  1. Thanx for the b-day wishes (and anyone who might leave some after this reply). 2day was great. It started a bit late cuz I was wrapped up doing paperwork. But after that I washed the car, did some shopping, and then went out with a group of friends. May Babies in the house!!
  2. This is hilarious! What is this from? The way he looks at them and reacts to them like real people is brilliant. Thanx! I think I'm gonna post these on my Facebook right now.
  3. LEFT EYE w/ 2PAC - Untouchable (Nina Version) (unreleased) (2002) So when Left Eye's album was stalled in the US and she was free to leave Arista, she started working with Deathrow, they remixed alot of her Supernova album and she recorded a few new songs even though she never officially signed them. She left them a bit before she passed away, but in 2002 Deathrow put out a a very limited and rare promo single for "Untouchable"...I was hyped 2 find it and get it at an amazing price (u think both die hard TLC fans and 2Pac fans would have me paying over $100 for this...I got it for $20). I got myself my best birthday present so far...lol.
  4. JJ+FP - As We Go He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper (1988)
  5. Happy B-Day!....May babies runnin' the board!! :)
  6. There's a difference between Kanye coming into the game...and him STAYING in the game....lol. One things is for sure, I'd love for there to be an instrumental release of this album.
  7. No, the franchise wouldn't be the same without Sonnenfield. It's like the difference between Batman Returns and Batman Forever...without Tim Burton, the vibe was totally different. I'm not saying it was bad...just different. We know the movie will be funny. We know it'll be creative and visually amazing. We know it'll be entertaining. I just hope it's stronger than the 2nd movie. I'd like them to step outside of the 90 minute time frame they have limited themselves to in the 1st 2 movies. I'm sure everyone would be happy to see a 2 hour MIB movie as long as it's good. Alot of franchises stop at the 3rd movie so they need 2 rockstar the joint out with a crazy, big, unpredictable, and longer story. I wouldn't be mind seeing cameos from some of the old characters as well as new ones. I remember me and Tim always saying Jazzy Jeff needed to be make a cameo as one of the aliens. New music is a must for this. I was just listening 2 Big Willie Style last nite and remembering how dope 1997 was with MIB and Big Willie Style, the music videos, the singles, the awards.
  8. TONI BRAXTON - Yesterday Pulse (2010) Why on earth did they not put on the duet version with Trey Songz that they use on the single and the video?!? Trey Songz is one of the only credible R-N-B artist who gets success 2day.
  9. It's been delayed AGAIN!!! But this time it's only for a week. I was really annoyed when I couldn't find Season 5 in stores today (the release date). I just found out it was bumped to next week. May 11th we'll have it!
  10. I like Nas...there are times in his career when I liked him a lot less. But over all I like him. He's rapped over some classic beats and he's rapped over some less-than-stellar beats. I have a handful of his albums and I follow him a little bit but not consistently very closely. That being said, I've always seen him as a good emcee and nothing more. A bigger fan can answer this, but is he more than a good emcee? To me, he's never seemed as the wisest business man. He seems like the kind of artist who should partner with other people at times to make sure he's making the right choices.
  11. JOHN MAYER - Back To You Room For Squares (2001)
  12. Brakes, u certainly aren't missing anything. That sounds about right 2 me.
  13. GANG STARR - Moment of Truth Moment of Truth (1998) Probably my favorite Gang Starr song ever. This song always puts life in perspective.
  14. Who knew "Black Suits Comin'" would be one of the most exciting moments on the board in 2010...lol. Anyone else think this is the best version as well?
  15. I used to think Kanye was a dope producer. About 2005 he started getting really inconsistent. He's sound started branching out and with that the over all quality went down. He's voice, flow, and lyrics are already lacking. Once u take away the dope beats and substitute them with average or weak beats, there's nothing to help u forget all of the immature and stupid things that he says and does on a regular basis. U can fix bad production...u can't fix stupid. Drake? I never thought he was good. Like...ever.
  16. Yeah, that movie looks like it's gonna be really good. Definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to Common Sense's acting career.
  17. QUEEN LATIFAH feat. HEAVY D, KRS-ONE, + TREACH - Rough Black Reign (1993) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v2r4RQkmgU
  18. No, Ted. It looks the same but the tracklisting is different.
  19. RUFUS & CHAKA KHAN - Tell Me Something Good
  20. Yeah, the MIB 2 Remix is only on the Import CD Single. I think it's clearly the best version of the song. The others are so polished and over-produced.
  21. KIERNAN MCMULLAN - Running On Empty The Best Part (EP) (2010) This is one of my favorite acoustic artists. I met him this past summer. Whenever I'm in an acoustic mood, his stuff hits the spot.
  22. I'm neither against it or for it. I just want the movie to be good. Marvin Gaye is legendary. It's one of those situations where u almost need a no-name actor to embody that real-life person. Watching ALI, I was constantly thinking "that's Fresh Prince." I still liked the movie but when a no-name actor is playing the role, u are get more tied up in the movie. If a big name actor was in Superman Returns I wouldn't have liked it as much. The only thing I hate about music bio-pics is that it's awkward seeing a film with an actor lipsyncing to classic songs u've heard 100 times. That's just always been weird to me.
  23. GANGSTARR w/ TOTAL - Discipline (Instrumental) Disciipline (CD Promo) (1999)
  24. I can't say I like this song but thanks for sharing it. I tried to get the free download but it looked like that link just took me to a generic download page...not for the song.
