  1. I would record it, but this thread was pushed down and I only just noticed it. I'll keep a lookout, but I don't see Will listed to appear on the show notes.
  2. Completely agree... Even taking things a little further, I think that not only should rappers stop talking about these things, but they should stop living them as well. Being an example is very important. We see rappers sporting half a million dollar chains and other forms of jewelry and people want to emulate that sort of gratuitous life style: not just kids, but black people as a whole. Rappers can talk about financial responsibility ad nauseam, but until they demonstrate financial responsibility, their words are almost meaningless. It'll take action to drive this point across, not simply words; talk about it, then turn around and actually live it.
  3. I don't see the King doing anything this year. Artest was a great addition for them, but we are talking about the Spurs here. The best chance for an upset in the West would be the Clips vs Nuggets, and it's wouldn't even really be an upset, because though the Nuggets have a higher seed, they don't have home court. The Laker vs. Suns games are going to be good. Sun will most likely win, but they're not an easy lock. Kobe Bryant's playing... so anything can happen.
  4. Yea, oftentimes, when you want to get things exacty as you would like, you're going to have to create multiple css files to specify those settings for those specific regions. Dreamweaver isn't too bad though. Once you get the hang of it, it makes things a lot easier, and it's always fun to experiment. If you really want to challenge yourself, start creating things in flash. That's the best program ever.
  5. naaaa, just willreign brought it back up for them, he's been in the army if I remember rightyl :2thumbs: Lol, and bea and markwinfield?
  6. Did you guys miss the date on this?
  7. I have absolutely no idea. I only recently started using it and it seems cool; it has a couple of cool features like direct connect though.
  8. Thanks man. The quality's great. Where did you get such a high quality version? I wasn't able to find one anywhere,
  9. I didn't see it, but I heard that the movie was horrible... a lot of sources at that...
  10. I had a look looking team at the beginning of the year, but I had so many injuries, it was ridiculous... Maggette, Darius Miles, Mihm and others.. What really killed me was that Garnett started missing games at the end of the season, and he was my main rebounding man, so I didn't really have much of a chance in the playoffs. Ah well, we'll do it again next year.
  11. i got Switch even better quality than P S :wiggle: ... but i am not sure i can upload it ,it's so damn big ...anyway i am gonna try :1-say-yes: Fresh from Sophia, if you have Imesh, we can direct connect, I can download it overnight or something so that I don't kill your broadband speeds, and you wouldn't have to take your time to upload it. How big is the file?
  12. Does anyone know where I could find Switch in high quality divx or xvid? I'd even settle for mpeg2 inspite of the file size.
  13. Oh... I was in Ebony Magazine a few years back... This black high school seniors thing. I was applying for college scholarships, and my guidance counselor got me to apply to for one that Ebony was offering, so I applied, thinking there was money involved, and won along with like 15 or so other people around the US. At the time, I was applying for so much stuff that I didn't really read all the awards stuff, so when they sent me the letter, I thought I was getting money, but it was only an appearance in the magazine. But it was cool. The picture I posted was from the photoshoot, and it appeared in the magazine along with a short write up. They wanted to take the picture in a setting that would reflect what the students were going to study in college, so they had me in the Chem lab, and the photographer thought it'd be cute if I wore a lab apron. :paperbag:
  14. Larry Elders is a joke. He brings up the AIDS thing every time he refers to Will Smith. He's a Republican who thinks the President is doing a great job... draw your own conclusions...
  15. Haha, I was in the Chem lab, thus the lab apron. I actually should have been wearing goggles and gloves as well, but that would have killed the point of the picture...
  16. That's me a few years back. There's an interesting story about that pict, but if anyone want to hear it, I'll give it later.
  17. Haha, good job Brakes. Congrats.
  18. Ted... Lol... We'll definitely keep you in our thoughts and prayers Gary. It seems that things have taken a slight turn for the positive, and I hope that continues.
  19. Guys, I'm willing to bet that Ted will be along soon... anyone wanna take me up on that? Lol Anyway, Will doesn't get the respect he deserves in hip hop largely because of the content of his music. Hip hop has become a culture focused on material things: ice, whips, clothes, and women (considering that are often treated like objects.) Will's never been that kind of rapper, but since that's what the culture is infatuated with, it is undoubtedly be hard for an artist like Will to do well. The lack of "hard hitting lyrics" is another reason he doesn't get much love in hip hop. The lyrics in songs have become so profane and lewd that it's gotten to the point where the absence of such lyrics is seen as abnormal. There's a notion that if anyone can listen to it, it's not really exciting. The more lyrics push the envelope, generally the more popular they are. There are, in fact, a number of reasons why Will doesn't get much respect, but those I addressed seem to be the most glaring examples.
  20. You're a good two and a half hours late...
