  1. DAZ feat. 2PAC, KURUPT, + THA OUTLAWZ - Initiated 15 Years On Deathrow (2006)
  2. That's a decent idea. But think they'd annouce it if they were doing something like that.
  3. DIANA KING - Shy Guy (Live) Tougher & Live (1996) Man, this song never gets old.
  4. NICH LACHEY - Because I Told You So What's Left of Me (Hong Kong Version) (2006)
  5. I don't think anyone would consider this compitition. I just think it's rediculous that he'd say FP wazn't really a rapper anymore cuz he does so many movies as if it waz an insult...but that he'd choose movies over music totally and act like it's cool.
  6. Spinners Singer Billy Henderson Dies Billy Henderson, 1939 - 2007 HOLLY HILL, Fla. (Feb. 3) - Singer Billy Henderson, a member of the band the Spinners who sang "I'll Be Around" and other hits, has died. He was 67. Henderson died Friday of complications from diabetes at a Daytona Beach health care facility, his wife, Barbara, said. The 1972 song "I'll Be Around" was part of a string of Top 20 Spinners hits that included "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," "Then Came You" and "The Rubberband Man." The five-member band of high school friends formed in 1954 in Ferndale, Mich., a Detroit suburb. They went on to be nominated for six Grammy Awards and became the second black musical group to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Four of the original band members, including Henderson, continued to perform together until recently. He was dismissed from the group in 2004 after suing the group's corporation and business manager to obtain financial records.
  7. U got it, i had some friends go thru' that and they've all come back safe. I'm sure your cousin will do the same.
  8. DJ JAZZY JEFF - Official Myspace Groove (2006)
  9. Either way...it's not like this is anything new...just ask Biz Markie, FP, and like 100's of over emcees and producers.
  10. I didn't know this! Thanx 4 the heads up! I don't think there's any reason 2 expect him 2 perform...but i wonder if he'll be jigged out or rockin' baggies.
  11. Does that bar even mean anything?!? Either way, it doesn't seem like it has any ties 2 Hip-Hop's royalty.
  12. Ahh...i see. Well, i don't see him jackin' someone else's beat, but who knows. I remember when a producer gave Mariah Carey a track that waz almost like one he gave to Xscape a few years before. U could tell the producer just recycled the track so that people who were fans of both of them wouldn't really notice unless u played the songs back 2 back or at the same time.
  13. One thing that helps u get over a lost dog is getting a new one. I remember feeling that i wazn't ready and had feelings of guilt if i would have (which is actually kinda silly). But then i thought, if i have the resources 2 make a dog's life better (shelter, food, and attention), i would be doing an injustice 2 not take another one in...especially since so many die every day in SPCA's all around the world. In the end, i felt 100 times better and it helped distract the me from the pain and loss.
  14. NORAH JONES - Not Too Late Not Too Late (2007) Every once in awhile i can get down with this kinda stuff.
  15. Ha ha...yeah, what's up with all these emcees and rappers having models (and in some cases, model-wanna-be's) in theit Top 8. At least he doesn't have classless ho's like some of them.
  16. I didn't actually see the part that talked about Timbaland. What did it say?? Timbaland has always been one of the most creative people in Hip-Hop...it's hard 2 imagin him coping ANYTHING.
  17. I know he's done a few smaller parts like in Johnson Family Vacation or something like that. Roll Bounce waz really good, but if he ever gets 2 a place where he'd have a succesful movie career in front of him, it would take quite a few good movies and quite a few good rolls. Nick Cannon's been jugeling the 2 for years and his only generating moderate success in both.
  18. After Bow Wow made those statements like "Will Smith isn't really a rapper anymore...he does more movies than music these days" and stuff like that. Bow Wow waz on a radio show that airs on my local Hip-Hop/R-N-B station (which plays 85% crap). The host (who is about as white as u can possibly) asked Bow Wow that if he came 2 a point in his career where he have a successful movie career for the rest of his life, would he quit music. Bow Wow said "yes"...but that he'd have 2 run his own record label to stay involved. So after saing FP wasn't an emcee anymore due 2 movies....Bow Wow would totally stop rapping for the movie thing. Ha ha...i can't even respect that. He really does have a twisted sense of self.
  19. MUSIQ SOULCHILD + KEL SPENCER - Buddy (Remix) ? (2006)
  20. That's crazy!! I actually knew he had been recording in the last 5 years cuz i have an article that talked about it. And a few months ago i found a dead link 2 a new song...but since it waz dead i didn't share it with anyone. I'll have 2 check the music. Kid 'N Play is one of my fav groups.
  21. I'm sorry 2 hear that. I know all 2 well how that goes. U gotta be thankful for the times u had 2gether and cherish those memories. My heart and prayers go out 2 your situation, man.
  22. No way, i own some of his past albums. I loved his 1st 2...and since them he's been kinda inconsistant. This is probably his best album since Illmatic. Other than Mos Def's album way at the bottom of the charts...this is probably the only real Hip-Hop album right now. This album is doing more for Hip-Hop than any album with mainstream success in the last 8 years.
  23. Yeah, i think there should be some kinda polished mixtape or compilation album with remixes and b-sides (released or unreleased). Sometimes i'll throw 2gether a mixtape 4 the car and be like "man, this is good." And when it comes 2 unrelased stuff, he's got tons of trax and remixes that never came out. He calls it his "weak stuff" but u know most of it has got 2 be really good. In reality...i don't think we can expect anything like that tho.' FP just isn't a mixtape kinda artist. He likes 2 put out polished albums every few years. All these other rappers dropping mixtapes are putting the weakest of their crap on their mixtapes. FP dosen't wanna do that 2 his catelog.
