  1. Well, even so, I read at allhiphop, The Game and Ras Kass are suppose to go at each other now. So with one ending, starts another. Plus BET doing a "BEEF Series". That's just a sign of how desperate corp. offices are. I didn't realize him and Ja were that into it having problems.
  2. Janet Jackson - Alright With Me blended into Bell Biv Devoe - Poison now... Bell Bev Devoe - Poison
  3. I absolutely love that song. Probably my overall favorite Kweli track, based on the message and that being the first time I ever heard of him. Da Brakes - The DJ Track From JJFP to JJDB.
  4. If you're going to point the finger, I don't know how you missed the CEOs, A&Rs, etc. The people in a position of power that are supposedly there to make things happen. I really think somebody needs to do some type of documentary or movie that depicts what goes behind the scenes of what we find ourselves arguing about. And if any already has, please point me in the right direction. You're point on quality isn't far off. But I think what you forget to say is that some people have different views of what quality music is.
  5. I agree with what KoffeeBlakk said about Petey Pablo. I got his first album and I fairly enjoyed the album. But the difference between "Raise Up", and "Freak-a-leak" just turned me off. One point I will disagree with you on is getting past somebody's single. The whole point of a single is to turn people on to your album. It's just not everybody chooses to promote a different kind of single nowadays. And 50, I thought his albums held up as far as mass appeal. "The Massacre" got a mixed reaction but everyone around me that I knew seemed to want it. And when I read a review between 'old school' and 'new school', "A Baltimore Love Thing" was actually a good song, even tho he personified being a drug. And anyway, Ted, 50 is not oging to change. It would take something miraculous but it's not going to happen. 50 and others have already dug a hole for their image. And with that, it's going to affect their personal lives a bit.
  6. Kel Spencer - The Building Go to his page NOW!!!
  7. How fitting. Jean Claude. haha. But anyway, I really hope Rush Hour 3 holds up as a trilogy.
  8. I watched the Miami one. No complaints. Who shot these for you? How receptive were people to you down in Miami? Looks like you had a real fly time on vacation. btw, I think you should include these outtakes on your mixtape. Like maybe use part of the Miami one for an opener over Will Smith's "Miami" and do something special. After all, it is a "Mixtape", right? And you're not as bulky as I pictured, based on your photos. Enhancement perhaps? :lolsign:
  9. Sounds like it's gonna be a wild night.
  10. I thought that's how high the bidding went. And it's starting off 1 million??!!?? That's crazy. I don't think Will would stand to sell his crew's jacket for that amount.
  11. Yeah, I got a funny feeling AJ said something to Kel, or it was just a matter of fate because I came across the EP and wondered if AJ still had it. If I've got to order Kel's mixtape again just to get the EP, I might do that.
  12. This was actually impressive, considering you're last audio with Joe. Production was pretty nice too. Your mic presence was nice. I wasn't feelin' some of the lyrics but it's a nice track. Good job.
  13. P Diddy, G Dep, Black Rob, & Loon - The Saga Continues Although I'm not a Diddy fan, I love this album. It's got a bit of everything. Everybody peaked on this album.
  14. Kel Spencer - It Ain't Nothin' (Who Is Kel Spencer?)
  15. That was a cool except of things about Pac that other people went through.
  16. Hi-Tek feat. Jadakiss, Papoose, Talib Kweli, & Raekwon - "Where It Started At (New York)" If you love New York shhh, this is for you. Hi-Tek said it's like old '94 grimey in his blog and bulletin. It's good to see Hi-Tek back out doing another album.
  17. Hey Turntable. I know you're big on Ja Rule and stuff. What's that song "X" like?
  18. I'm just wondering how you going to restore musical values and what you showcase doesn't quite follow that. I guess this is positive media that 50 gets ignored for. Hmm.
  19. This sounds like a good thing, as long as it's handled right.
  20. I don't know what to think of Flav. I mean he's cool but I don't know. You keep up with Chuck D's terrordome's Ted, has Chuck said anything about Flav's 2nd season?
  21. Trust me Sonic, helping girls with homework doesn't get you anywhere. :lolsign:
  22. I seen this track last night on this site called datpiff.com (for mixtapes of all levels). I also seen a G-Unit mixtape with 50_Cent on the cover behind 2 tombstones that said "Hip Hop is Dead". Hmm? Reason I noticed all this was because I was searching for Kel Spencer and came across this track titled "Go In" he had on 'An A&R's Dream 2'. http://www.datpiff.com/Various-Artists-An-...-2-mid1494.html I also found Kel on an Intro track ("Bang Out") of DJ Envy's mixtape "The Future" (2000). HAven't found it yet tho.
