  8. Will Smith was faced with a very tough decision last year. He could either zip up his flight suit and take on aliens once again in Independence Day: Resurgence, a sequel to his smash hit 1996 blockbuster ID4, or he could cover his entire face and blast aliens of a different race in DC Films' Suicide Squad. As we all know, he chose the later, and that seems to have been the better option. Though, many wonder why he chose to go with Deadshot instead of Captain Steven "Steve" Hiller, USMC. Hiller did, after all, put him on the map as one of Hollywood's most bankable stars. But that may have been the problem. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor explains his decision in moving forward with a new franchise as opposed to returning to the past. This Christmas, Will Smith stars in the spiritual sequel to his 2008 drama Seven Pounds with Collateral Beauty. It arrives in theaters just as Suicide Squad is coming home on VOD and Blu-ray. Speaking from Facebook headquarters, he told fans that he wanted, most of all, to go in a bold new direction. He explains. Because Will Smith didn't return in Independence Day Resurgence, director Roland Emmerich decided to have his character killed off-screen. So there's probably no chance Smith will return in the planned ID4 3, which might not even happen due to the twenty-years late sequel being a bomb at the box office. One Smith very narrowly missed. Even though some critics and a few fans had their issues with Suicide Squad, at the end of the day, it's being considered a hit for Warner Bros. and DC Films. Suicide Squad arrives on the home market with an extended cut not seen in theaters. It puts over 10 minutes of new footage back into the movie, with Will Smith's Deadshot getting a little more screen time. There have been rumored that he'll show back up as Deadshot in Ben Affleck's The Batman, but that hasn't been confirmed. Smith is currently shooting the original crime drama fantasy Bright for Suicide Squad director David Ayer, which will debut on Netflix next year. He will then begin shooting Bad Boys 3, tentatively called Bad Boys for Life, with Martin Lawrence in the first half of 2017. Suicide Squad 2 is expected to be announced any day now. And it will surely bring Will Smith back into the fold, as he was a bright spot in the original. Collateral Beauty opens December 16 alongside Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. 9. Yeah I'm having the same problem. I can't seem to log in.
  10. I went to see it yesterday and I liked it. It felt like a Will Smith movie... I thought he would just have some scenes in this movie but it's basically all about him and Margot. So I was suprised! Will this be in my top 5 of WS movies? Not really, but it's still a fun movie to watch!
  11. I know it's a WS app but I am wondering why they didn't include the JJFP albums... Does anyone have an mp3 of "Caution in the wild"?
  12. I hope he uses it to release new songs or freestyles...
  13. I'm loving this song man! Dope stuff! And the app is cool as well. I'm wondering if it will just be 1 song... I get the feeling this song was supposed to be on the Suicide Squad soundtrack.
  14. New app & music for the Facebook Crew! Much more to come…stay tuned! iOS version at http://bzng.us/iosWS and Android version at http://bzng.us/androidWS
  15. New music from Will!!! Check his facebook to download the Will Smith app and hear his new song "Caution in the wild".
  16. Nice lists, great topic! I have these albums in my car at the moment: 1. G-eazy - When It's Dark Out 2. Pusha T - Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude 3. Kendrick Lamar - Untitled Unmastered 4. Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead 5. JJFP - Code Red
  17. Thanx for posting this man! I never heard this one before! Love it!
  18. It's great seeing him do Fiesta live! Now just give us the damn tour already!
  19. Thanx 4 posting the link! Love the video!
  20. Thanx for this list. I own a lot of these albums. I can't say I agree with the order of the list and some of the albums I would definitely leave out. I can see how people think the 90's are the golden ages of Hip Hop but I grew up listening to Hip Hop in 2000's and late 90's so I can relate to those albums more. Albums like Big Willie Style, Willennium, Stillmatic, The Blueprint, The Black Album, Hell Hath No Fury, Food & Liquor, Train Of Thought, The Marshall Mathers LP, Be... are the albums I grew up with and bring me back to my teenage years. I still listen to them these days. I can appreciate some of the albums that dropped in last 3 to 5 years. Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, My Name Is My Name, These Things Happen, Yeezus, Watch The Throne... are among my favorites. One thing I can't understand is why people keep talking about "To Pimp A Butterfly". Sure, the album is good but is it better than Good Kid, M.A.A.D City? I don't think so. Is it the best album of the millennium? Not in my opinion.
