  1. Does that list include digital sales as well? If so, these numbers have become pretty pitiful over the last few years.
  2. I am personally very glad that Wayne decided to diss Jay-Z, a man that gave his talentless ass so much. A man that would annihilate him in a real battle. Now I hope that Wayne continues this awesome strategy and disses Nas, KRS One, Eminem, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, and LL Cool J.
  3. Man... I don't know what's worse. A dead forum? Or a forum taking magazines like InTouch seriously...
  4. It's been awhile since I made one of these bad boys. Got it all done in a relatively short amount of time all things considered. The sound isn't great in some places, I know. But I'd like to know what you think anyway.
  5. I played the hell out of that once you posted it. Masta Ace is one of the greatest.
  6. The hum of my computer. It's about to get louder. New video should be up by tomorrow.
  7. Man, anyone is sounding better than Gillie Da Kid right now... let's see: Rakim- This would be dope. Will and Rakim both have exceptional flow. Big Daddy Kane- I'd love to see these two go hard on a track. I don't really want too many collabs on the next album, to be honest. I want verse after verse coming from the Fresh Prince.
  8. Really dope show. Today's popular rappers couldn't pull this off.
  9. It's funny that you mention the Colbert Report. He doesn't have music too often, but when he does the artist is always dope. You picked out a lot good stuff. When someone makes big hits, that's when you see influence in the rest of the industry. Unfortunately, that works both ways, when a wack song gets blows up, more wack songs follow. So here's to hoping more songs like these gain in popularity.
  10. It's sounding more solid now. I'm a little worried about the people he's supposedly recording with though.
  11. I would love for him to do a whole album with Jeff. Keep the autotunes, lil's, and people named after fashion companies the hell out.
  12. Very nice to hear something like this. If this actually happens, keep that Gillie Da Kid ****er out of the album, Will. Make it worth the wait!
  13. That video pissed me off. No music really can be better than wack music.
  14. Those videos were a nice tease. But if we don't get a song for MIB3 I have zero hope for more music.
  15. That sucks. It's been known to happen in Southern California, so it's kind of weird seeing it in London. I hope it gets resolved soon.
  16. Nice job, Tim. Is everyone still on board for this?
  17. No, it's more about the context of the sampling. He's saying that Jay and Kanye's song is flashy and Otis wasn't about that.
  18. Well aren't we a dry bunch today. Anyway, sorry to hear about the situation Ben. I had to move back home recently too and I would like to get on my feet soon. It starts with a better job...
  19. I like that he shed light on the facts. The artists who made "oldies" didn't exist just to be sampled.
  20. I just got my degree from California and it is literally the best possible thing that can happen to you. I had to get a new phone number because employers would not stop hounding me for my expertise in Mass Communications. It became a bribing game with them. Microsoft sent me a gift basket and then Google sent me a car. Toyota felt stupid that they didn't do the same (they paid for me to go to Hawaii for the summer). I still don't know who to side with. I feel like the prettiest girl at the dance.
  21. k-os. Check out The Anchorman Mixtape. It's free and it's dope.
  22. I can film on the weekend.... As soon as we confirm everyone is on board.
