  1. I'm not sure there will be MIB3. Barry Sonnefield, the director for both MIB movies, was not too thrilled about doing a third one. The perfect circumstances will have to happen for the movie to be a go. The main thing will be a script that is great for all parties involved(Will, Tommy Lee Jones & Sonnifield). If I had to assign a percentage for this then I would say there's about a 20% chance that there'll be an MIB 3.
  2. The thing that did it for me was the video. The video was crazy and that's what drew me into the song. The song itself is addictive... and I can't explain why. It's breezy and fun. The beat is pulsating. I really love that song.
  3. Steelers 24, Seahawks 14 NOSTRADAMUS HAS SPOKEN....
  4. De La Soul - Stakes Is High, The Grind Date Talib Kweli - Quality The Roots - Things Fall Apart Common - One Day It'll All Make Sense, Like Water For Chocolate, BE Mos Def - Black On Both Sides A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory, Midnight Marauders
  5. I'm not surprised at all that Star Wars got snubbed. Most of these award shows choose "indie" type films and films that get a lot of "critical" acclaim but maybe not a lot of box-office love. Star Wars should have been nominated for Special Effects at least. Most of the movies nominated are most that your average moviegoer doesn't see. That being said, I hope Crash takes the Oscar for Best Movie. That movie, along with Syriana were the two best films of the year. I'm livid over the fact my man Don Cheadle was not nominated for Crash.
  6. Wow, Will is really getting gray-haired. He's only 37. I am now concerned that this will happen to me as well. I don't think I'm ready for a beard full of gray. I'm only 30, dammit!! :lolsign:
  7. Max, You made some excellent points. When MJ met his wife, she got pregnant before he married her and the press found out about it. They kept it under wraps and never talked about until much, much later. It's also true that Jordan was a bit of a tyrant as a teammate. Horace Grant did an interview several years ago and said if you don't have the stomach and the fortitude to deal with Jordan, then he'll run you out of the league. Jordan was very hard on a lot of his teammates because his will to win was so great. He figured that everyone should have the will to win like him and it made for some tense situations. He used to get in Bill Cartwright's face a lot until Bill pulled Michael aside after practice one day and threatened to break both of Michael's legs if Michael got in his face again. Michael also decked Steve Kerr in the eye during practice. 3Cookies, I'm like you. I'm very big on committment and infidelity is a deal-breaker for me. I've been cheated on and it's heartbreaking. I'm at that age now(I'll be 31 in May) where I don't have time for the foolishness and the bull****. I don't have time for immature women and women who don't know what they want.
  8. Michael admitted to an affair sometime in 2002. She filed for divorced but they worked it out. The woman that Michael cheated on his wife with was not all that cute to me. I think he has a beautiful wife. He was very remorseful about the affair and has since kept out of trouble. Infidelity happens and some people can forgive and move past that. I am not one of those people.
  9. As of December 2, 2005, Will's big '05 hit, Switch, was certified triple-platinume by the RIAA for digital sales. Switch has now racked up over 600,000 legal downloads. Add that with the eventual platinum certification for Lost & Found and I'd say that Will had a very successful year despite the media blackout. Congrats, Will!
  10. Yes Kobe has been named to 5 All-Defensive teams but I could have named to the All-Defensive team if I had Shaq as the last line of defense. All of Kobe's accomplishments have come because of having Shaq as a teammate for all of those years. He was nowhere to be found on the Defensive Team last year and was named to the All-NBA THIRD Team. He's a great talent but he's not a leader. He'll average 35-40ppg and possibly put the Lakers in the playoffs. They'll be a first-round exit. Again, when he leads a team to a championship or two... or six, win 5 MVPs, 6 NBA Finals MVP, 10 Scoring Titles, a 13-time All-Star, a 9-time All-Defensive First Team Selection, a 3-time All-Star Game MVP, win Defensive Player Of The Year and countless other awards then get back at me.
  11. I'm seriously upset that Flav got rid of Sweetie. She was about the realest one on there. She got pissed when Flav cut her. New York would have been axed on the first show if I was in charge but hey I know what's going on. It's a hilarious show to say the least. I like Hoopz too. She should win it but I've got a funny feeling that she's going to get cut. She lied to Flav's mom about what she does. I believe she's one of those model types that has their own website or something.
