  1. Which is also the "J" in AJ :kekeke:
  2. "Tell Me Why" is the only song i've allowed myself 2 hear from Lost + Found since the leak. Mostly becuz i knew about the song since the summer of 2003 and becuz i feel the song would be bigger than the album...and even bigger than Hip-Hop, which it is. Anyways, i'm addicted 2 the song. Partly cuz it's the only full song i've allowed myself 2 check out, and partly becuz it's one of the best songs ever recorded anyways. Everytime i hear, i see the video in my head...and here it is. The intro, featuring only the strings, opens 2 a black screen with cinamatic credits such as "Tell Me Why, Will Smith, Mary J. Blige," and so on. As the beat drops, an image of FP, walking urban streets in casual street gear (Code Red style boots, jeans, Phillies jersey, winter coat, hat cocked 2 the side) comes up. These various shots don't featuring him rapping the hook. Just a serious, in-thought look on his face. The 1st verse is very easy 2 imagin. It's simply the visual of what he's rapping about. They can throw in a few of those urban street scenes 2 make it look as if he's looking back on that day. When he mentions seeing the news on TV, they should show some shocking and popular images of that day on a TV screen in the background. Possibly a close up of the TV screen with a reflection of FP's reaction also visable. When it comes the line where he mentions his son praying 4 the victims, they should have a shot of FP standing outside of Trey's doorway, with the focus on Trey, on his knees praying. As the hook/chorus starts up again, they can go back 2 more urban street scenes. This would be where they show the 1st glimpse of Mary J. in a similar scene (street cloths, walking urban streets. She can be lipping the words tho.' When Mary J's verse comes, i see her on a rooftop, New York style, pouring her soul out. FP's 2nd verse should be a montoge of him spitting the verse, but with the most focus being on news footage of all the events he mentions. Then can have scrolling newspaper titles appearing and disappearing all over the screen. When he mentions Jam Master Jay, i'd like 2 see a short shot of FP spitting the verse with Run and D at each side. The hook/chorus goes back 2 scenes of FP and Mary J walking the streets...not 2gether tho.' Lastly, when the music dramatically stops, it cuts 2 a close of up FP rapping acapella. When the beat drops, the camera pans out seeing that FP is in a church pugh (sp?), holding Willow, Jada and Trey sitting beside him. As u see more of the congrogation, maybe some of his close friends can be at the service as well. As the end of the verse approaches, i see the camera still panning away with FP and his family in the background, but now the focus is on Jaden. Who drops 2 his knees and prays in front of the entire church on "Sweetie, u be the light for others / make 'em believe in God." The camera dose a cinamatic spin around Jaden as it backs up, revealing Mary J. Blige in front of a choir singing the last chorus. I also see Rev Run running things in this shot. As the music abrutly fades, the pictures goes 2 black and "Tell Me Why" appears on the screen, then fades.
  3. NICKNAME: AJ REAL NAME: Adam (the J is from my middle initial)
  4. Very good newz....we're gettin' there. I expect 2 hear more of it. Once we hit top 10...thousands/millions of other fans are gonna help us when it comes 2 requesting and voting for singles/videos!!
  5. That wont' happen. I'd be disappointed 2 see it if it did tho.'
  6. Sometimes i do 2 copies. I usually try 2 bring a friend who is interested in the new album as well and get 2 get it 2gether. If i KNOW somebody will want a copy, i usually buy it 4 them as a gift.
  7. 4 real. Actions speak louder than words. People can trash-talk all they want, but making a blazing album will overshadow controversy anytime.
  8. YEAH!!! I'm tellin' y'all. This is a microscopic success compared 2 what's on the horizon!!
  9. Yeah, it's hard. I basically wake up in the morning, than run full speed in2 a wall. Usually i'll hit it hard enough that i'll black out for a few hours. It helps the time pass quicker. I'm running out of walls tho'...and band-aids.
  10. LIL' JON, USHER, + LUDACRIS - Lovers And Friends This song dosen't get old 2 me. I found Lil' Jon's album at an insane price (almost free). Since i couldn't find a promo single or import single of "Lovers And Friends," i HAD 2 get it 2 make my Usher mix CD. Sadly, the album version has a painfully wack verse from Lil' Jon, which isn't on the radio version.
