  1. GYM CLASS HEROS + SPEECH - Biters Block As Cruel As School Children (2007)
  2. Trust me...it waz no joke. I think that if there's any way 2 get more news on this...we'd have 2 dig thru' some Master P related websites or something.
  3. Props 2 Jonny!! And u know that probably lead 2 a few of those 44,000 people actually buying the album.
  4. I don't know....it's eazy 2 get injured in Hip-Hop. Think about all the egotistical fools with access 2 guns, drugs and alcohol. Look at the fights, murders, and lawsuits that come 2 so many of todays emcees and rappers (good and bad). Luckily his royal Freshness is one of the smartest in a the game and doesn't let that kinda crap creep in2 his life if he can help it. For 20 million dollars and doing what i love, i'd gladly take a cut or a bruise here and there. Sacrafice 4 your art has always been my thing when it comes 2 my local acting.
  5. This is all a cover up...he's been sking again.
  6. JOHN REUBEN - Time To Leave Professional Rapper (2005) Yo, i saw this cat perform live in 2002. I knew nothing about him, but i loved his set. Well, desperate from real Hip-Hop and something new 2 my ears, i found one of his albums online real cheap. If u love straight Hip-Hop, i urge anyone who feels they have a remotely similar taste in music 2 check this guy out. I haven't been so excited about an album this much in awhile. I can't say anything about his other albums...but this one is dope. I'm gonna have 2 start getting his others soon.
  7. It works hand in hand. Imagination makes anything possible. Knowlege is more likely 2 make it happen. U can't do much with one unless u got the other.
  8. Thanx 4 sharing that....good 2 see them get some recognition.
  9. Wow! Interesting topic. I believe both knowledge and imagination are pretty much equally important. Knowlege is strenght and certainty. I think it's very important 2 school yourself on anything that comes your way. It's the best way 2 take care of yourself, your family, and your friends. It's much easier 2 adapt 2 the crazy things life can throw at u when u are educated. Knowledge brodens your boundries (or lack of them in life). I met this girl a few months ago and she has lived a sheltered life which makes it hard 2 her 2 adapt 2 the outside world sometimes. She also has a very low education due 2 some of the surprises that were thrown at her when she was younger. There's some very basic things that she can't do that will hurt her in the work force and so on. Imagination is just as important. As long as u are smart enough 2 know the difference. Having a strong imagination will keep u from living a cookie cutter, stagnet life. Imagination breeds creativity, which breeds an "edge" 2 a person's whole being...giving them an advantage who focuses just on facts. That's how i look at it anyway.
  10. I can't say i've ever been a huge Beastie Boy fan. I've seen a few of their old albums really cheap and picked 'em up. I do like them, but they aren't my paticular flava so i don't listen 2 them often. But i definitly think they are relevant 2 Hip-Hop and it's good 2 hear someone of their caliber dropping an album in these dark days of Hip-Hop and Rap.
  11. AALIYAH - No Days Go By Got To Give It Up (Import CD Single) (1996)
  12. I guess u don't need 2 know about and online encyclopedia when u already know everything. :1-say-yes: None of my friends use it...i've never heard of it until now.
  13. Exactly. That's why he did it in '95. It's obvious that's the reason. After all, L+F attacked all the fools messing it up. Another good point. It's like the Noah's Ark story. It's gotten so bad that it's time 2 punish the game, wipe out the population, and only spare a few key people.
  14. What is Wikipedia all about anyway? Is it a popular site or something. Cuz other than these recent posts, i've never heard of it and don't really care what they say.
  15. Very good point. I always imagined a total collapse where rebuilding could eventually happen. But i like your idea better. I did something the other nite that i haven't done in YEARS. I went in2 an AOL chat room (i used 2 do it alot 10 years ago). So i went in2 a Hip-Hop chatroom and laughed at how little they have changed when it comes 2 clashing opinions and such. They were actually talking about FP and LL when i came in, but i missed what they were talking about. It waz interesting 2 hear what different people had 2 say. There were 4 other true Hip-Hop fans in there. It didn't seem like any commercial Rap fans were in there cuz all the other idiots were just talking 2 themselves and about random things not Hip-Hop related.
  16. Wow, articles like this relieve me and anger me at the same time. With all this negative press coming from every direction, the whole commerical game is about 2 crumble 2 pieces. Bye bye Ja, Nelly, Young ______, Lil'______, G-Unit, etc. I like how they pointed out Hip-Hop heads getting in2 other artists and music cuz i can totally relate 2 that. Hip-Hop will always be my favorite kinda music, but over the past 2 or 3 years, i've gotten more and more in2 other stuff cuz Hip-Hop music is harder 2 find and commercial rap just plain sucks...peiod. It would be crazy if Hip-Hop became pretty underground all over again. Then only people who truely loved it would be making it, leading 2 inspiring music that matters. "This is why i'm hot, this is why i'm hot this is why, this is why, this is why i'm hot i'm hot cuz i'm fly, u ain't cuz u not this is why, this is why, this is why i'm hot" Garbage hooks like that will soon be a thing of the past.
  17. In most aspects, i totally agree. But since i've had the album 4 so long, i couldn't imagin it any other way (other than being 2 CDs long with the extended versions).
  18. I can't say that hasn't popped in my head.
  19. JODECI - Forever My Lady Forever My Lady (1991) ON THE RADIO!! It's always great when u hear something u grew up on on the radio.
  20. Ahhh...sorry 2 hear that, man. Oh well, this is minor compared 2 what u are destined for if u keep keepin' on.
  21. Yeah, very weird. Master P's whole No Limit music and movies thing is kinda washed up. I can't remember them having a legit hit in years. Same with the movies. So it makes me wonder if it's big budget and if so, why they would want Master P...or if it's low budget, and if so, what makes FP wanna be a part of it (the script?). It just seems very random. The way he announced it seemed like it just recently happened. Since he didn't provide info, he himself probably doesn't have much info. I think Master P is pretty wack, but i'm not against the movie as long as it's good...and in fact he has acting skillz. I just pray 2 God they don't do a song 2gether...ha ha.
  22. So i was watching yesterdays episode of BET's 106 + Park. Romeo (aka Lil' Romeo) waz on the show, and his father, Master P came out during the last half of the interview. Before they wrapped it up, Master P yelled this out..."Hip-Hop is going to the next level, i'm doing a new movie. Me and Romeo are doing a movie with Will Smith and his son." The audince got loud and applauded as they went 2 a commerical. One of the hosts said "That's what's up." Now i have no idea what the movie could be about. But even tho' i think Master P and the whole No Limit family made some of the worst rap music ever (and piggybacked the wack Dirty South movement), i actually think this could be a hilarous idea. Think about the 'odd couple factor. One legendary old school emcee with a 90's famed southern rapper who had alot of phoney hardcore hits doing a movie with their sons, showing the growth and age of Hip-Hop and Rap.
  23. I played Earthworm Jim on the SNES just 2 days ago.
