As for PE. Well how the hell a couple of dudes in their mid to late 40s have the energy to pull off a 2 hour show i dont know, Much respect to Chuck D. Still word for word spitting his tunes perfectly. It is the 20th anniversary of It Takes A Nation... So they performed the whole album straight through. With a bit of banter between songs. Chuck D is a legend simple as. For the 20 minute encore they performed other hits in a medley, He Got Game, Fight The Power, 911 is a joke, Public Enemy No.1, Shut 'Em Down. Was so energectic filled. Wasn't as close as the night before but it didnt matter cos the crowd was rocking all over. Flava even had the energy to stage dive and crowd surf at one point.

Yeh man, this is a proper Old School time for me. Great to see groups like this still performing. Here is a few pics from the De La Show. We got pretty dam close to the front which was cool. They knocked out a good collection of hits and medleys of others. Maseo has great skills at hyping a crowd. I messaged Pos on the De La myspace to say what a great show it was and he replied saying "glad you enjoyed it as much as we did" You could tell they still loved what they are doing after all these years.

Its just straight up Bull**** that they couldn't reschedule.

So Much fun, man i have a sore throat from all the screaming they made us do, lol. Will get some photos up tommorow after i have seen Public Enemy tonight. Awesome week

Cheers dude. De la Soul 2nite. Can't wait. Alot of people go see them just for the sake of it being retro and cool these days, But for me im a proper fan who owns several albums so will enjoy the more i think. Same goes with Public Enemy tommorow. Gonna be a continued awesome week. Busy everyday

Thanks everybody. Had a great night out with my friends. Photos on Bookface/Myspaz soon enough. Got the whole week booked off work and going to see De La Soul and Public Enemy in a few days. Also got a BBQ at my parents place coming up so will be good to see my old hometown friends. Gonna be a good week.

A friend of mine has had to pull out due to lack of money. So i have a ticket for their show next Wednesday 28th May in Nottingham. Hardly practical being a weeknight in a City nobody is that close to, but i thought I'd take the chance.

Well i'd like to say im excited again. But i can't help but feel like a tool and bad for you still dude.

I applied for a code to get tickets, but assuming i was going to the London premier instead gave that code away

One terrible thing that could come out of this is the London Premier gets cancelled, but yet they perform at the Nelson Mandela show. Which we have giving up our chance of tickets for. That would be a kick in the teeth to any proper fan

Yeh, you would assume they would reschedule. I should be cool with re-arranging my time off work, but dont think it'll be that simple for everyone. This really blows.

I assume whatever one comes first when the movie is done will be. Im very worried myself about the 18th in London now. We need to find out.

That completley and utterly sucks. This could have a knock on effect for all other Premiers. So everybody keep looking around for news. All i can say Tim is im sorry.
