Big Willie Style was a good album, but it doesn't even compare to Lost and Found. There are so many more topics discussed on Lost and Found, it is one of the greatest albums of all time in my opinion. His lyrics and issues are just so far more advanced on Lost and Found than on Big Willie Style.

Right now, Kanye West is not a legend. While I do think he is a bit overrated and cocky, he is bringing awareness to socially conscious rap back in the spotlight, which is good. He does have a positive message to convey, which is good, but no one is a legend after just one album. Check in 10 years, and then decide if he is a legend or not.

He doesn't contribute to the positive message that MC's like Will are trying to put out in hip-hop, which is the main reason why he isn't appreciated on this board.

Something new by Nas on the radio, its pretty good.

His last album sucked, Just Lose It and Ass Like That were horrible songs, good to give it up before he sinks any lower, just proves how hard it is to stand the test of time in rap today, but Will has.

Well, that is not the only reason people in this forum don't like him, it is because he gets so much attention and sales that he doesn't deserve, I think he is way overrated. The Mockingbird song, Will did Just the Two of Us a long time ago, and people make a big deal when Em does a song about his kid. He represents what is wrong with hip-hop today.

Yeah, he has talent, but he never really has done anything with it, unfortunately for him.

I give Kanye credit for good songs like All Falls Down and Jesus Walks, but he is not that great. Everyone says how refreshing it is to have someone in the rap game that doesn't talk guns, sex, etc, but Will has been doing it his entire career. Why won't people recognize that?

That's interesting, because the single I thought, Like That, produced by Swizz Beats, was horrible. The beat was hot, but the lyrics were wack. I don't know, maybe he is a decent mc after all.

I hope so too, the more songs out at once, the better.

The best albums don't always sell the most. Lost and Found is infinitely better than Mike Jones' album, but Mike Jones still has sold more. 50's album was trash, but it is 4 times platinum, or something like that. It is a sad truth in today's music industry.

Kanye is good, but he thinks too much of himself, and Diamonds isn't that good, although the remix is.

I think it is, and from the pic in the article, it looked like that he might have been on it.

He's decent, but I do think he is a bit overrated.

Yeah, Party Starter is so much better than Switch, hopefully the sales will reflect that.

453,640 is a lot of albums to sell, especially after it has been out for 3 and a half months. Once Party Starter really hits we will know how long it will take for it to go platinum.

I think it would be great if Party Starter was on MTV Making the Video. It only means more publicity for the album, and sales will go up!