  12. I guess I'm going to be the lone voice here and say that Kobe's performance was NOT impressive. For one man to score 81 points in a basketball game means that there was no team concept at all. The other reason why I don't find it impressive is that the Toronto Raptors... ARE THE WORST TEAM IN THE NBA!!!! They play absolutely no defense and it was apparent that they played no defense on Sunday night. Kobe was just jacking up shots(btw, he threw up 46 shots) and everybody just decided to stop playing. I won't rank it as an all-time great individual performance because it was a meaningless regular season game where the opponent did absolutely nothing to get in his way. In my mind it ranks behind Wilt Chamberlin's 100-point night because Wilt did in a time where the black athlete was still considered to be "inferior". I put it behind Jordan's 63-point performance in the playoffs because well... it was the playoffs and it was against a Boston Celtics team that played great defense and would eventually win the NBA title in 1986. I'm sure ESPN and everyone else will be salivating over the performance but when Kobe does the following in ONE year then get back to me: Win the NBA Scoring title(35 points per game) Win the NBA Slam Dunk Contest Win the NBA All-Star Game MVP Be voted as a starter to the East All-Star Team Be voted to the All-NBA First Team Be voted to the NBA All-Defensive Team Lead the NBA in steals Win the NBA Defensive Player Of The Year Win the NBA Most Valuable Player Award Who did this? Who else - Michael Jordan... in 1988.
  13. Hey Will Is Ill, The pictures are back up now. BTW, I saw that "reporter" feeling up my future wife. My "representatives" and are going to "work" the situation out. :willvspaparazzi: :bat: :chuks: :ShockRifle: :mikelowery:
  14. New pictures of the future Mrs. TopDawg... Scarlett Johansson Click the links: S. Johansson 1 S. Johansson 2 S. Johansson 3 S. Johansson 4
  15. While I don't think that my eventual soulmate would make me choose, I would probably choose my soulmate... especially if my soulmate was Scarlett Johannson. :lolsign:
  16. I really liked The Island, too. A lot of cats slept on this movie. And I must say that Scarlett Johansson is the future Mrs. TopDawg... she just doesn't know it yet. She is THE TRUTH!!!
  17. Has anyone seen Flavor of Love with Flava Flav? This has to be the funniest show on VH1. I wasn't going to watch it at first but something told me to tune in. I haven't stopped laughing yet. The fact that VH1 could find 20 women who would want to actually participate is the kicker. Props to VH1 for this one. FLAVA FLAV!!!! YEAH BOY!!!! :lolsign:

  19. To meet, marry and make a good woman out of Angelina Jolie. :lolsign:
  20. That was an exciting game. Even though the new year is only 5 days old, I'd like to nominate USC Coach Pete Carroll for Bonehead of the Year. How in the world do you go for it on 4th and 2 in the 4th quarter?!?!?! USC deserved to lose that game. Much props to Vince Young.
  21. Why are cats(not the ones on this board) so concernced about ghostwriting all of a sudden when most of today's rappers are having their lyrics written for them(did I hear someone say Bow Wow)? And I agree with Ted, a lot of old-school rappers had their rhymes written for them. I mean nobody really thinks that Puffy or JD writes their own rhymes. What about Dr. Dre during his days with NWA. It's a known fact that MC Ren & Ice Cube wrote Dre's rhymes. MC Ren wrote a lot of Eazy E's rhymes as well. It happens. The only difference now is that these "ghostwriters" are trying to get shine now. I kinda hope that they expose all of these wack rappers in the game now. I can't blame them either. I mean they write all of these songs and it's the talent-less bums that's getting credit. Really, I could care less. I just want to see a change in the lyrics.
  22. (Thinking to myself): "That girl is crazy.... but she is fine." "I can't get with crazy girls... but she's wearing the heck out of those dresses." "I can always get her a subscription for Prozac."
  23. It's pretty close between 50 Cent & Bow Wow. Keep voting and responding!!
