  1. those speakers aren't half bad. But if you know your Bang & Olufsen this vid is kinda silly. first of he should have used the BeoLab 5 speakers, strong enough to move their own weight, that would make it more believeble. ofcourse no speakers can move your furniture but anyway...guess he couldn't afford them. another fun thing is he uses the B&O controller, got B&O DVD player and speakers, but that TV... just some cheap copy. wonder how he made that controller work, probably some other guy behind the couch with another remote. Diddy also got that all white room just like B&O had in their pictures a couple of years ago, but in Wills movie the room looks like in this years B&O commercials.. Beeing a B&O fan i love that Will uses it so much (Bad boys 2, hitch, switch, partystarter) and he uses it in the way its supposed to be used. discrete elegance, he just use it, not filming it the whole video to show off.
  2. a late but huge Thank You! made my day
  3. I was one of his TV fans before i found out about his music and movies. it was back in about 96 i think that i had been watching fresh prince for some years and went to the cinema to se ID4. remember me and my friends, all kids back then, was like: hey! wait a minute, i know that guy. thats fresh prince!. And then BWS came out, my all time favourite Will album and i was hooked. before willennium dropped i had seen pretty much all his movies and heard all his music, exept for and in this corner which was a bit hard to find here at that time. since then my interest in Will has gone up and down like a wave. i think he's made both some great as well as terrible choises regarding both his music and acting. but in the end i've always ended up as a faithful fan. No music he will ever make can come close to BWS in my oppinion. Im not saying its his best musical work of art, but its the album that means the most to me. but like Will says on the music vid collection: you can never get to much will smith :). that statement isn't true about his acting. some people here thinks Will is not to good an actor, but have you seen six degrees? just a kid with no acting experience and he pulled that off. he can do anything if he just really tries, and if he stops acting like "im here, see my name on the poster? thats all i have to do for this movie to make us millions of dollars". yes thats the feeling i get from him sometimes. i say make more serious roles, like six degrees, ali and hopefully happyness. even enemy of the state. But movies like I,robot? he should do academy award and "serious action" (read enemy kinda movies) and then every 5 year or so a BB or MIB movie to connect his current career with his past and to accnowledge the long time fans. I think lost and found was perfect as making the groundwork for a new/last album. saying this is wrong and im not going to do your thing just to be famous or make money. and then release a new/last album saying this is what i do. if he would release a last album theres two ways for him to go: 1. an album packed with guest stars who , by all beeing there, makes the statement that Will is a huge part of todays music industrys creation. and that they accnowledge the end of his 20 years in the biz and that they wont ruin it all. 2. the best ever: a JJFP album. doing every track togheter and bringing back ready rock and charlie mac and the 2 damn hype crew. inviting all the old fans to the party of a lifetime on the album. Just mad party tracks, full of energy, saying THIS is what we do. and maybe do summertime and tell me why saying THIS is the mark we want to leave in the music history. so... IF this is it for him in music, Ill always feel a real end is missing. As for movies, Ill support him for alot of years to come, but if he keeps making pretty much the same role in every movie he's in, Ill probably get a little tired of it. to sum it up, whatever happens, you will see me gettin jiggy wit it for the rest of my life even if i might not support every single thing he makes, Ill pretty much stay the same:) hows that for a long post?
  4. sounds like its about will, but seems more like illseed is making fun of wendy williams if you ask me. if its a joke or a statement to make fun of someone, it doesnt nessesery (spelled wrong?) need to be 100% accurate. and in case Illseed is making fun of williams then the facts about the rapper is only used to get people to remember something williams said, the rapper really doesn't have anything to do with it.
  5. hey viber, real nice avatar, or whatever its called! :2thumbs: does anyone have the sexy lady track? (with Will)? if so, maybe this should have its own topic.. but anyway.. my cd was stolen (together with bad boys soundtrack some other albums) a couple of years back during a party. I've replaced all the other cds but sexy lady is no where to be found here in sweden. I dont have a creditcard, and dont whant one, so i cant order it online from some other country. would be really great to have it for tonights party if thats possible. would be very thankfull for this track, i miss it :(
  6. I told you guys a loooooong time ago that i had the live performance with sisqo. you know the one where Will performs Freakin' it and a different version of wild wild west. What kept me from uploading it was that I switched to a new computer about a year ago and I haven't got around to put all the stuff from the old one on my external HD until now. acctually im not done yet... but anyway. Don't have much experience in uploading files like this but i tried rapidshare.de but it was too busy at the moment so I used rapidshare.com. I dont know if theres any difference and I dont know if it works at all. Will feat Sisqo live in case i messed up the link, heres what rapidshare told me: Your Download-Link #1: http://rapidshare.com/files/4224584/Will_S...From_.mpeg.html just copy and paste. Its something like 30-40 mbs. With the discussion about Will giving up music It feels like a good time for some joy. althou, if you download it, you have to make a promise... no matter where you are, in shool, at work or maybe some internet cafe... stand up, move your body and get jiggy wit it! if anyone asks why your dancing, just answer: IM FREAKIN' IT! :) really hope this works or Ill look kinda stupid... :paperbag:
  7. damn those links expires fast... :worried: whats the differences between this one and the one on the regular greatest hits?
