  2. The US audience especially in today's era have no respect for the OG's and the greats that's had long lasting careers fans are so fickle now they'll turn on you on a dime i don't blame the artist like JLo, FP and other oldschool artist to not ever want to tour in america anymore. Thank you! Juile for giving us who can't be there an idea of what the shows are like. When FP announced the tour date locations i was so bummed but seeing how he's being clowned by the public i don't even blame him there's no us dates it just sucks for us who want to see him atleast once at a show.

  4. I love this. I'm glad it was a great time. The clips fromt he tour have looked great, so it's good to hear that the lives up to the hype. I had no doubt that it would. I hope he does do some shows in the US. It's tough. The US is so jaded. They've turned hard on so many iconic artists that they used to embrace. Artists like Will, Jennifer Lopez, who have tons of hits, who were so univerally loved now get the side eye for some reason. Social media comments are often cruel. That's why there are US artists who are only/mostly touring internationally.
  5. All I can say is wow. Last night was the best concert I’ve ever been to. It was even better than Blackpool. Will has so much energy, it just sort of radiates off him. I saw Jeff a few months ago and I can say the same about both of them. They have the same energy as they had 40 years ago. You can tell they are both lifelong entertainers. The show had everything. Nostalgia with the FPOBA theme tune, the Apache dance and the tribute to uncle Phil. His older hits are obviously big tunes for everyone. His newer stuff went down well. He did a good job setting up “You can make it” so everyone got into it. “Work of art” was great but he had to stop half way as someone was about to collapse ( very hot and cramped up front) so we missed a chunk. He put “ get lit” in. Although none of us like the song, he gets the crowd into it. I was very excited to see WWW as he didn’t do it in Blackpool. The production was incredible with the backdrop, the dancers and that male singer is incredible. Seeing the Oscar in real life was fab and it was nice to see him proud of it. I think the last few years you could see Will lost some of his sparkle but seeing him on stage he looked so happy and he soaked up the crowd when they shouted his name. I hope from this he does more shows, especially for you guys in America and Australia. He clearly loved every second. It was great spending it with big fans, we did JJFP.com proud by yelling those BNF lyrics louder than anyone. And I got a shout of from Will coz I made a sign saying “I’m not even real, I’m A.I” and laughed and read it out.
  6. What's up fam!!! I haven't been here for a while pretty much letting Will's album fully sink in, and i feel like it's a huge miss step. I get it i understand where. Will's coming from he had alot to get off his chest and vent through his music but this ain't it. The reception over all is just bad a few tracks of course, Tantrum is a banger Bulletproof i really like, You Can Make It, Work of Art but the overall feel of the album is just isn't sitting right. I totally agree with Tim Pretty Girls is trash. Trash beat, lyrics i guess will wanted a fun chill song but he could have done better than this. I can name about a dozen tracks will's done about loving the ladies that's so better than. Pretty Girls and he's getting clowned over his. Lunch Break freestyle. I really think. Will needs to dial it back this feels like a get back at everybody tour that's failing bad. I want will to get back into that music that everyone can listen to. Nothing about the new album will ever feel the way his classics felt and that's what i'm. REALLY Missing right now. Also. No Jeff at all on the whole album except that Damn intro where i still can't tell if that's him or not talking. This just isn't the feel and vibe i was looking for with this album. I'm a Will fan for life but this album feels like a huge miss.

  8. I don't want this song to be the last thing we get for a while. I understand he wanted to essentially do a runway song, but I don't think the song checks all the boxes to get a celebrated song in that world. It's certainly not what the masses want. It's a litle frustrating because "Pretty Girls" has gotten a handful of remixes. I'd like to have seen other new songs get remixes, though not club mixes. I like some of the things going on with the Grvfiti Martyrz Remix. They re-work the chorus so it's not just the chinese water torture of the same spoken lines over that basic beat. I like that the Blaccmass Remix smoothes things out, taking away the club sound. I just wish it got a new chorus. The Michael Christmas remix doesn't do much for me. It mostly just speeds up the song without Chipmunking Will's voice. The Andrea Botez Remix is a pretty standard club mix, but I suppose it's still an upgrade on the beat.

