Mariah Carey was in New York on Tuesday for a video shoot and posed outside the Plaza Hotel and dressed up as rapper Eminem. This is not your everyday poseur Eminem wannabe - it's Mariah Carey, who dressed as the controversial rapper while filming her new video "Obsessed" in New York today. You may recall that in Eminem's "Bagpipes From Baghdad" song, he warns Carey's husband, Nick Cannon, to "back the f--- up." Eminem has targeted Carey for special abuse in his raps for years, while Carey denies the two ever had a relationship. Now, Carey has fired back. In "Obsessed," she doesn't mention him by name, but asks, "Why are you obsessed with me/lying that you're sexing me?" But with this video, it's time for Eminem and Mariah Carey to call a truce. I think it's an easy question. People just know Will Smith as an actor, so when they discover he is also a rapper they laugh. Mainly because they think they can judge him without even having listened to any of his songs (the 'FPOBA' theme doesn't count), or without even knowing what Hip Hop is. I'm sure most of them don't know how important 'DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince' were for Hip Hop and the only rapper they know it's Eminem.
