The problem isnt even really the artists, its the fans and record labels, because the labels know what kind of rapper the fans want, and the fans know what they want, so a label isnt gonna take a chance on signing some deep lyriced MC, which I know have got to be out there still, over a ghetto thug because they know the thug will go over better with the fans

man i cussed once and sometime a swear just has to fit in, somtimes theres a space inbetween rhymes where a swear enhances the rhyme and another word would just weaken the flow

Ted I'm with ya KRS-one=Great MC, Nas also his lyrics are deep, meaningful and straight out dope, Rakim another dope lyriced MC, LL Cool J-GOAT but theres one person I dont think aybody mentioned now correct me if I'm wrong but Ice Cube in my opinion is one of the greatest rappers ever, Even if his rhymes were a little off on meaning the lyrics were all tight, with his gangsta attitude and insane lyrics you've gotta put him up there right? And not to start a fight here I know alot of people dont like him or respect him but Eminem has some pretty dope rhymes
