Tom Cruise On His First Scene With Will Smith

Before heading into the movie theater, Tom also told Tim about working with his longtime pal Will Smith for the first time – in a recent skit for the MTV Movie Awards. In the skit, Tom reprised his role as his “Tropic Thunder” character Les Grossman, who gives Jaden Smith a little advice, while Will looks on.

“We’ve always wanted to work together and we’ve been looking for something to do for quite a while,” Tom explained. “So we’re always talking about it…

“That was the first [time],” Tom continued of their small screen pairing. “We were on set, we looked at each other like, ‘This is the first time [we’ve worked together] and I’m in a fat suit!”

Will Smith's wife Jada risks disaster as she shows off her long legs in super short skirt

She's married to The Fresh Prince, her son is number one at the box office, but Jada Pinkett-Smith can hold her own amongst her talented family.

The mother-of-two wowed as she showed off her long legs and toned frame on a U.S. chatshow yesterday.

The 37-year-old admitted she was risking her modesty, but managed to pull off her short white satin dress as she sat down on David Letterman's sofa.

'I have to be a little careful with this dress David, to make sure there are no flaps that reveal where The Karate Kid originated from,' she joked - referring to 11-year-old Jaden.

An actress herself, Jada starred in films such as The Nutty Professor but in recent years has concentrated on her charity work and raising her children with actor Will Smith.

Letterman, 63, did not know where to look as Jada strutted into his studio.

Seeming flustered, the chat show host quickly picked up his notes and began asking the actress about her family.

Jada gushed about their son Jaden - who has the lead role in hit movie The Karate Kid.

She said the 11-year-old still had no idea that his film was the box office number one after its opening weekend.

'When the film actually opened he left and went camping with his friends,' she said.

'When he came back from camping on Sunday he actually went to see The A-Team. He called me and said: "Mom, you have to make sure you see The A-Team".'

Jada revealed her husband had made weekly trips between China - where the Karate Kid was filming - and Los Angeles - where Trey, his 17-year-old son from a previous marriage, was competing in American football games.

'Trey couldn't make it because he has a budding football career,' she explained.

'What Will had to do was fly every Thursday to attend Trey's football games. It was something.

'I made it for about two and Jaden made it for about four.'

And while Trey was working hard on the pitch, the actress said Jaden was working his socks off on the Karate Kid set.

'He had a good time but it was probably the most difficult project that any of us have ever done,' she said.

'Jaden worked seven days a week because he trained on the weekends, then while he was filming during the week he trained at lunchtime.

'This kid put in work like you would never believe.'

But Jada confessed she did occasionally step in to make sure her son got enough rest.

'There were times that people were very upset with me because Mommy shut the set down,' she laughed.

'I said: "He's not going to work today, he's not going to rehearse, he's not going to train".'
