1. I work 2 jobs now, I work at the Dollar General General and Kmart stores, stocking shelves, sometimes it gets pretty tiring, but when I get 2 paychecks on Friday it's all good. I still live at home wit my parents too so I'm able to save my money a lil' better. I'm taking a college course at home too for computer programming so after I graduate from there I'll be gettin' a better paying job.
2. Well beats are really supposed to be the compliment to the song, if it's a love song the beat would be mellow it wouldn't be sounding fast like a club beat like it would if you were trying to be more aggressive in your delivery. I just write emotions that I feel in my life so my rhymes are very poetic and telling a story,I don't need beats to write songs, but when I start recording my songs I already know the pace of the song so I feel that it would make sense when it comes time 4 me 2 record my songs one day it won't b hard 2 find a beat that would compliment. :werd: :dj:
3. I think that there's enough Will Smith greatest hits albums out already, I thought that Sony shouldn't have released "Willl Smith Greatest Hits" album out at that time, it didn't make sense to me. I didn't buy the album since I have "Big Willie Style", "Willenium", and "Born II Reign" already. How can u have a greatest hits album that spans only 5 years(1997-2002)? That's why I don't 100% like your idea AJ, but I do like that point about the unreleased tracks being released, that should be done a seperate CD. When JJ&FP reach their 20th anniversary, they should release a CD/DVD to honor their solo and group work too, it'll give fans more of an idea that Jazzy Jeff works just as hard as Will does on his music even though his solo projects don't have the same success that Will has had with his solo projects! :werd:
4. Shaq was traded to the Miami Heat for Brian Grant, Lamar Odom, and Caron Butler who went to the Lakers, they're good players, but not great players like Shaq is so the Lakers will be worse and the Heat will be better. The Lakers recently signed Vlade Divac from the Sacromento Kings recently to replace Shaq at the center position, but even when Vlade Divac was in his prime he never averaged close to 25-30 points a game like Shaq has been doing. Vlade Divac actually had some solid years with the Charlotte Hornets, but he's just an average center on the Western Conference, Brian Grant was the starting center with the Heat last year and played well but he won't be on the Lakers 'cause the western Conference is more physical now than the eastern conference is. Back in the '90s the Eastern Conference had more solid physical players like Patrick Ewing, Shaq, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo, Derrick Coleman, Charles Oakley, Dennis Rodman, Anthony Mason, etc., but now most of the physical players are in the Western Conference: Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Chris Webber, Dirk Niwitski, etc.
5. I don't watch the news much either except for when I eat dinner with my parents, they're always watching the news and it always talks about the war in Iraq and the U.S. Presidential election, we all know that the news is depressing but it's allright to watch it once in a while to stay informed, especially since I'm trying to decide who I'm gonna vote for in the November election, even though I basically know who I'm gonna vote for already.
6. Through all the playoff rounds
Fools crawl and stay on the ground
The tools are raw to display the sound
Musical rules for y'all to play on now
It's hard to rip flames
If you come soft on the move with the mixtape
The hardness is lost when you fix the game
It's a bigger cost if you win the game
Dishonestly then you don't know your heart to live the honest way
I know you criticize a lot of the **** I say
But you know I don't fool twice on the spot that I polish my game
The knowledge I gain
Is the homage I gave
Like a veteran I maintain
It's not about dollars I make
I'm not poppin' collars today
You got dollars, but what else did you gain?
Your dignity is vain
To become the envy of a waste
You're empty and a shame
You're sad 'cause I didn't take your virginity away
Why don't you shut your crying and grow up, you lame
All these young bucks are two face
One minute they're all cool and great
'Cause they hide that foolish attitude of their space
Which hold nothin' true for their case
To debate that they hold their own name
They just stay on to immitate
I've been hearin' your garbage for a long time
Why is it hard to rip a strong rhyme?
