1. The sad thing is for the young teens now that are in high school who only seen the commercial side of hip-hop(sex,drugs,cash,clothes,Cristal), how will they be original if they see nothin' original out there?!! :dunno: They'll talk about the same things when they make their demo tapes 'cause they'll think "Oh THIS is the way I'll get famous"! :cussing: To be honest though I did the same thing when I first started rapping at 15, but by the time I was 17 I hated that style and started to listen to more of old school hip-hop and decided to be myself more 'cause it felt worthless imitating others, I remember more kids in my high school liked my rapping when I tried to act commercial, but I don't care who likes me 'cause I feel better when I'm myself! :peace:
2. He might not have a credit card 'cause mostly everythin' you buy on the internet you need one so we shouldn't diss him for this!!
3. His voice didn't change that much between "Big Willie Style" and "Born To Reign" his voice is totally different from "Code Red", nothin' else he did since sounded like "Code Red" with his voice! I just don't get it 'cause I don't see any boxers voices change so it couldn't have been from "Ali" training! :dunno:
4. The thing is hip-hop is everywhere these days so there's no pressure on a lot of these new rappers getting record deals to raise the bar creatively 'cause their record sales have always been high unlike when it was the mid-'80s and early-'90s where it was harder for hip-hop to be accepted in mainstream! Think about this way "He's the DJ, I'm The Rapper" was a classic hip-hop CD, but it only sold 2 million copies and Eminem sold more than 7 million copies apiece doing "The Marshall Mathers LP" and "The Eminem Show" but the albums weren't as hot from beginning to end as "He's the DJ,I'm The Rapper". If Eminem was releasing those albums 10-15 years ago he wouldn't be selling as much 'cause back then, nobody did! Dr.Dre's "The Chronic" set the standard for hip-hop in the '90s but only sold 3 million copies, but each of his protege(Eminem) albums sold more than that and that's a disgrace when Eminem's an average rapper at best. Ludicris, Jay-Z, and Eminem have been doing the same thing for the last 6 years but they always go multiplatinum. I liked them when they 1st came out but they got boring. I admire artists like Will Smith, The Roots, Nas, and Common 'cause at least they attempted to do something DIFFERENT with all of their albums! As long as hip-hop remains mainstream there won't be motivation for originality unless you check for the underground scene.
5. How 'Bout this one from "Chasin' Forever": "4 Years And Like Wine You Got Finer With Time"
6. I got out of line m.c's sweatin' over my appeal on statements I shot out runs like Rickey Henderson 'cause I'm stealing bases I always find my way to home plate Since you're that lame catcher When you lose your craft, lame rapper It's gonna be hard for you to catch up I'm the all star celebrity and you're a back up If you're not on my team then the losses occur to stack up So you only play garbage minutes Go fool your opportunity away and you're on the practice squad again I already scored 50 points today when your ass got ripped The coach didn't bother callin' your name to check back in He caught you were already nappin' He said you're a problem and waste of a pay check and wacked ya head In front of the rest of your team Big Ted is the best of the league And you're heading to a developmental league You'll have to file for unemployment After I destroyed your ankle you're annoyed That I made you return to rehab And your only time in the majors will occur only as Being a towel boy is your only chance Until the owner's son beats you to it Don't get all sentimental from my rhyme scheme, I'm only foolin' But seriously you don't have much of a chance of winning Over the accuracy of the stuff that I'm spitting I have more velocity than Roger Clemens I can't store mercy when I got the shot to win I jam to exert heat and I block your shot again Like Mutombo and wave my finger, "not in my house trick" Is what I'll be yellin' I'll be buldin' a dynasty similiar to when Russel was leading the Celtics
7. Hey J-O-E, I only replied to your post 'cause u replied to mine, ain't nothin' personal, we'll see what happens when the REAL battle begins! I'm comin' out swingin' 'cause this is only an exhibition for me, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

11. What up J-O-E You ain't gonna cut Big T-E-D I ain't a thug but I rip m.c.'s Your hype's lame 'cause you try to impress shorties But you slide away embarassed off of corny lines That are foolish pride to say, not facts, something that a softee like you would supply You couldn't mess wit me You're so lost and empty like your opportunity to lose your virginity The only moment you will get laid is when you play with your puppet Keep it real I can tell that you're fake and not really thuggin' You're playing skills ain't worth 50 cents You don't have a gun You're slow and can't blast to run I don't need a crew Try to front that weak will get your act thru We're not on the even playin' field I'm like Jordan I got titles And you sound like you were booted off of American Idol You got knocked on your spine wit boos and you're gaspin' for survival The sad thing is that your only girlfriend got me on speed dial When she comes to my crib she always screams my name she's like a member of Destiny's child And she told me that that whenever she went out with you you peed in your pants That's when she stepped away from J-o-e to get wit Big T-e-d who's a real man
12.

im sure Eminem probably secretly liked "Parents Just Don't Understand". He can even relate to that in a way.
Eminem said that his favorite rappers growing up were Run-Dmc, Slick Rick, N.W.A., and LL Cool J, so I bet that he liked JJFP too but he just fronts like he didn't!
13. I checked out the video today on MTV2 and it's funny, the best work that Brandy's done in a while, I'm not a big fan of hers but I think I'll buy her albumwhen it drops 'cause Brandy raised her game for real!

17. I'd would imagine he does 'cause he probably performed them all a million times throughout his career at shows!!!
18. You are so damn lucky! You met Samuel L. Jackson too before?!! Is running into celebrities an everyday occurance for you?
