here's the playlist i made called "fresh prince 50 lyrical classics", it was tough to narrow down to just 50 songs he put out so much fire that i added songs like "getting jiggy with it", "black suits comin", and "men in black" as bonus songs, this playlist could actually put fresh prince in GOAT conversation and the HOF if so called music experts actually paid attention to it because i don't even think the so called legends like Pac and Jay Z have this many classics....

i'm working on a special playlist of will's 50 most lyrical songs(in honor of jeff's birthday tomorrow n his 50th in september) that could be shared with all of his haters since it's basically hate-proof that shows why he's lyrically harder than who most of them in their top 5s

i know it's real talk but real hip hop is about balance, will smith is just as important as 2pac that's why they both should be in the top 10, just like i think mc hammer is just as intelligent as chuck d, this hating on clean rappers need to stop....

well there's now the 35 and under millennial generation who only knows will as an actor since we're closing in on 13 years since lost & found they're too young to remember but the sad thing is that they don't know the history of hip hop before 2000 in general, they think rappers like 50 cent, jay z, lil wayne, and nelly are pioneers, they don't know jjfp, big daddy kane, rakim, and krs one!

well the record speaks for itself, they've achieved more than they've dreamed of but it seems like certain people have taken their careers for granted since they're just as deserving for the hall of fame as any other so called legend is, maybe one day they'll get on the ballot....

Damn we're getting old, I was in 9th grade and 14 years old when the ball dropped on 2000, now I'm 32 18 years later going into 2018, coming to the board all these years has brought so many real memories looking forward to more from JJFP and the potnas in the future!

the jay z and eminem 2017 albums were better than some of their recent material but i wouldn't say they're on the level of blueprint and eminem show albums and i think kendrick's damn was good but not groundbreaking....

It's that time of the year again, reminiscing on another year, I know we all want to act like just cause JJFP haven't put out an album again that all music is dead but that's not true, there's artists from hip hop and other genres keeping the art alive, without ado here I go:
KRS One The World Is Mine album, best hip hop album in MANY years:
Wyclef Jean Carnival III album, as strong as his earlier solo stuff and work with the Fugees to me, timeless music:
Public Enemy Nothing Is Quick In The Desert album, PE still the top hip hop group doing their thing for over 30 years:
Pink Beautiful Trauma, my favorite pop album of 2017:
Snoop Dogg Neva Left album, 25 years after Chronic & Doggystyle he's still king of west:
