  1. Yeah, i noticed that it looks like a set up where fans can't even get the song out there. I still think it's important 2 spread the word...but once September came, i knew "Party Starter" waz a bad idea. It's tyme 2 drop "Tell Me Why." There's no other way.
  2. He probably dosen't want 2 perform on SNL. It's not like the show is any good. Ashlee Simpson has something 2 prove, so i understand why she's going back...and they need the ratings, so u know this'll drag in ratings.
  3. Thanx 4 the hook up. Both of this are very commercial remixes. It's cool 2 hear the track in a new way, but neither of the remixes do the song justice at all. They are so average, productionwise, they stand up against all the lightweight crap on the radio. The Co-P Remix sounds like FP's mom sent Eminem the acappella and he remixed it in his own crappy way. Shoot, if he can ruin 2Pac's music...he can also ruin FP's...ha ha.
  4. Brakes could probably fill u in on the Canibus stuff. I know he's dissed LL in other trax, but i don't know what waz said or if any full songs were done.
  5. Very cool! I wish i could see that! FP needs 2 drop a verse on Heavy D's new album. It would be rare 2 get that kinda talent on the same track.
  6. D4L - Laffy Taffy It's some awful dirty south rap on BET...it really sucks...trying 2 ignore it.
  7. I don't really like Canibus, so i can't list all the songs he did. I hate this topic cuz me and Brakes always bump heads...ha ha. I ride hard 4 LL and he rides for Canibus. Anways, here we go. LL COOL J feat. Method Man, Redman, DMX, Canibus "4,3,2,1" Off LL's 1997 album Phenomenon. LL believed that Canibus' verse waz aimed towards him, so he re-wrote and re-recorded his 1st back at Canibus. CANIBUS "2nd Round K.O." Canibus put this song out on a comiplation album retaliating against LL. There waz also a video. LL COOL J "The Ripper Strikes Back" LL released this song 2 radio (it later popped up on a limited edition version of DMX's 1st album). 2 me, this song is right up there with "Hit 'Em Up" as the most agressive battle track ever. He also attacks Mike Tyson and Wyclef 4 apparing on the track and in the music video for "2nd Round K.O." WYCLEF "What's Clef (Got To Do With It)" This waz Wyclef asking how he got involved in the feud and dissing LL. This track showed up on his "Cheated (To All The Girls) CD single. His lyrics and production just aren't what u'd expect from Wyclef. This came out in 1998. LL COOL J "Rasta Impasta" I don't know where LL put this track out on. It basically disses Wyclef 4 asking how he got involved since he waz all in the video and the main man behind Canibus' commerical career. WYCLEF "Tony Touch Freestyle" This freestyle waz kinda wack in my opinion...tho' Wyclef is one of the best freestylers i've ever heard. My brother picked up this 2disc Tony Touch underground mixtape. I don't think this freestyle is that easy 2 get a whole of. It came out in 1999. LL COOL J "Back Where I Belong" The song is more about LL getting real gritty and street again with his G.O.A.T. album. But alot of the song disses Canibus.
  8. Oh man, Jeremy Jordan!! HA HA. I can't believe u posted this!! Jeremy Jordan's a one-hit wonder who had a song called "The Right Kinda Love" or something on the 90210 soundtrack. I dissed him so hard back in the day, but my brother actually liked the song. 3 years ago i found his CD single for 75 cents at a record store and gave it 2 my brother as a gag gift. The next day i saw it in the trash can. Don't do Justin Timberlake like that...haha. As a former Anti-Boy Band Leader i actually like Justin Timberlake's stuff...and that old boy band stuff dosen't bug me anymore. Maybe cuz it's virtually dead.
  9. 2 of my best friends are in the hospital. One of them had an unexpected surgery and should be okay. The other has very bad chest pains and she's only 30...not 2 mention my "boss" which has me stepping up and runnin' things. I expect both of them 2 be fine, but having them in your prayers would be greatly appriciated.
  10. Ha ha...Tim, re-read the post. This is about Digable Planets...not Digital Underground.
  11. She's just crazy busy. I'm pretty sure that's it.
  12. 3Cookies sent me a couple of text messages around 8 2nite. She just wanted me 2 tell everyone she says "hi," misses, and loves everyone. Tim, she also told me 2 say that she's been listening 2 Hieroglyphics all day and that her daughter is feelin' them.
  13. LL COOL J - This Is How I'm Comin' 14 Shots To The Dome (1993)
  14. Tim, u just made me feel so stupid. We were talking about that JD track 4 awhile last nite. And now u tell me it's on an album my brother has that i made a copy of 7 years ago and used 2 listen 2 all the time. :::feels very stupid at the moment:::
  15. I know there are a few fans of Digable Planets on this board, so i had 2 share. While i waz checking 4 music 2day, i found a newly released greatest hits album 4 Digable Planets. I can't remember the actual title of the album, but it has all their biggest singles and most popular songs along with 2 previously unreleased songs and 2 remixes. The art work is reminiscent of their Blowout Comb album. I'm definitly getting this soon...DP really needs 2 come back.
  16. HIERO IMPERIUM presents THE CORNER (da album) (2005)
  17. Nothing new or very interesting here...just wanted 2 share. I waz looking thru' music 2day and found a 4-disc CD set called something like The No. 1 Hip-Hop + R-N-B Album which featuring all kinds of music. It had everything from top 10 hits like 2Pac's "How Do U Want It", to Jazzy Jeff + Jill Scott's "We Live In Philly" to artists i've never even heard of. I don't really plan on picking up the album, but it waz cool 2 see they got some of Jeff's music on there.
  18. I think it would have been cool if they released it in smaller sets where they clumped the genres 2gether, so they didn't cut any of the performances. If they released a 2-DVD set of the Hip-Hop and R-N-B acts, then one for the rock acts, one 4 the pop acts and so on, they could cater 2 the fans better, and make it more affordable.
  19. LL COOL J - Rasta Impasta (Unreleased) (1998)
  20. LL COOL J - Set It Off In New York (Unreleased) (probably 1995ish)
  21. No, she's just a really good friend. We talked about seeing what else is there but the timing hasn't been right yet. We'll see. That waz actually taken at the photography studio i work at.
  22. Ladies do Love Cool James. He rocked the mic at the HHH...period.
  23. LL COOL J - Stand By Your Man (Hip-Hop Mix) Stand By Your Man CD Single - 14 Shots To The Dome (1993)
