We all know I skipped straight to that 4:44 mark. I really don't want FP collaborating with this common commercial rap people. I don't care how long it's been since we heard new music. 50's had a moment or 2 where he shows us what he's capable of...but the chances of them collaborating and it being relevant isn't something I'm holding my breath for.

2 TOO MANY - FRESH PRINCE'S EARLY '90'S GROUP
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I just think they didn't receive proper promotion. The music was dope and fell right in line with a lot of sucessfull Hip-Hop at the time. I was bit into music at the time and I never knew about the group. It wasn't until Tim found out about them years later and brought them to my attention. -
2 TOO MANY - FRESH PRINCE'S EARLY '90'S GROUP
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I'm lucky, I actually found a CD promo of "Where's The Party." It has a shorter/radio cut of Jazzy's remix, plus the full/extended version as well as the instrumental. Also the regular/album version. There were many new groups that came out out around this time College Boyz, UMC's, MC Brains, 2 In A Room, Joe Public who at least were one hit wonders at the time. -
I think I'll enjoy it more the 2nd time around. By the way, did anyone notice Howard Stern walking through MIB headquarters in one of the scenes? LOL

Yeah, I swear Jazzy's remix was on YouTube at some point. I can't find it now tho.' Here's a link to the album if anyone wants to buy it. I find it funny that Amazon is selling brand new copies of it for over $20. Thank God for the used ones available...LOL. I haven't listened to the album in a long time so I'm being reminded how good this group was. -

A few joints on the album were produced by Hula + K. Fingers from Summertime, Dog Is A Dog, Shadow Dreams, Just Kickin' It This is two of them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99IUDvzHXpw This one is straight up on the New Jack Swing tip...Love it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJtIKSfH5rQ -
I figure it's been awhile since we've discussed 2 Too Many and there's probably a handful of people on this board who aren't aware of them. 2 Too Many was a group that the Fresh Prince signed to him imprint WilJam back in the early 90's (through Jive Records). Basically, if you love JJ+FP/Homebase/LL Cool J/Heavy D + The Boyz or 90's Hip-Hop, you are going to like this group. Their album is so dope and I can't believe they didn' blow up. Anyways, here's their first single/music video that has a Fresh Prince cameo. He also co-wrote it. Give it a listen and you can here classic FP lryics being spit by the guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNqF3sQejXc&feature=related FP also co-wrote their next single which was "My Imagination." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VVEBAcFzuc Lil' Troy aka Troy Carter is now actually Lady Gaga's manager. I think Tim told me a few years ago that one of them did something with the 'Prince.

I think it's better than the second movie but I think the 2nd movie was funnier. I usually see FP's movies at least twice in theaters. The last 3 I haven't but Bad Boys, ID4, MIB, and BB3 I saw at least 3 times in the theaters. I saw BB3 in theaters 3 times during opening week...LOL.

I really liked the movie! This one focused more on story rather than comedy and action. While some moments moved a little slower than others, they kept the story moving. I would liked to have seen a little more action and comedy, but I"m still satisfied. I liked that they kept some of the quirky comedy but I don't think they had enough mainstream comedy to balance it out. I think all of the characters were great. I was upset that Frank the Pug wasn't in it. I understand that the dog must have passed on but I felt that the character should have been their played by another dog. I also wanted to Jeebs (who runs the pawn shop. He had about one second of screen time and I couldn't tell if it was the same actor or if it was a lookalike. I also wanted to see the guy who played the morgue guy/sci-fi nerd (I can't remember his name...the guy that plays Ian in the Chipmunks movies). The villian was kinda interesting to me but I really liked the Griff character. That guy was just on his game the entire time. The visuals were great and MIBisms made things feel like home. The ending was GREAT. To be honest, I saw something like that coming based on the little reference made earlier in the movie. I was interested in how the pieces were going to come together on that. I didn't dislike MIIB (or WWW) and I would like to see them come up with strong scripts in the future and return to it time and time again (as long as its good). NO REBOOTS!! As far as Fresh Prince movies (1995+), I like it better than Hancock and MIIB...and I will see this in theaters again. I"ve never seen a movie in 3D because the whole thing seemed lame to me. I might give it a try with MIB3.

Will Smith's Private Friends Concert in Monte Carlo

...the emcee at work. -
I was thinking the same thing. I guess to pop culture, for AOL's attempt to maximize attention with MIB3 out, they wanted to compile things that white folks 18 and under or 50 and older might find "awkward"...LOL.
-
It IS on that list...lol. If u click the link, it has video of all these moments. I don't think any of them are that awkward tho.'

