Members Mr K
http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/features/432775-cinemacon-the-sony-pictures-presentationSony was at Cinemacon and while they obviously focused on some of the more high profile releases (or those that will be released sooner than December) they did show a scene from Concussion ... supposedly it looks like a very "dramatic and emotional film" with Smith disappearing into the role due to his south african accent. Here's the excerpt:Concussion (December 25)Directed by Peter Landesmann (Parkland), this drama starring Will Smith involves the very dangerous reality of concussion injuries and deaths in the NFL, and they showed a scene of Smith addressing a meeting of players to talk to them about those they have lost due to concussions. Smith plays Dr. Bennet Omalu from the Brain Injury Research Institute and Smith’s South African accent really made him disappear into the role as he addressed the doctors in attendance (including one played by Alec Baldwin). There wasn’t much more to this than that extended scene, which made it seem like this is going to be a very dramatic and emotional film. Jazzy Julie
This gets me a bit more excited. When I hear it's about American football my eyes glaze over a bit, but it's not really about the football, it's about a mans fight to prove something against a huge company. Will really wants his oscars lol.

MaxFly
This looks like it will be great. Big topic, the acting is on point, the Nigerian accent is particularly and scarily on point.
Admin Hero1 Posted August 31, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted August 31, 2015 This is the best trailer I've seen from Will in a long long time. The accent is on point, the acting is on point. I now can't wait to see this movie.
fan 4ever
Trailer looks good. A more serious role for Will. I like it. Let's hope he will win his Oscar so he can get back to music! ;-)
