  1. In my opinion, no. You ask a teenager with no Hip Hop knowledge who is Rakim and he doesn't know. You ask that teenager who is Eminem and he knows it, or maybe the only Rap album he owns is the '8 Mile' soundtrack. That teenager will say that Eminem is the best rapper ever, without even being able to name more than 5 rappers. Now change that teenager for millions, and you'll see the impact Em has made. Eminem is a showman. Why would I take him seriously?
  2. Then I could say you think he isn't overrated because you like him  Eminem is probably the most popular MC in the world. He sells alot, while others as good as him don't get the recognition he gets.
  3. Its all entertainment Ale! Would you criticise a comedian for making fun of someone? Yes, especially when that comedian himself is a joke. Eminem has made a career of this.
  4. I think people overrate Em too much, even when he makes poor songs like this.
  5. Happy B-day dude! I'll be listening to your album all day today :)
  6. Happy Birthday "French" Prince!!! ;)
  7. Exactly. His movies are monotone. They all look the same to me. When will we see Denzel in a comedy? I think people would like him more if he played different roles, different genres. I'm sure he could do a comedy if he wanted to, but he hasn't tried it yet.
  8. Nice trailer. Looks promising. Is this movie based on the 'Fallout 3' game? Because it's identical... That's a bit exaggerated IMO. I like Denzel. I think he's an excellent actor, but I wouldn't consider him better than other great actors like Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, Marlon Brando, Paul Newman or Tom Hanks, just to name a few. I don't consider him worse than them either. But while the actors I mentioned have given brilliant performances throughout their careers and have an incredible filmography full of unforgettable titles which are part of the history of cinema, I'd say Denzel's movies are, in general, mediocre. Again, don't get me wrong. Denzel is an excellent actor, but I wouldn't say he's the best ever. In fact, I believe the best actor ever doesn't exist. There are many candidates for that, and each of them is as good as the rest.
  9. Now, I've seen it all... :boxedin: :boxedin: :boxedin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUgyzag6fUM
  10. I thought the same thing when I heard it. That's crazy. I'll never understand why things like this happen.
  11. I heard it on the news, they said it could have been a possible cause of death for MJ. More info here: http://www.examiner.com/x-7070-Web-Buzz-Examiner~y2009m7d2-Michael-Jackson-suicide-autopsy-coverup-rumor http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/michael-jackson/5832086/Michael-Jackson-kept-suicide-note.html
  12. Am I the only 1 who can't see anything on Will's Wall right now ? :boggled:
  13. I know what you mean, and, believe me, I agree with what you're saying. But I think 'Bad Boys 3' could work, as long as they make it as enjoyable as the first two movies. I don't think it would be a step back in Will's career like going from 'ALI' to 'Men In Black II' to be honest.
  14. If this is true, I'm very glad it wasn't suicide like some people were saying.
  15. Well, he looks very different from the way he looked in the seventies, yeah. MJ also looks very different from the nineties, isn't it?
  16. Freddie Mercury, vocalist of 'Queen'. Never heard of him? :lookaround:
  17. Another video from the premiere that I wanted to share: (Will & his dad)
  18. Denzel Washington to Star in Barack Obama Biopic http://www.worstpreviews.com/headline.php?id=14409&count=0
  19. I think we'll see 'Transformers 3' before 'Bad Boys 3'. Shame.
  20. That's true too  I found an article which says that Will's facebook page is one of the most populars:
  21. Here's the full story for those who want to read it: We then started to tour off the first album. We met many cities, states and countries for tours and perfomances in front of thousands of people. While traveling on the road, we wasted no time and began to work on our second album. Being on the road was a great experince. It was now time to record the second album and it was Titled, "He's the DJ I'm the Rapper". What happen to "Hes the Beat Box" or "Featureing Ready Rock C"? I shared part in the idea, "Parents Just Don't Understand"! This was another hit single released off the album that I co wrote and produced. We continued to tour and climbed up the music charts in sales. At this point, things began to change. Suddenly Will and I began to drift apart. There was a huge transformation in Wills ego. It seemed as though the more success the group gained, the more his ego grew. Mean while, Jazzy and I remained pretty level. I made many friends and Acquaintances while touring which caused me and Will's friendship to futher distance. One of the friends I gained on tour was Jam Master Jay ( Jason Mizell) of the group Run DMC. Jam Master Jay became like a mentor to me and I spent alot of time on Run DMC's tour bus just to clear my head. At the point of our second album release, "Rush management" was part of the deal. Russel Simmons thought it would be a great idea for me to Beat box a remix version of "Treat Her Like A Prostitute". This song was written and performed by Slick Rick. Hank Shocklee was the studio engineer of this project. I was excited about this remix and thought to ask Will for his opinion on it. Wills response was, "You don't think Slick Rick Raps better than me do you Ready?" I replied "No". Mean while we continued on the "Runs House Tour" and we continued to blow up the spot. As time passed, the tour was slowing down a bit and we took a break. We finally went home for about a week or so to rest. I was happy to see home town friends and family. During our rest time, Will and I met together alone. It was at this time Will said to me I would no longer be needed in the Group. I asked Will why and his reply was that Beat Boxing is played out. I thought to myself how lame. After all, I did much more than beat box. As metioned earlier, I produced songs and co wrote one of our major hits which was titled"Parents Just Dont Understand". If I never contributed that great idea maybe Will Smith might have not gained all of the other success in his carreer and all of the finer things in life! After witnessing everyone from the Hypnotic 3 days being cut from the group I never imagined that I would also be caught in Will Smith's line of fire ! ----- I also found this on the site: All celebrities love fan mail, but... did ya know that out of thousands and thousands of fan mail letters, Ready Rock C only received one and that was by accident. Ready says that Will did not want him to know that he had fans too. ----- Plus, there are also some cool pictures here! http://readyrockc.moonfruit.com/#/photos/4509897092