Check ou this article from AOL...it's a lil' silly. http://news.moviefone.com/2012/05/22/will-smith-most-awkward-moments_n_1536395.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl2%7Csec1_lnk2%26pLid%3D164633 Will Smith's Strangest Moments: Guest Starring On 'Blossom,' Eating Sushi And Getting Slimed Posted: 05/24/2012 12:30 pm Updated: 05/24/2012 12:30 pm Follow: Video, Will Smith, Will Smith Slap, Slideexpand, Will Smith Abc After School Special, Will Smith Awkward Moments, Will Smith Blossom, Will Smith Fresh Prince, Will Smith Japanese Game Show, Will Smith Slaps Reporter, Moviefone News Last week, at the Moscow premiere of "Men in Black 3," a red-carpet reporter tried to kiss Will Smith. In return, Smith gave the man a nice little slap on the face. A week later, the actor was on "Letterman," where he -- in typically smooth Will Smith fashion -- joked about the situation. "It was just awkward, Dave... They were like, 'Oh, no, we’re sorry, you know. It’s just his 'schtick,' you know. And I said, 'Well, that’s why his a** got schtuck.'" Yes, only Will could completely diffuse a journalist-slapping incident. To paraphrase his character from the first "Men in Black" movie, Smith can make anything look good. Since 1985, he's seamlessly moved from rap star to TV star to movie star, without breaking a sweat. Now one of the most bankable celebrities on the planet, Will Smith is synonymous with smooth -- at least when it comes to the stuff mainstream audiences know about. Unfortunately, having been in the business for almost three decades, Will's managed to rack up a variety of very un-Will Smith moments. From slurping down sushi on a Japanese game show to rapping about cross-dressers to playing video games with Bill Gates, the actor's done his fair share of the unexpected, strange and downright bizarre. With "Men in Black 3" opening this weekend, let's take a look back at some of Will Smith's most surprising moments. Loading... Will Smith Eats Sushi That time Will Smith destroyed a plate of sushi on a Japanese game show. (Head to the three-minute mark to wach him slurp up a gigantic piece of shrimp!) Give credit to Will, who does a pretty good job of having a conversation with a group of people who don't speak his language. Will Smith Raps About Crossdressers Actual lyrics from the 1989 track from DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince: "She was about five foot six or maybe six and a half // With a body like a goddess, man, this girl was bad! ... // Anyway from behind she was fine // But when she turned around, her mustache was bigger than mine // At first I laughed, cause yo, to me that was funny // But the laughter ceased when she said hey [in a male voice] Honey // At first I was confused, I was somewhat spell-bound // My mouth wide open and my chin on the ground // And then it hit me, like a bolt from the sky // I thought: hold up - wait - this girl is a guy" Will Smith Races Bill Gates, Beck and Weird Al How did they ever get Bill Gates to agree to this? Will Smith Gets Food Allergies Smith may be considered a "date doctor" in the 2005 comedy, "Hitch," but that didn't stop his character from having an allergic reaction, thereby destroying his beautiful movie star looks. Not even Will Smith can make allergic reactions look good. (Sorry, that's last reference we'll make to that line.) Will Smith Raps About the Planet This ABC After School Special featured the Fresh Prince rapping about the dangers of polluting: "Every time you put a paint can in a trash can, you take a piece of the world from the next man." (Look out for the Ice-T cameo around 1:50 mark!) Will Smith Slaps A Reporter It was the slap heard 'round the world! Last week, at the "Men in Black 3" premiere in Moscow, a "reporter" tried to kiss Smith on the mouth. Unfortunately, Will wasn't having any of that and decided to slap him in the face. Will Smith On Blossom For all you "Blossom" fans out there: In this episode, Blossom encounters a dumbstruck Will Smith (or, more accurately, "The Fresh Prince") in an elevator. She starts screaming, he calms her down, then she starts screaming again. (Smith comes in at the four-minute mark.) Will Smith Gets Slimed This past April, Will was the latest in a very long line of celebrities to get slimed at the annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. As you can see, hiding behind Justin Bieber didn't do much in the way of keeping him clean.

Point given, Pusha T ain't bad at all. I like Clipse, tho' I consider than average or just above. I don't really have a desire to listen to the tracks tho.' It seems like a really random mix for a beef.

They are both gargage. I'm not even going to waste time hering their wack music.

Will & Jimmy Fallon - The origin of Will's hit songs
JumpinJack AJ replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I don't think Jimmy Fallon...like, ever. I didn't find lyrics of this skit nearly as funny as they could have been, but the idea of it was funny and completely random. I like to see FP doing silly stuff like this. It made me realize how much I'd like to see non-movie stuff from him. -
disappointing No MIB 3 Track from Will Smith
JumpinJack AJ replied to gosia's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Does anyone know how the song is doing? We had a top 40 station playing in the office the other day and the song got a few spins through out the day. I actually downloaded the song on Amazon. NOT BECAUSE I LIKE IT...but because I was making a Men In Black mix featuring the songs off the soundtrack, plus "Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head)" and "I Will Survive" (LOL) and I just didn't feel right NOT putting that crappy Pitbull song in the mix to round it out. -
disappointing No MIB 3 Track from Will Smith
JumpinJack AJ replied to gosia's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I didn't watch that video until just now. HOLY.FREAKIN.CRAP. That is hilarious. I say ALL of us post this one FP's Facebook wall so it grabs his attention. I'm doing it right now. If he regrets it and sees the outpour of love, maybe we'll get a remix. These days u just write a few bars, record it the next day, mix it the next...and then its on Amazon and iTunes within a week...lol. I was the one who said they should have just remixed the original song. I think the song would have gotten love all over again just it was '97. Shoot, if they re-record it, SWV is back...perfect timing...LOL -
Will Smith Freestyles on ‘106 & Park’
JumpinJack AJ replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
We may have heard that rhyme before...but it IS dope and the crowd DID love it. We know he's worked on music. We know its in his blood. We know more will come. Patience, y'all. Just the way he says "maybe" tells me something will happen. -
JJFP & Jaden perform at MIB3 Premiere
JumpinJack AJ replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
That video was dope. Jaden definitely is developing a stage persona that's good. He needs to ditch the skinny jeans tho.' LOL It kills me that they faded out in the middle of "Brand New Funk" tho.' JJ+FP is so dope after all these years. MORE MUSIC! TOUR PLEASE!!
