Bomba Estéreo, Will Smith - Fiesta (Remix)[Cover Audio]
Schnazz replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Watching him come out with the hoodie up reminded me of the video for mama said knock you out, don't call it a come back. -
I love Code Red, easily my favorite all time album and I still play it regularly. For me it's a fall album, it totally captures American Thanksgiving. Every fall I put it on and listen to it like made as I watch the seasons change and reminisce. Good times. I'm with Tim on this, I must have listened to this 10,000+ times as well.

Jazzy Jeff Talks new album with Will Smith
Schnazz replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Man, that was great to read. I know a lot of people on the board have talked about how you never stop being an artist and more music will come, but it's great to hear Jeff saying that. It gives me hope that this album will be a collab and that there will be more in the future.- 24 replies

Bomba Estéreo, Will Smith - Fiesta (Remix)[Cover Audio]
Schnazz replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Whoa, new music! I can't believe its' happening! I'm enjoying this track, though I'm not much of an EDM fan. I can't wait to see what the announcement is about tomorrow, come on new album! -
An interesting look at how song popularity changes with time, how hits don't remain hits decades later, but other songs rise in popularity, with a lot of focus on the 90's. It uses Spotify data to measure current popularity. Spoiler, it looks like Getten' Jiggy Wit It is in the top 15 for pre-2000 rap songs. http://poly-graph.co/timeless/index.html

Jeff and Rizzle Kicks - Summertime remake
Schnazz replied to Da Brakes's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I loved that! The video really made the song for me. I generally like Rizzle Kicks, it's great to see them doing this. -

Will Smith Performs 'Summertime' On 'Ellen'
Schnazz replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
His flow sounds a lot better than it did a few years ago. -
Whoa, he was writing? That's fantastic! And he said that Kanye's trying to get him to record this year. That sounds promising.

That was fanTAStic!

Nas is doing an AMA at reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/Music/comments/233t3x/i_am_nas_amaa/ He was asked about ghost writing (it's the top question currently) "How did you end up (allegedly) ghostwriting for Will Smith? Edit: The song getting jiggy wit it." "Alright, let's clear this up once and for all. I hung out with Will in the studio. And watched him write it. It was a fun studio session, and I said a line or two or three to him. It wasn't that serious. Will Smith wrote that song. But seriously, I watched him have fun making that record on his own, and Will is a true MC."

Wow, that was amazing. Here's a link that seems to be working now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwlNbLdP7fo

Wow, that was pretty good! I could see listening to that regularly.

I'm loving it. The beat isn't for me but man, the flow is insane! I really am loving Berzerk as well, all the nods to old-school rap in the lyrics and video is just fantastic, and the beat is just fantastic. I've given Survival one listen and it didn't really take for me, maybe I just need some more listens though. I'm really excited for this album. Eminem feels like he's back to his old lyrical self. So may plays on words that I feel like he lost in his last few albums (like "starting from scratch" and "why be a king when you can be god"). He also seems to have lightened up a bit on these tracks. I mean, by Eminem's standards. He still's on the attack but there's also jokes in stead of just line after line of murder.

I just watched the movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I went into it expecting to be bored based on the 11% rotten tomatoes rating, but I was engaged the entire way through. I liked it way better than a lot of Will Smith's other films, like MIB 2 and 3. Maybe it's because I thoroughly enjoy sci-fi movies and father-son movies, but I'm amazed by how wrong the reviews were. I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10. I also didn't see any Scientology in it either. I was curious about that so I dug around to see what I missed. Apparently a few critics cried Scientology but actual experts (ones critical of Scientology) said that the movie was in no way a promotion tool for Scientology, it was missing many key tenants and anything that did seem similar to Scientology is common to most sci-fi movies. I read through some of the critics complains and one of the things they brought up was the fact that there's a volcano in the movie and a volcano on some of the editions of a Scientology book. That seems like an amazingly flimsy complaint.

Wow, that's just strange to see.

To the Americans - what up with this law?
Schnazz replied to Simon Lerkot Berglind's topic in Caught in the Middle
I've never seen it discussed on the news. Though I didn't read "informed consent" the same way you read it. To me "informed consent" means you must tell me that you're testing the chemical agents on me and I acknowledge and agree to it. What is it about this law that seems controversial to you? To me it just says we can't test chemical weapons unless they're cures for something or we're using it for police (I'm assuming that part is for tear gas). -
Hahaha, that was fantastic. I'm with AJ, I think you made the autotune cry during the first half, but your rap was pretty good. I loved the whole concept though, it was great.

Congrats man, that's great!