  10. Based On A True Story: Rave In The Wasteland - 5 Month Later I was listening to the album in the car the other day and found that my opinion of the album hasn't changed much. I'm curious how others feel about it. This album is the first JJ+FP/Will Smith/DJ Jazzy Jeff album that I didn't play almost non-stop for weeks/months after it came out. While I feel like an artist should freely explore and do what they want, that's the reason it hasn't kept me. "Hard Times (Smile)" and "Make It Look Easy" are still my favorites. I listen to them pretty often. This songs would have found their way to a "traditional" Will Smith album. "Int. Barbershop Day" was necessary to me, but due to the subject matter, I feel the song has a shelf life that has me over it, wishing that dope beat was used for a different subject matter. "You Can Make It" is still a gem. It's a highlight and it gave him a gospel hit. Thank God for that. You Lookin' For Me?, Rave In The Wasteland, and Bulletproof, Work of Art, and Beautiful Scars are all good songs, but I'm rarely in the mood to hear them until they come on. I've never been much of a fan of "Tantrum". I like "First Love" more than most people here, but I feel like both of these songs would have been stronger on other artists' albums, featuring Will. I think he really should have released physical copies. Even with a limited run of a few thousand CD and records (and even cassettes) would have created more interest for certain people and helped it chart. I had been eyeing someone who was selling bootleg versions of it on CD, but they recently stopped offering them, I guess due to the lack of interest. Some people will roll their eyes at this, but I'm just not feeling Will cussing in his rhymes. I'm so glad his tour has been sucessful. Sadly, that's what a lot of legends have to do to keep the momentum going. They'll drop albums and not get the sales they used to, but the tour helps justify it. I kind of wish he'd just release Based On A True Story as a triple album and let the main supporters buy the album and enjoy all he's created. I hope he's in love with being on the road, and I hope it brings him back to center so we can get the classic Hip-Hop that he's a master at.
  11. Myself, Kev, Brakes and Michelle are meeting up in Wolverhampton to see the show tomorrow. Im so excited, I’ve heard nothing but good things from people who were there. We are hoping to get there early to be as close as we can.

  15. There’s really no AI in these pictures or videos. I went to three of his shows, all the people you see in those pictures and videos are real. This is just some media bull****. People keep finding new ways to hate on him.
  16. https://www.the-independent.com/arts-entertainment/music/news/will-smith-tour-video-ai-crowd-fans-signs-b2813526.html?utm_source=reddit.com I don’t like bringing negative news here but I feel it needs to be said as a fan for the last 30+ years…since the album release Will and his team have really dropped the ball on this come back. All I’m seeing is a lot of people cracking jokes and stuff like this doesn’t help. Any hope for season 2 and 3 of BOATS is dwindling. We knew the tours weren’t going to be huge stadium shows. They’re small, intimate events. Fans came out and supported. Why would they resort to using AI? It’s pretty blatant. As a fan I’ve just been really disappointed with this entire roll out. After waiting so long for new music, getting a few decent tracks, then getting stuff like pretty girls coupled with controversy like this it’s just hard to watch. I don’t know what Will and his team think they’re accomplishing here but it’s not helping.

  26. oh wow this is amazing - great effort man!
  27. First Love is a bad song in context. The problem with Pretty Girls is you can tell he tried way too hard. he wanted a hit, he wanted a social media dance song, he wanted views...and i guess he's getting the views but its mostly from people clowning the song. He's just not reading the room at all and as a fan its frustrating. Tim is right, the song killed any momentum he might have had. The shows are small but selling and doing well, he's performing the classics everyone loves, but now thanks to the flop of Pretty Girls any new music is just kind of up in the air. When he dropped tracks like Tantrum and Beautiful Scars you saw promise some people liked that. I saw people making reaction videos and liking them....Then he just took a whole step back. Now all i see is people laughing and it sucks.

  29. Don’t you mean Pretty Girls here Tim? He’s not doing the song on his tour at the moment. I went to three of his shows and he didn’t perform Pretty Girls. He did do Get Lit.