  8. Havent heard this song in a couple of years now. would be really great if someone wanted to post it.
  9. great, be prepared for some really long posts.. Ill supersize them for you julie :leaving:
  10. anything off topic, right? Almost everytime i post a reply i feel it gets a little to long and that no one wants to read the whole thing..but i just cant stop before i say everything i want to. I'm not a member of to many forums, acctually just this and one other, so posting here about once a week is most of the forum-exercise i get. Besides my bad english and wanting to say things you don't want to hear (which I believe i haven't done yet), what do you feel i can do to make better posts? I very much like the way my posts are, but a forum is a place to interact, communicate and deliver a message while keeping the other party interested. I just find it so much easier to do this when seeing a person face to face, instead of like right now, when i cant read your reactions to determinate if you want me to continue or if you feel i shouldn't have started at all. to the point of the topic: does anyone have any tips or hints on how to make a forum post? or know about some site that tells you "this is good" and "dont do this"? or if you dont mind me making posts like i do then please let me know. i hope to hear from both tim, since after all this is his forum, long live the king :) as well as the people who make it a forum and not just an empty page. right now it feels like i made a post just like the ones i get the feeling you dont want to read... Ill stop now....
  11. Chris Rock is, atleast what i think, the absolute best! For Dave Chappelle i think you kinda need the video. i haven't heard much from him but i have seen alot of his scteches and from what i feel you need to see him act to really appreciate it. Eddie and Richard are moth great, they really made stand up popular, at least stand up by black people. acctually Chris Rock is kind of a newer version of Eddie murphy, and Eddie is a newer version of Richard. Eddie Izzard is superb. he's a little diffent than the other comedians, but just as funny. His brittish accent makes it even funnier, specially when he uses bad language with that accent. You have forgotten two of the best: Jerry Seinfeld. a little more houseclean than the others, doesnt swear alot. the strenght of seinfeld is his use of everyday stuff. not like other "did you notice that" guys who just makes you laugh about it, but seinfeld really makes you think about it and relate it to your own life and rules of society, which i think he does great without beeing black, saying f**k or being upset. I have to give a warning. if you hear or see seinfeld (tv show anyone?) to much, like me, youll never be able to go throu life without thinking about everything just like he does :)or accually thats just a hint for having a funnier life Robbin Williams. if you have seen films like mrs doubtfire or jumanii you might think of him as that nice protective man. guess again. on stage he lets out a monster that he almost cant control himself, youll hear him trying really hard to not get ahead of himself, trying to get a breath of air once in a while, cuz theres so much he wants to say. an example of something i find very funny: you know the signs in amusementparks that says you have to be this tall to go on a ride? how about robbin holding his hand about 1.3 meters of the floor saying " if you go to neverland, you have to be this tall to ride michael". you have to forget about morality and youll be unable to stop :) another very talented comedian is Norm McDonald, but i think he is a bit held back by his voice. Its the same no matter if he's happy or sad (it doesnt really get higher or lower if you understand what i mean) and he seems to have a hard time finding his words at times. his strenght lies within the jokes, not how they are delivered, which can be quite hard to fully enjoy sometimes. hope ive been to some help..
  12. hehe, yeah maybe thats true. i have to rent/buy hitch soon and watch the record video in the special features section. if im not misstaken theres some clips of him walking in to see the film after his hello speach, but maybe he, as you said, snuck out the back as soon as he got inside.
