  1. Past hour
  2. I think it’s going to backfire - look at the comments on Wills tik Tok - he is being absolutely savaged for how bad this is.
  3. Today
  4. I get what he's trying to do. It's a song made for TikTok and social media. He's trying to stay relevant, he's riding trends. It doesn't appeal to the old skool Hip Hop heads like most of us. We're all hoping he will get back in the lab with Jeff but he's just having fun and trying things. I could see this blow up on TikTok and other social media. It's got a catchy hook and a fun beat. Lyrics are basic club rap, it's better than First Love in my opinion.
  5. This is seriously one of the worst tracks Will has ever released. What was he thinking? Bad beat, horrible lyrics and horrible concept. I feel like he has killed his musical comeback with this rubbish. Very disappointing. How did no one near him not tell him this song is awful.
  6. Yesterday
  7. That's amazing! It must have been a great experience
  8. Wow it sounds like the old Neptune sound from hip hop in the early 2000s. I'm digging it
  9. I was there! Right at the front. I only live a 25 minute walk from King's Cross Station, so I got there as soon as i heard about it. Oh, and Will signed my Willennium vinyl. Still can't believe it!
  10. 'Pretty Girls' Music Video tomorrow! https://www.instagram.com/p/DKz9foaykHI/
  11. Love that he did this performance, and man "pretty girls" sounds great. Can't wait to hear it tonight.
  12. Still seems so surreal that this is happening. To get a new single (with a video) so soon after an album is ridiculous. Now I just need a concert somewhere that doesn't require me to fly for an insane amount of $$$ and I'll be set.
  13. Last week
  14. Nice surprise! Sounds like the new single/album will be less serious and more fun. Looking forward to it.
  15. Can't wait!! That's Cassandra Freeman BTW, Aunt Viv in 'Bel-Air'.
  16. Earlier
  17. The mask makes this a little weird.
  18. Looking forward to this one. Hope it will be great.
  19. He said the second album would drop in June, let's see if he keeps his word. I really hope so but I'm skeptical. The first album didn't do well, so maybe that discouraged him a bit.
  20. I'm hoping it is the first single off the new album.
  21. Victory is all about perseverance, storytelling, imagination and evolution. Slick Rick joins forces with Idris Elba for Victory — a visionary visual album set to be released through 7Wallace, in collaboration with Mass Appeal on June 13. Celebrating 26 years since The Ruler’s last album, Victory is a triumphant new chapter — a sonic and cinematic tour de force that redefines the boundaries of storytelling, legacy and the power of imagination. Executive produced by The Poet (Slick Rick) and The Visionary (Idris Elba), the project features powerful collaborations with Nas and Giggs, along with a special contribution from Estelle. At its heart lies a 30-minute immersive film, directed by Meji Alabi — the creative mind behind Beyoncé’s Black Is King, which brings Victory to life through bold imagery and narrative depth. For the aesthetic vision, Slick Rick collaborated with legendary photographer Jonathan Mannion and brand storytellers Equator Studios. The music was mixed by Young Guru, with the album artwork and rollout developed in partnership with British agency PAQ and Rick’s own Team Eye Patch. Victory will premiere at the inaugural SXSW London on June 7th followed by an In Conversation with Slick Rick, Idris Elba and film director, Meji Alabi. In New York, the film will premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Festival on June 13th followed by a Q&A with Slick Rick.
  22. The sequel continues the legacy of the original film, capturing the drama, humor, and heart that unfold in the daily lives of stylists and their loyal clientele. Tatyana Ali shines as a young woman finding her voice and confidence, while Stacey Dash adds flair and attitude to the salon’s colorful ensemble. Bobby Brown surprises with a comedic twist, showing off his range in a role that blends charm and chaos.
  23. All I see is “will smith is shooting a new music video” I wonder which song it’s for??!