  11. I think 2003's "She's A Queen" is a better repersentation of her music career (tho' it is missing a few hits). However, at this sale price, i'd definitly pick this one up. It gives u taste of each of her albums...not 2 mention the remix of "U.N.I.T.Y." From there there u can deside if u wanna check more out from her. I agree that Black Reign is her best album...and this greatest hits CD features 4 trax and a remix from it.
  12. It's the way albums are done. Not many albums are recorded in their entirety with no material not left over. Some tracks don't make it cuz they are weaker than the others...some don't make it cuz of political reasons...some don't make it just becuz they don't blend with the whole album. FP has always joked about not letting people hear his "weak stuff." I wouldn't want his legacy 2 be tarnished by an album full of his stuff that didn't make the albums. The only way i think that would be okay is if he sold it independently under the table. If an album like that was being released commercially, that would be be a really stupid idea. I'm sure some of that stuff could pop up on singles or soundtracks tho.'
  13. Wendy Williams has been popular since the early 90's. Mostly becuz her entire career is based off trash-talking. She basically spreads all the rumors she can. She makes fun of some celebrities, which is actually kinda funny sometimes, but she seems 2 be nicer 2 celebrities when they do interviews with her and give her attention. I doubt FP has done interviews with her, which means he's up 4 game 2 be talked about by her. Sometimes she isn't so bad, u just gotta know how she plays the game. However, i definitly think it's cool that he called her out on the track. She needs 2 be knocked in her place by Hip-Hop's Mr. Nice Guy. Every few weeks u can see what Wendy Williams is all about on her VH-1 show. She's had other guests like Wyclef and Flavor Flav on her show.
  14. He may have did a track with Justin Timberlake that just didn't make the album. I don't think Robin Thicke is supposed 2 be a Justin fill-in. I don't see Justin fitting in on the "Switch" remix the way Robin dose. Robin Thicke isn't popular in the US at all...i think that if he waz trying 2 replace Justin Timberlake, he would have used a big name in music. From what i've heard from Robin Thicke, his style is totally different from Justin Timberlake...and i wanna check more of his stuff out. The "Switch" remix might be the way his career jumps off here in the US.
  15. No certain country gets more trax than the other. Well, Japan maybe. They get stuff that most of us don't even know exists. It's all in the marketing. The artists themselves rarely have anything 2 do with it. It's the record labels that deside that kinda stuff usually.
  16. Hasn't FP said he's already gonna release "Tell Me Why" next?
  17. Nobody killed Eminem but himself. He chose 2 make music that sucked....which didn't used 2 suck.
  18. QUEEN LATIFAH - Just Another Day... One of the best Hip-Hop trax of all time.
  19. I just wanted 2 give u guys a heads up. Queen Latifah's "The Best of...: The Millennium Collection (20th Century Masters) CD just dropped. Circuit City has it on sale for $6.99 this week (last day of sale is Saturday). Here's the tracklisting... 1. Wrath of My Madness (All Hail The Queen) 2. Rough w/ Heavy D, Treach, KRS-One (Edited SIngle Version) (Black Reign) 3. U.N.I.T.Y. (Clean Version) **this is a dope remix not on the album!!** (Black Reign) 4. Just Another Day... (Edited Version) (Black Reign) 5. Black On Black Love w/ Next (Order In The Court) 6. Latifah's Had It Up To Here (Nature of A Sista) 7. Black Hand Side (Black Reign) 8. Paper (Order In The Court) 9. It's Alright (Order In The Court / Nothing To Lose Soundtrack) 10. Weekend Love (Black Reign) For those of u love Latifah and don't have her albums, this is a steal at $6.99!!
  20. Stay tuned...i'll be sending this trax 2 Tim in May or June. I'll tell him 2 put up a snippet of "Jeeps 'N' Benzos"...if y'all like it, u can dig up her album. Since that remix of "Summertime (Let It Get Into You)" isn't on her album, i'll probably give him the full track 2 put up.
  21. I'm not downloading the album. I'm not hearing any more album trax until the moment i pop the CD in my car stereo.
  22. I don't think there's anything wrong with posting the lyrics. Lyrics are one of those things where u can chose 2 read them ahead of time or chose not 2. That's up 2 y'all tho.' I thought about getting my hands on my track 2 do the lyrics early, but i desided 2 wait til i get the album.