  13. that must have been a very short film. Can't have been a feature lenght film cuz then just watching it six times would make 12 hours, leaving no time to travel between the different premiers. And just be there to say "this is our movie, enjoy" and then leave, wouldn't really count as attending the premiere would it? anyway, keep in mind this is just a fun fact, not some life and death record. i know hos defensive you all can be when it comes to Will. :drunk: love that smiley
  14. How do you know they have visited? and if you really do, then do you know if they liked it? Is there any way all of us can get in to that talk will smith thing on wikipedia and show that annoying person that its not only one person who likes the site or tries to promote it? Does my memory fail me or wasn't this site mentioned in some newspaper once? I get the feeling that persons goal is not to make wikipedia better, but be a pain in the ass. Like those people who allways teamkills in online games or spam mail services untill they crash so no one can use them just to f**k with people. sorry for the language, but that guy kinda pissed me off. Whatever you think of this site or the store or whatever, it's still the best place to go for information. How many other sites (read forums) about Will are updated every minute of every day? The other sites only got a discography, some pictures, a messed up biography and the filmographies are almost always wrong or miss something. Dont get angry if you got a Will/JJFP site, i know there's exeptions. I'll stop now,... before you lose all interest..if you haven't fallen asleep yet... :leaving:
  15. i wish he would had done Phonebooth, Man on fire and Truth about charlie. The actors who got the parts did a great job, and im acctually not sure if Will would have pulled it off (exept for charlie). When will Colin Farrell get an academy award? :S It would have been good for Will to do some thrillers instead of all these big-budget-blow-everything-up-action-komedies.
  16. I'll stick to my James Dean and Marilyn Monroe calendars untill there's an official one for Will or JJFP.
  17. Star Wars ep. V Aliens Terminator 2
  18. I only see two ways to make this: 1. without will. the movie would be about brill, maybe someone from his past returns and things go wild. 2. a new character enters the plot, beeing hunted by the government and sees the newspaper article about Will (that is shown in the end of the movie). and will defends him in court and the gov tries to kill them. with or without brill.. but a sequel with the same plot as the first one... dont think so. the first one was to good to get a bad sequell. bad boys , theres where Will should make sequels. getting bad boys in the same category as die hard, beverly hills cop and lethal weapon. the best action series there is.
  19. has anyone heard Robbie Williams new song "rudebox" yet? check it out, u might like it, its more of a hip-hop track than his other songs.
  20. I guess most of you who download the instrumental songs are doing remixes or something... Maybe you need some a cappella versions to. I've only got WWW in a cappella, but If you need a song or have one, heres the place to post it. (i though there allready was a thread for this , but couldn't find any. so if there's allready one, then feel free to close this one)
  21. I think "could you love me" would have been a nice single. "tell me why" would be my first choice (and I think most of you feel me on this) but could u love me got that Will Smith feeling to it. When I first heard the L+F album, it was really great to here that Will still experiments with dirrerent sound and ways to do music. but when I heard could u love me I suddenly remembered BWS, W2K and B2R. theres something about that song or the music or something that feels like the old Will music (old solo music). even if i love it and think it would be a great single, It still lacks that special thing that makes a single succesfull. A single needs to be either a straight up party song, to be played in the clubs, or a romantic, serious, full-of-feelings song. Thats why Switch (the party song) should have been followed by Tell me why (the song that releases all those feelings).
  22. dont get me wrong, but lately I've gotten that feeling about FP to. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes It feels like all he does for his true fans (like us) is just enugh to keep us undissapointed. I cant recall anything special he's done since he took money out of his own pocket to make that video for one of the tracks on Willennium. but thats a topic of it's own. How did u contact Kel? give him my regards, his stuff is great. :wiggle: do you think there is any chance at all he could convince Will (they seem to know each other from what I understand) to maybe give ONE of his unreleased tracks (from JJFP till today) to JJFP.com? it's still the ten years anniversary right? after all we are his biggest fans, and will support him no matter what. I know this ide is a little unbelievible or "out there"... but just came to think of it...
  23. for me its kinda hard to say how long I've been a fan. used to watch FPOBA every night when I was a kid, but back then, when I was so young, I didnt really understand that Will was a real person, just a character in a funny tv-series. then I saw ID4 when it hit the theaters and both me and my friends I saw it with sad "hey, thats the guy in fresh prince isnt it?!". then came MIB and BWS (my first FP album, the reason why I love it more than anything) and I was hooked. I sat in front of the TV to see FP every show, but I guess I didnt become what u call a fan until 96 or 97 when I was ten/eleven and realized who the fresh prince really was. Now when you hear or see a new talent u know who that person is at once, or find out their name soon. but back then (when you're so young) a celebrity wasn't just a regular person who got famous. It was like.. I dont know how to explain it, but finding out who Will was and what he had done before was a great feeling when everything around me was new and unexplored. I think you understand why i like Will so much, since he pretty much was the reason that I understood that there was a world outside of my home and daycare. if that makes any sence...