I make it look simplistic
I take the hook to transistion
The other squads don't look to position
So I'm running all over them
Yo, I ain't a point guard from Brooklyn
But y'all doubt in your art of passion
I got the route to spark the rapping
Like Mark Jackson when he darts the passes
Or Marbury bringin' the Garden frenzy
When them lames were fakin' ****
And overrated like J.Kidd
You'll never find a way to fade this
Not much time does it take me to create lyrics
That's how I'm stay in the business
I'm the hardest workin' rapper on this board
When I'm always comin' back for more
To make competition crawl flat when they're sore
After takin' hits from my raw jabs, they'll be rappin' no more
7. What happened to this battle? Big Ted and j-o-e are the only ones
That got the clearest handle when it comes to competition look pitifully dumb
Where's everyone else at to exercise
They must be eating too much burger and fries
That makes typing your flow such an overexertion of your mind
So what if this don't count
I'm here to show y'all what my flow's all about
I don't just post a verse one day and not rhyme for the next 2 months
Even when I'm at work 2day, I'll take some time out to freestyle/write down stuff
'Cause I've been rhymin' way before I've been posting here
I wanna y'all to realise that my love for hip-hop is what makes my goals clear
I don't like the direction it's gone
So it's up to me to spear it back to the lyrical quest's that's strong
I wanna turn on the hip-hop fans that've been fiending for the realest rap so long
This is about the peeps
Not just about me
So if you're not a lyricist, it's ok
For y'all that show love for Big Ted, I rep for y'all anyway
I don't ask for a lot just respect
'Cause I work for my own check
So providing for myself and fam is always correct
And if you stand 4 somethin', I give u nuff respect
8. I'm not the one to settle down
Like 2Pac I Get around
I'm the one that you'll find out of bounds
I always get to the endzone when it counts
Try analyzin' the flow and respect this now
I never let anyone take advantage
If you ever tryin' the front, I penetrate damage
Wreckin' crews that try to shine so much, is the way I handle it
I look at them like my ex-girlfriends that didn't show love to me
They ain't nothin' from me
They'll say that they love me
Since I'm more successful than them
That's fine wit me, more stress on them
I don't let that get to me, that's what sepeartes the best from the rest
I'm a fiend for my hip-hop stuff, like the druggies are on the corner for their blunt
You won't find me drunk or high, I got more priorities in my life
That's I always come back like your favorite rapper
And if your hatin' dumb ass doesn't like the way I track my words
Let's see then if you can come back to jab better
Than my display and if you can't then don't say a damn word
This is my stage let me get on and give the die hard fans more
That's right I'll go to your wack concert
And take ya mic and it'll turn your fans over
Damn right, I'm better than a lot of these platinum rappers
That's why I ain't afraid of them
I'll step right on the stage to blaze them
9. KRS-ONE may not be a multiplatinum hip-hop artist like Will Smith but he's been in the game as long and has impacted the game as strong as Will has, and like Will he's still going strong, he may not do movies but he always makes albums every year, 4 albums in the last 4 years(2001-2004), so it's not like he's sitting on his ass doing nothing, the mainstream might not recognize that but who cares, I'm not gonna diss Will for doing movies though 'cause he's doing his thing, but I'm not gonna diss KRS-ONE for staying true to himself, not every m.c. has to act, and he's taking a stand for what he believes in! They're both legends in different ways and I'm gonna keep on supporting whatever they decide to do! :werd: KRS-ONE is a very intelligent man like Will is and I wouldn't be shocked if he ran for president one day either!
10. I don't need record sales
My flow won't be weak, I'll never fail
Regardless, I see how corrupted the Billboard chart is
We wanna know where the love from our heart is
When we put up with this garbage again and again
I always look to charge for route of lyrics
Retirement doesn't exist until my life expires from this
Livin' hell that I'm trying to improve
The days our dark but I don't need light to move
'Cause I can always sneak behind you
I'm not in the mood to do a dance song
My plot for this move is to just stand strong
I'm gonna be my own executive
So you won't be hearing the record company's perspective
That means I won't leaving anyone feeling like there involved i rigged election
When they put my CD in their car
I write many hooks constantly, I work more hard
Than those rappers you see on the charts
'Cause my raps ain't co-written
Y'all cats are probably sayin' your best friends rhymes instead of your own ****
That's why it doesn't take long for me to type down somethin', wit my own script
11. I noticed how none of y'all responded
But since their ain't no rules I'm gonna keep on knockin'
Y'all cats like I knock boots
Off of fly honeyz
But I keep my mind on my money
So they don't get a penny
Don't get it wrong I can't yet afford a Bentley
So I'm not gonna front and start pretending
Like these fake contenders
Now who wants to be like the Lakers
A lot of fans jump on the bandwagon
But not me since I can't stand the damn braggin'
Since I speak the truth better than Benie Siegal
And I'm gonna stay out prison since what I do will be legal
The officers gave me permission to beat you
Since your lyricism is too featle to move
I leave opponents second guessin' like the Eagles do
12.

I like especially how he performed some crowd bangers/pleasers before he tried out his  new single.  If he goes about this just right, more people will be persuaded to buy his album when it drops.
JJ & FP definatly are amongst the smartest people in rap music today. I think Will totally knows what do in terms of promotion and what not. By Christmas is a good time to release an album, save the summers for movies but winters for music. Code Red, Big Willie Style and Willenium all were released in the fall/winter. So hopefully this album will be a smash hit.

I bet this album will easely go platinum if everything goes according to plan.
Damn right, I couldn't have said it any better than that! :werd: :thumb:
