was a short one as he was running a tad late (nothing new there then lol), and had to finish at 1am and immediately go to catch a flight. We didn't get to speak to him this time round but shared words with Darnell and Skillz which was cool. Apparently they are back in a couple of weeks for some festival dates. We also got to hear what we were guessing was the new remix of summertime. Its pretty slick with new beats and remastered sounds from the original. Gives it a modern feel without taking too much away from the original, you'll enjoy it i think. Good night overall, and Jeff's set was solid as always, just a shame they all had to shoot off in such a hurry.

cool. Last time i spoke to Jeff he said he'd be back in the fall. This Bedford one is abit Random really cos i dunno if he's doing any other shows. We'll have to get some cool photos for the forum tonight

So yeh tonight will be the 3rd time in just over as many months i'll be seen Jeff in concert. Everyone should really put the effort in to get to one of his shows sometime, i know its obviously easier for us, but for example tonight i'll be waiting for 3 hours after the club closes for a train back home. All worth it, and atleast its August. Good to get a JJFP.com connection happening to as Brakes will be there too. Well we are saying we don't hate it. So it probably means it'll be a decent hit, and Omarion is on board so that is good for a push for K.Smith. But if this hinders Will Smiths rep as now being known as a 2nd generation artist then i'll be highly dissapointed. K.Smith has a huge shadow to fill though by anyones book

Producing is a strange one. I don't think in a lot of cases you need to be that talented to be one. Just good with money. Maybe Direction in films could be an option for him.
