Admin Hero1 Posted August 3, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted August 3, 2006 Im reaching for/ the depths of mind Where great thought man/ seldom finds Where knowledge and life/ is intertwined With doubts and fears/ just read the signs Looking out at the ocean/Waves crash mind floating At the rhythm of natures call/ every ripple identical As the sun sets/ my mind melts into the distance Think of the world/ rotating at this very instance Is there much difference/does my life need assistance When I travel on this journey/its a troubled excursion Sure to be filled with pain/ suffering and hurting Wonder if the positive deeds/ are really working In my own reality/ its the only think thats certain Till I pull up stumps/ and draw curtains Look back on the experience/ the strain, heavy burdens Choices Ive made/ suspect things are worsening Of course it gets difficult/but the magnitude of lifes force Is the source of movement/the search for improvement Trying to get back/to the mind state of a child Free of all the tribulations/serious situations and trials Im reaching for/ the depths of mind Where great thought man/ seldom finds Where knowledge and life/ is intertwined With doubts and fears/ just read the signs Ive seen it all/ one too many times Anything is possible/through the power of the mind It takes great strength/to stay on the grind But remain focused/ and happiness you will find Calmness and enlightenment/ propels the centered Individual free of residuals/ when the pain has ended But what I dont get/whats really funny Is how many of these people/ are on the grind for the money Man Im on the grind for whats important/and thats true happiness Cars clothes and hoes / does not bring me this Its time we start valuing friendship/love and life over spending chips People reckless in this/Try to get ahead in this Scrounge, scrag and fight/ for the materialness It will help you survive/ but it will not help your life Look its better to know/wrong from right Than how to bark and bite and dog ya friends when a dollar light Im reaching for/ the depths of mind Where great thought man/ seldom finds Where knowledge and life/ is intertwined With doubts and fears/ just read the signs Its time to re-evaluate/whats really important people Is it saving lives/ and helping meek and feeble Is it changing lives/with your free will Influence and enlighten/ dont poison the pen be real The lethal few who/ feud for glory You Dont get my attention/ thats not my story I feel there is no need/ to be so literal understanding the visceral/ is a more spiritual ritual Now dont let the darkness envelop you/itll act like a sedative Become Immune to the light/and depression gets repetitive Paralyzes your emotions/leaves you stunned and tentative Instead focus on the positive/dead the negative dont let it live If you lose your vision lose your sight /overcome dark with light Theres more meaning in life/Than the meaning of life But if you choose/to not search for the answers And you close your mind/life will act like a cancer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
